DAD AT WORK

Dad is hard-working. He realizes he has a responsibility over you. Dad works really hard and this is commendable. Everyone at his office say he is a great worker. They like his leadership style, team work and technical ability. These characteristics make dad the great dad he is.

Dad knows he has to give in his best to make ends meet. It is not just responsibility at work place that makes him work; it is his fear about you, your siblings and mom. Dad wants the workers to believe he is responsible enough to cater for your needs

Your dad’s bosses acknowledge his efforts at work. They make glowing comments about his ability. Everyone associated with dad at work know he is not just an ordinary worker, he is a great dad. Dad qualities are what he passes on to them at his work place. Dad is responsibility exemplified and trust embodied. His business partners trust his ability to keep his words and do his work. And you know what? Dad is saying “child, you too can trust me like those guys at work too”. Your dads like Peter Roses dad who she alludes taught her that the only way to make good at anything is to practice and then practice some more

Clarence Buddington Cleland describes his father, “he didn’t tell me how to live, he lived and let me watch him do it”. Dad carries a positive air. All he sees is possibilities. He tells his fellow work men we can, we can, let’s go ahead, and let’s do it. And you know what? This work -men believe dad in totality. Dad knows you too believe him, and he wants you to take him by his words. Dad is showing you he is not lazy. He loves to work. He is passing across the message that laziness is not the route to achievement. He sees the best of you and is assured your best is learning the principles of true work. Miguel Indumin wrote of his father, “I inherited that calm from my father who was a farmer. You sow, you wait for good or bad weather, you harvest but working is something you always must do”. Remember that saying “No food for lazy man”? Mmh, you won’t be having food if dad was lazy. You ate food this morning because somewhere in your city your dad is out to ensure ends meet.

Understand with dad when he says he is busy. Dad has to be busy most time so that you can have that choice meal, holiday treat, own that console and even attend school. You may not have dad around all the time you want him. Dad would appreciate your understanding. Dad is not the only one going through this tough time. Many dads do like Sam Ewing who asserts that nobody ever asks a dad how he combines work and family.

Everything about dad is a proof he really cares. Someday you too will take dad’s place and you’d be a dad or a mom too and you’d appreciate dad’s efforts.

Dad works but he also knows when to rest. Dad knows when to work and when to rest. He knows he has to be around even when he has to work. Though sometimes he faces a big challenge at work but he knows a part of his responsibility is to ensure he hangs around you when he is not at work. Dad understands " all work and no play make jack a dull boy". He wants you to know the difference between his working and his desire and he wants to share his precious on-working time with you.
