In order to be successful with any business, online or offline, you need to create a daily plan and follow it constantly. You have to organize your time and schedule your activities.
The day plan provided in this chapter might be helpful for you. It is the plan I follow for my online advertising.l Surf 2-3 hours per day in TEs. The most you surf the more you gain. I know that surfing is a bit boring for some people, but it is a proven way to drive hits to your page and sign-ups to your business.
l Spend 1-2 hours every day in forums. Make at least 3-5 posts in each forum. Forums provide great advise to many matters in Internet marketing and you can benefit yourself in this way. Also a lot of new members join every day and ask for info or advise. You want to help them. Remember that the secret is in the signature.
l Call your prospects to tell them about your business yourself (I call about 20 people per day). It doesn't matter how did you find them, from Internet or offline. Remember that this is the best way to get referrals. Calling to 20 people per day will take about 1 hour.
l Spend one hour every day to hand out flyers to your neighborhood. Drop some cards and stuff doors with flyers.l Send out some greeting cards (for example 10 per week) to thank people for being interested in your business (either if they want to join or not) and don't forget to ask them for referrals.
So, how much time is this going to take exactly? Online advertising requires that you work in front of your computer screen, so it will take 5 hours the most per day. 5 hours per day is more than enough for online advertising. 7 hours is the maximum and most extreme amount of time you have to spend for your GDI. If you want to work full time promoting GDI, this is the amount of time you should spend per day.
An average people who wants to work part-time can also achieve high results by spending 2 hours per day in TEs and 1 hour in forums, making about 10 posts per day. He can call prospects or give away flyers and cards every 2 or 3 days. So if you want to work part-time, 3 hours work per day promoting your GDI will be more than enough.
Anyway, this scenario is just hypothetical. Each person can create his own day plan according to his current job and his free time.
