Philanthropy In Its Truest Sense

We would be wrong to think that the world of the homeless hasn’t changed in the last century. We would be right to think that maybe people should help themselves more. They should try harder to be without these extensive free services found all around. People could be stronger people. They could learn to get by with less and great amounts of money could be used elsewhere. It would make society better overall. In a way it is more philanthropic to expect more from people than it is making people depend on things a certain way. Once you're 18 you’re gone.. Because who wants a man child? If people have to swim then they will. The water might not even be that bad if you know what I mean.

Philanthropists may desire a great jail and law system that is very lenient but what we need sometimes are tougher laws, not lighter ones. Philanthropists should say in that instance, “we need to protect innocent people and keep bad people from harming or taking their lives.” Lives can be ruined by rampant shoplifters, and how dare them. An employee could take their job very seriously and unlike the shoplifters, they live responsible lives. We may not know just how much the death penalty is needed unless someone kills our loved ones. Maybe a judge should hear what those victims have to say about it and take it very seriously.

Worldliness As The Bible Would Put It

The Bible says to not get lost in the cares of the world.

And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.   Mark 4:19.

As Christians we should not be driven by modern issues. It has always been that way. It is more so now than it ever was before. That is because of the internet and the nature of how rapidly those things spread. It is an all in one voice. The voice of thousands at once and people are collectively a part of it. We need to understand the Holy Bible. That is what’s on us. Outside issues, agendas, problems, philosophies, are all just distractions. We must focus on The Holy Bible and in that we can do no wrong. Our thinking will not be tainted by worldly intellect when we do. “You cannot serve God and Mammon.”

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 1 John 2:15-16.

The distractions and “deterrents to faith” include: desires of wealth, hedonism, sinful lifestyles, pride, trying to be better than everyone else, selfishness, materialism, and the kind of indoctrination that worldly things would implant within you. The Bible says that having good things is fine. God wants you to have good things. But he wants your love and your focus. He doesn’t want things to get in the way between those things and Him. What He says and what the Bible teaches us is the most important thing, not any material thing we may have.

There Is A Power Behind Being Good And Being Christian

The ways of Jesus Christ have been empowered. In Roman times things were against Christian lifestyles. For so very long now the world was built around Christianity. Our societies and things were established based on what the Bible would make of them. Particularly through Christian doctrine. How quickly things have turned around though. “The wicked never rest.” The Devil knows he must act quick, that he doesn’t have a lot of time. Revelations 12:12. The demons fear God. James 2:18. They know who God is. They are fallen angels. Angels were made to know and worship God. They knew who Jesus was when he walked the earth. That is because they were made just as much to know and worship him. They see God in him and it pains them. They are even self hating over it. That is why Jesus Christ has so much power over demons.

There are lots of ways that Christianity can save us from bad things. For them it is much like “live by the sword, die by the sword,” while we turn the other cheek. We learn to love and deal with our enemies. If someone would take from us, we let them, knowing that it is better to lose something over losing our lives. We are taught to agree with our adversity rather than contending with it and having ourselves thrown into prison. We don’t judge others and that serves us well. We don’t spew out of our mouths angry curse words. We are less likely to form bad addictions. We have self restraint. We seek to be blameless and being blameless means having nothing that anyone could blame us for. So naturally life goes better for us.

Furthermore, we have direction in life. God guides us into better places. He corrects us, with mercy and wisdom, if we need to be corrected in our ways. We are not remorseful. Evil spirits would have us doubt ourselves and rob us from the forgiveness that God gives. We are emotionally better off. We restrain from painful emotions like anger. We have control over our sexual nature. We are not contentious. We don’t do the sort of things that would imprison us. So the Bible has brought wisdom and guidance in life and it does so better than any other thing. Most importantly, God is beside us in all of these things.

Social Restoration Through The Bible

Without God’s wisdom, society can be a wreck and a living hell. They ask “where is God?” “Why would God let things be so bad?” It is because we have refused to have Him around ( they have.) It is because we have taken the Bible out of our society. It is because of their blasphemy. It is like with the Israelites. God was with them up until the point they went off and worshiped other “gods” and their idols. Not until the Israelites returned to God did good things return to them and as an example they are remarkable.

The difference was night and day when it comes to being with Him or being without Him.

