Now, everything can be done for free, but to do everything well and without ridiculous amounts of work, it is often good to pay for a few things. I will highlight the most common expenses, or rather, the essentials, below:
1) Your Domain (~$1 per month)Domains now run about $11 per year. That's about a dollar a month to have an easy-to-remember address for your website. This can serve many purposes which I will elaborate upon later, and is pretty much an essential cost. I buy my domains through GoDaddy because they do both domains and hosting, and make it relatively easy to manage all of your sites. I have been using them for six years and have always had good experiences.
