Most of us take stock as the year ends. Sometimes we are surprised at how much we have achieved in the space of 365 days. Some other times, we are disappointed at how many achievable things we have left undone for several excuses including, “I forgot.” God does so much for us. Yet you decide to do something for yourself, your neighbor and for Him; and you often forget. How does He do it? He says, “I am watching over my word to perform it.” Sometimes you have to do it simply because you have said before that you would do it. “But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Matthew 26:56.