All of the things that need to be fixed in our world can be with the Bible. It teaches us what we need to do: to not remain selfish, hedonists, endlessly seeking pleasure, without souls really, self guided, never helping, being like animals, emotionally unwell, without any spirituality guiding us, having impoverished morality, desiring power over others, and so on.

Addictions of all kinds will go away. People would be honest for its own sake. God gives them a reason to speak the truth. He gives people a reason to be moral. The Bible makes people peacekeepers. The New Testament teaches us to love and care for one another. The Bible teaches us to have understanding over resentment. It teaches us to forgive others. It teaches us to control our tongues. It teaches us to have a work ethic. It is simply composed of things that lead to a better world.

The Last Light Of Hope Is The Strongest

When the last lights go out then all of the power of good is brought into that last living flame.  When all hope is lost, bravery increases. Life could be so miserable anyway and worth losing to some. Word gets around quickly from the mouths of “last light.” Very legends are born that inspire people. Their journey is worth every bit of challenges it brings. People seek solutions and painfully need them. They become louder and louder against their oppressors. Riots against a bad government form. Often, all it takes is one spark.

In the end a more beautiful world comes from it. Thanks to the effort of a few that became many, the world around them becomes far better and remains that way for a certain amount of time. Evil pops its head up again sooner or later. They are monsters driven back into the void. That is, unless the monster that appears is a most formidable one. They then may suffer for a certain amount of time beneath its authority. In the end, it too will be vanquished. Then, when things become so bad that God must intervene, He will. He will for the sake of the Christians and the sake of the elect. He will gather us up and leave what is bad to spoil upon the earth. They are those destined to hell. God will lock Satan and his angels in the abyss. (Kind of makes me think of spaceships and black holes.) There will be a thousand years of peace before he must be let out again, and he will be overtaken one last time, to be in hell forever after.

Underrated Christian Values

Patience  is important. Patience is the one work ethic that you need. Work is mostly hard because of it being time consuming. Unless it is exhaustive then patience is all you need to work well. You’d just take it all one thing at a time until it is done. The same goes for education. So don’t “stare at the clock.” Patience can save you from trouble. When there is an overbearing line at the grocery store and worse, the clerk is taking her or his time, we have it in us to scream. Once we cross that line then like a volcano, it all erupts. If we are able to just sit and wait without any stress then we know that our patience is substantial.

Work ethic is a Christian value. If we are going to earn what we have then we must work for it. Furthermore we should not hand all of it out to our so-called friends. If it is money we earned then we are basically doing our work for our friends. Look at it this way: how would you feel if they came to your very job and asked for money? While you were in the act of working and ready to go home? It’s the same thing as if you gave it to them at home. They take your work and make it their profit. The Bible doesn’t say anything about giving your money to people who are your equal/ those who don’t need it. If you are poor, then don’t give to the poor. That is a responsibility of those better off.

We want people to work when it is possible for them, and it almost always is possible. In fact it is Christian to desire those things. “The laborer is worth their wages,” Luke 10.

Understanding is one thing that can end a lot of hatred we may have. It stops us from building up hatred and anger. When we start to judge poorly things quickly go south. Without (positive) understanding we certainly make an enemy out of people in every way. By contrast, those who just don’t use hateful terminology within their minds will not see others in the worst of light. It is like this “I hate them for this reason, that one too, for what they said, how they live,” or “I can appreciate them for this, I hope they do better and get what they are after. I wish them the best.” We are all in this boat together. Things get rocky for everyone. Nothing is certain in this world and the existence we are under. We should build up perspectives that have us regard people in better, softer, and more gentle ways. It is not a difficult thing to do. In fact, once you are good at that then you’ll have freed yourself from a lot of emotional pain and burden. So all you need to do is to have a positive understanding and not a negative one.

Strength because “he is weak but we are strong.” Strength because we do not believe in self pity. Strength for being a better person. Unless a problem is truly bad we are not after getting others in trouble. We disregard the worst from people and enjoy the good in them. That takes strength. Strength because we would overpower our addictions. Strength of self restraint. We make ourselves people who do not worry, have worldly born stress, and most generally we have power over the flesh. We are spiritually strong.

