Just search for Youtube and then you will see an option to SIGN UP. You will need to create a Username before you can publish videos on Youtube so be aware that this will be visible for all to see..

So make sure your Username has a CATCHY TITLE or RELEVANT TO

YOUR NICHE or IS YOUR BUSINESS NAME

Once you have your account set up, publish your video to Youtube and make sure you make UNTICK THE BOX WHERE IT SAYS DO YOU WANT IT

PRIVATE. You want it PUBLIC for all to see.

Now it is time to choose headings and keywords and describe the product fully in your video. Within the text box, where you put your description and at the very beginning (before you write any text) remember you need to put your link from your newly bought website. You need to put the http:// at the beginning to make the link clickable. Eg. http://www.goforgold.com (see below one of our examples):

Your Video KeyWords

Now all you need to do is to get your Keywords & Title right in your video.

Keywords are the words and phrases people would use to search for your product and there are various ways to do this but think carefully about what people would put in when searching for your chosen product. Put yourself in their shoes and think of all the keywords that you would use when searching for your chosen topic but there are a few buts to using these more obvious keywords!!

You can use really popular keywords and phrases but be aware that there will be more competition for these OR you can use less competitive keywords, where it will be easier to be ranked higher in Youtube (less competition) but you will get less searches.

There are pros and cons to both methods but be aware you will need to be a bit cleverer to get your video ranked if you use the keywords that are really popular and competitive. For example if you try searching under your more competitive keywords and you find there are 15,000 videos for this keyword, I would think again and go for the less obvious keywords where there maybe only 2,000 or 3,000 videos.

At the same time, use Google Keyword Search Tool and Youtube Keyword Search Tool (at the time of writing though we found that the Youtube Keyword Search Tool was of limited use but things can improve over time so by the time you read this and try it out, it may function properly ).

So what do the above tools do above?

Well, letś focus on the Google Keyword Search Tool. If you put in your chosen keyword, the program will throw back at you the number of people using that keyword or key phrase to search both globally and locally.

So letś just say that your chosen topic is migraines and in Youtube you have searched for just ´MIGRAINES´. Well I have just done that on Youtube and it has thrown back 19,300 videos. A non-goer in my opinion as too many other videos to compete with. Also under the Google Keyword Search Tool, there are 1.5 million searches globally and 673,000 locally – a BIG MARKET!

However, by being a bit clever, you can fine tune your keywords and make them what we call ĺonger tail keywords´. So, off the top of my head, letś not just use MIGRAINES but letś use ćure migraine´. Now when we put in ćure migraineínto Youtube, it throws back at us 1,570 videos – now we are talking as this is far fewer videos to compete with to get seen.

Now, letś just get an idea of how many searches there are and I know we are using the Google Keyword Search Tool and not the Youtube Keyword Search Tool, but I find this by far the better tool and if they are searching for this key phrase in Google, you can assume it should be similar in Youtube. I have just looked and when I put in ćure migrainesÍ get 74,000 globally and 49,500 locally so fewer searches but easier to get seen on Youtube.

Often it is advisable to go for longer tail keywords such as ´how to treat my migraine´ but I have done no research into these longer tail keywords. The aim is to keep the number of searches decent with the least amount of competition and this can apply with keywords in websites as well etc.

Remember once you have chosen your keywords, put them prominently in the title and write a long and length description packed full of these keywords.

Also then put them in your keyword tag box separating each one with a comma. If you decide that a key phrase what people will search for is – say

¨how to relieve my migraine¨, and you feel that this phrase is EXACTLY what people will search for, you can put the phrase inside speech marks (a speech mark at the front and a speech mark at the end).

So for example your keywords could be:

how to relieve,my,migraine,headache,problem,treat,treating,¨how to cure my migraineÏf people put in:

How to treat my headache

•

Treating my migraine

your video will get picked as a relevant one to display by Youtube but where in the rankings obviously depends on the amount of competition for that phrase.

If then people put in how to cure my migraine your video will come as well as you have decided that this is a definite key phrase that people search for regularly and you should stand more of a chance of being ranked higher than others who have used separate keywords - how,to,cure,my,migraine. The Importance Of Backlinks To Your Video

OK so backlinks are important too. So what is a Backlink?

