When you think of a traditional board meeting, the first image that probably comes to mind is a boring, 1980’s-style IBM conference room, where a bunch of stuffed suits sit around a table crunching numbers and talking to each other like robots.
Fortunately, things have changed. There’s a new world of work, and its spirit is catching on. Board meetings are occurring in more exciting places, often with fun activities involved.
If you ask company leaders why they use this new style of board meeting, they’ll say it shows appreciation and unites the team.
I couldn't agree more.