Maturity And Self Control are the virtues of the day. They go hand in hand. We see grown men acting like children more than ever before. What ever happened to growing up? They go into fits and tantrums over trivial things. Then they get all loud and even destructive, fully believing it is justified. It isn’t. It never turns out well with them. As for me, it scares me thinking that one dumb action could get me locked up. You push someone, you lay a hand on them, even lightly, you could get locked up over it. Let alone what these people do: like what was on the news yesterday. A guy in road rage took a glass bottle and threw it at a window, breaking it. That says to me that the guy had such insufficient self control. Not to mention that guy that just walked right out of his car with a bat, smashed up another driver's car because of road rage. What does that tell you? Well, with how very many instances there are of these things currently: it says that people have lost self control.

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 1 Corinthians 13:11.

Hope. The world could take away a lot of hope we have. Maybe we had a parent that did that to us never succeeding in doing what they say. We can hope in God however and know that He is always with us. We can hope in Heaven and know it is a true hope. We can rest assured that our afterlife will be better than this one. So we have less fears. We see beyond the horizon and are blessed with that knowledge. For some, life is a sort of nihilistic affair. To them, their life is pointless. For that reason they live miserable lives ever seeking the next pleasurable thing and know nothing of the world apart from the lust of their eyes. We are not animals. We are not strangely floating on a planet like this “just because.” The James Webb Space Telescope has been proving scientists wrong. They are often wrong. They are considered geniuses in their field yet write books where one thing goes wrong and have to rewrite the whole thing. Then this theory works but strangely doesn’t. Then how can both be true and things like that complicate the foundation of their knowledge. Everything is magnificent because God created it. They’d believe in any possibility so long as it isn’t God. They’d believe in wormholes and multiverses, but not Him. We have hope that they should have. We have a religion whose ways are true. We are gifted with that. It is a gift we want all other humans to have but some simply don’t and never will.

Not being worldly is certainly an overlooked virtue of ours. We are not made to be captured by worldly affairs. We are made to go against them and to be free from them. We turn our focus to the Bible and it is a good and dependable book. We have it all laid out before us. The people of the world wage war against one another and that is apart from our “being” and understanding. We do not take up these little cultural/ societal/ political battles. We know right from wrong very distinctly. We are not swallowed whole by the world. We are far less subjected to its sins. Our thoughts are not so tainted as by those who do sin. That’s especially bad among those sinners that are after worldly born power. Our power is known not to be our own but to be God’s. Wrath belongs to God.

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Romans 12:19.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12

15  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17  And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.

(1 John 2:15-17.)

And how deep does the rabbit hole go when it comes to Christian values and Christian virtue? It seems bottomless to me, just as bottomless as the Bible itself.

You Have One Father, God. You Have A Great Family, Who Are All Others With God.

If your parents are living in depravity then the Christian thing to do is to remove yourself from them. Or maybe you are lucky and your parents lead you into the faith and have you read the Bible and go to church while young. Then you have a Christmas and Easter to enjoy together just as God would have it be as it should be. With me, I took my step father up as my real father (as opposed to my biological father) because he was a Christian man and brought me to God, which was something that would have not happened with the father I was born with. He was a wicked person in many ways, in fact. I would never have been brought to God were it not for him. Therefore I honor his marriage to my mother and ask God to honor it as well.

But we have the grandparents of all grandparents, which is God. One creator. The one who made us. The one who knew us before we were even born as illustrated in the first chapter of Jeremiah. He laid out what was to be with us. He chose us. As Christians, we are Christians and strong in the faith because God wanted us. He picked us out among bad people and set us aside for a Holy destiny. Salvation is a gift and we were born with that gift.

Under God our parents are more like our brothers and sisters. Of course they are our mothers and fathers under human terms but in greater terms they are our brothers and sisters, granted they are also within the faith. Those who are of the Devil are of the Devil. That can be true of any family member. Can be true of any person in the world. When we use the word “family” we should consider our larger family. Christianity is a brother/sisterhood. We are all taught under Jesus Christ. He is our great leader. He is our great shepherd. The one that we should truly look up to is God. He created every last human being on earth. The Lord’s Prayer is a “we” thing. Not a “me” thing. We should care for one another and be good towards one another, because our family is made up of Christians and is far from being limited to only those we were born into. I would say, treat another Christian just as well as you would treat your brothers and sisters, because they are.