Well, these are where other websites, article sites, blogs, social media sites etc. have your video url (link) listed on their site – from where people can click (from this outside site) and they can then land on YOUR video. The more links you have out there linking back to your video, the higher up the Youtube rankings you go – this is ONE of the Strategies of getting up the Youtube rankings anyhow.

The same applies with websites; the more links you have out there linking back to your website, the higher up the Search Engines you go!

Also remember that the more relevant to your niche this external site is, the more power it holds. What I mean by this is that in one of our niches, the photography niche, the more ´photography type sites ´that link back to our video, the more weight this holds with Youtube. Other sites quite unrelated may be linking back but the photography ones hold more power as they are related. Also sites that are very popular and related to your niche themselves and that are linking back to your video will ALSO really help your rankings.

CREATING BACKLINKS: A great way of creating backlinks to your site is to create articles about your product OR your subject area (or have these written for you) and then put them onto loads of article sites out there.

To name but a few we submit to Ezinearticles (the most important), Articlecat, ArticleRich, Articlealley, Ideamarketers – there are LOADS out there!

So letś assume you have got a 300 word article ready. These article sites allow you to provide a backlink with your video address and your website address (if relevant). The search engines (well Youtube in this case) then recognise that there are loads of links coming into your video and place you further up the rankings. This is just ONE of the ways but it is hugely effective.

This is one way anyhow that we use on a regular basis. We don’t put the articles on ourselves though – this would take us forever and a day to do! We employ someone from Elance or Scriptlance to do this for us – for what they charge, it is SO well worth the money for what you get out of it, believe me!

We recently had over 100 articles submitted to article sites into our wedding and portrait photography niche area that we sell into and this was purely to create backlinks to our website. This helped push the website from well down on the second page to the first page of Google (5th position) and the cost to have all this article submitting done was only $50. We did have other links from other sources but this gave a massive boost to the ranking of that particular website.

Other factors may have had an influence on this though but we know this mass article submitting had a marked effect…

Just one tip on writing articles for you - did you realise that you can very often pick up articles that other people have written for pennies and re-use the content for your on articles. Just check out Resell Rights Articles in your chosen area. They can cost very little and I suggest that you jig or rewrite them to some degree but they give you a good backbone from where to start..

We have, in the past used articles that we have not written ourselves and used these as the backbone from which we fleshed out the article to ´make it our own´. This saves so much time and effort and that, in my opinion, is what it is all about. Time is your biggest resource in life.

And also, why not go to Elance again, where people all over the world are eager to bid for your project and they offer a price to rewrite your articles for you and again this is usually for very little cost.

Now get someone on Elance or Scriptance to submit your articles as well to article sites with the relevant links linking back to your video.

What Happens Now?

Now once this is all done and set up, then guess what? Well things don’t kick off straight away. It takes a little time for the search engines to recognise the new links so you need to be patient.

But, quite quickly you should see a marked increase in the Google rankings & Youtube rankings of your videos if you have set all this up correctly and have put in enough effort.

Keep on creating these backlinks as there are SO MANY WAYS – you will never finish creating backlinks as the opportunities to get them out there are endless.

Another great way of creating backlinks are commenting on other relevant blogs and leaving your link in there. You have to have your comment accepted by the blog owner through so make the comment interesting and TOTALLY

relevant to their blog.

You then make cash every time someone buys your affiliate product by clicking on the link underneath your video, which takes them straight to the affiliate offer. So cool! Or better still, you should make more cash by sending them to your squeeze page, getting their name and email address and BUILDING YOUR LIST and THEN promoting your affiliate link to them afterwards.

This gives you the basics of setting up an affiliate link from Youtube!

SO let’s recap, with this method:

You don’t need a website but as we have suggested it is a good idea to have a squeeze page

You don’t have to post or despatch anything

You don’t need to speak to any customers

But YES you do have some hours work at the beginning but what is the worry in that when you can then sit back and watch the sales come in.
