Trade show exhibits are often difficult to ship. Larger booths when dismantled often take up as much as five or six large shipping crates. For some exhibits custom shipping crates have to be constructed. If your company is from Boston and the two events you need to attend are in Las Vegas it is often more cost efficient to store the dismantled booth in Vegas between shows rather than ship it back to Boston. Transportation and storage can be a major expense and often require sophisticated logistics that may be beyond many companies.

Having an established trade show company handle transportation and storage is in most case the least expensive and more efficient way to go. Trade show companies have local storage of their own or arranged storage in most if not all major trade show cities.