When People Use Christianity The Wrong Way

The late author Anne Rice once said that Christianity is a dangerous religion. I see what she means. It is not dangerous for what it is. It is dangerous when misused.. Corrupted by evil people. When you take the power of God and misuse it, of course it is dangerous. The Devil wants us to look bad. That is evident in how Christianity is so demonized anymore yet the other religions are not. Anything that is Christian, nothing of whatever else. It has been picked out and targeted by Satan. Christianity not being followed right but instead used for evil purposes shows evil of a person or entity. It is not a true reflection of us by any means. You could compare our beginnings to a rodeo person that throws a rope around a beast. It was tackled. It had to be. No one could stop it. It was spreading everywhere. Powerfully and quickly it overtook everything. They would not let our ancestors have the Bible. That was only for the clergy to have and to teach. It was that way for a long time. King James had the Bible mass printed for everyone in 1611. I like to think that God wanted the Bible for everyone. So there are paper books and the press.

Some create cults. Those are the greatest religious disasters that could be. Some of their leaders are war-like. Some are perverted, some are power hungry, most are on incredible ego trips. They begin to believe they are Jesus Christ and the thought overwhelms them. So they go about as God’s gift to the earth and bring in large numbers of followers who want nothing more than to sit beside “Jesus.” These people end in mass suicide and live isolated and deprived lives up until then. They must come to know the afterlife as a paramount thing with everything in this world taken from them, so naturally things go that way for them. Yet the Bible says it very plainly: Jesus is not going to come as he did the first time. His return will not be living a life in this place or that. He returns suddenly with all of the angels of Heaven behind him.

We can be ascetic if we want to be but when it starts to become self destructive then it is going the perfectly wrong way. That becomes a trap at some point, laid by the follower themself, to which they fall into. We don’t walk out just to be homeless in hopes of it bringing us closer to God. We don’t starve ourselves. We fast. Some will mistake the two but the two are totally different things. On the other hand I guess I can understand how a person would safely put themselves on a cross to gain a better understanding of how it must have been. They don’t drive stakes into their hands however. If it is true (this is not in the Bible however) Peter requested that his crucifixion be upside down because he did not want to die as his savior did. He felt unworthy of it.

Dangers Of The Occult

There is no “making friends” from demons. There is no help to be found from them. They don’t care about those who summon them. They are not going to show themselves in physical form when they are brought up. They aren’t going to speak to those who pull them up. Yet they are brought up, and things get dangerous in their lives for those who do. Satanic forces can be small and weak or great and powerful. Witnesses say that Hitler seemed possessed by demons. He would moan in agony, talk in strange ways, and say incoherent things while alone. He was known to have dabbled in the occult. His Nazi regime did as well. He was brought under a very powerful spell, under a very powerful Satanic force.

Uses of the occult do not have to be so deliberate. It is found where it is celebrated, like in movies, books, and games. These fantasy characters are drawn out like idols. They are inhuman, even demonic looking sometimes. You might even see idolatry in a trademark. It is all accidental use of the occult or use of the occult that is just not so direct. It is still using the occult, however.

Some Christians don’t believe in demonic possession or sorcery but it is discussed in the Bible. Jesus drove out demons. Demons seem to leave Christians alone. Not always though. They might take the purest Christian they can and give them riches and fame so that they neglect or even denounce God. They bring out agents against Christianity, usually misusing our faith and tainting our name. They’d misdirect us. They’d send us the wrong way. They’d toy with us. They’d do their best to make religions that outdo Christianity and guide many away at once. They’d have everyone put nature over God. Those are their typical plows.

Things like Satanic metal music brings evil spirits into the world. That’s so when listeners engage in it and become emotionally involved. They’d practice magic not knowing why it isn’t producing anything for them (or else “just enough” to have them continue.) Again, why would these demons show and speak to any of these people? Yet through them they are released into the world.

These demons know who Jesus Christ is, as they were created to know and worship God. They have defied that but it remains a part of their nature. They know the power that Jesus Christ has. They don’t want to be thrown into the void or some terrible place. So Christians have the power of Christ over them. You will know them from the demented way they speak. Not so much growls as strange accents. They have a very demented way of sounding. Their accents are like a strange use of words, as the best I can put it. That’s because they use words differently from us. They are far uninhibited. They have strange body movements to them. The flesh is strange to them. They sort of move about freely. They are not stiff in their demeanor. They come off as childish. They come across as lower intelligence but in fact are higher in intelligence. You could say that their intelligence is different from ours. Things are more this way then they are like a little girl in bed with supernatural things happening all around. They are animals when it comes to pleasure. More so, in fact. Things like pleasure from food are far more pronounced in them.

That’s how you can identify them and what to do about them.

