2. on wp Discussion Settings always block your surfer comments (to avoid spam)

3. in WP Permalink Settings always use the %postname% string instead of the default parameter (this is very important for maximizing search engine visibility)

4. To look more serious in front of google and increase your total search ranking, you may want to add a disclaimer, about, and contact pages to your master copy.