A Program To Become Holy

Here are things that make up the path in becoming a more righteous person. Call it Holy, Righteous, a good Chrisian, or whatever you want. This is flexible to some extent.

First, come to know The New Testament really well. That should not be difficult. The New Testament is a small book. It contains greater knowledge than any other book, too. You don’t have to memorize the verse numbers. That just takes up effort better used elsewhere. You can easily get an idea of where what is in the Bible however. You might be helped with visual things. If you do not feel you fully grasp what certain content is, then you can look it up online.

Grab and control any negative or painful emotions. Learn to choose to not be angry. Take control over your personal urges. Discontinue having hateful thoughts. Try to have a positive understanding of people all you can. That means things like favoring them and giving them the benefit of the doubt. It means to understand why they are the way they are. It means to have a greater acceptance of people overall. If you sin more while you are in one group or another then it is better to either be alone or leave your social circumstances to the church.

Work on yourself. Gain less selfish perspectives. Be proud of being a child of God however, knowing that God comes first. Pray just enough every day. Read the Bible a little every day (or a lot every day if it is new to you.) Learn the way you would. You might get a daily devotional book (such as Streams in the Desert, that’s a good one.) So you will be sure you read a little every day. There is also the one year bible. In a year you would have read it all. The Bible is made up of stories that are easy to remember. The books of the prophets are easy to remember too. You can read over the whole thing once and remember most of it. Watch visually told Bible things if that works well for you. Then there are video programs which say one scripture after another that you can watch. That is all that is: a little music, one verse then another on TV. And remember there is a lot to understand. Things are not so black and white in the Bible. Rather, a small amount means a lot. It has depth to it. So we all need help in understanding things further.

Remove yourself from bad company and bad influences. They will not do you any good in this life or this path you are on. They could make a wreck in your life. As well as you can, keep your company with good Christians.

Follow the hard parts of the Bible, not just the easier things. Christianity wasn’t made to be the easy route through life. It was made to be your stronger and stronger making path. So it tells us to turn the other cheek and to love our enemy and we must take those things seriously.

With as many good reasons you have to be Christian you will remain so. So look for the good reasons behind everything within it. Put your heart into the treasure of Heaven over the treasure of the earth. Put your heart into God and God’s kingdom. Don’t be distracted by worldly things. Reject worldly things. Consider your Bible to have everything you need to learn in life. Don’t become involved or invested in worldly matters.

Be strong and determined in the faith, rejecting every bad thing and turning to every good thing. Make your belief paramount. Be a wise Christian however, knowing that it is needed sometimes (as opposed to taking a certain thing literally.) Don’t misguide yourself. It is not always an exact way of doing things. Things are conditional, sometimes.

Be content with who you are. Ours is not a path to perfection. Not in our typical understanding of “perfection” anyway. We are made perfect through God. Through Jesus Christ our sins are no more regarded. However, if we really have God in us then we will not continue to sin:

Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 1 John 3:6.

Those with God simply turn away from sin. If Jesus Christ is living in our hearts then we will turn against sin. As for the rest, there is always the sermon on the mount. It sums up Christianity. It is found in Matthew chapter 5 (the whole chapter) which ends by saying: “Be perfect, therefore, as your Heavenly Father is perfect.”

About Heaven

There is a lot to be said with just a little: in Heaven there will be no pain and suffering and in Heaven we will rest with God.

We wouldn’t have hunger then. We would die from starvation. That would fix a great deal of problems in the world. Our bodies wouldn’t tire out. We wouldn’t need to replenish our energy. We wouldn’t become exhausted. We could walk as far as we want to for those two reasons. We could be up day and night not so much sleeping as resting.

We’d not need surgery or doctors. We would never again have to worry about the mortal state of our bodies.

The Bible says we will be given a home of our own made just for us. For some that means total privacy and for others it means total socializing. For some that means lots of room and for others a modest amount. For some it is one location and for others another. In all cases, they are perfect for us just as God has intended. We will live out our eternal lives there and in the new world. As for “the new world and the new heaven” it will be here on earth. God is returning to establish his earthly kingdom. It is said to be a magnificent looking place.

I hope that life is just like it is here, only better and without suffering or death. I mean, it will be like that second one, but that first one: that we still do our things. That we still can live like humans live. That our science and technology is perhaps enhanced by God. We have more of the same in other words only without the curse part of our existence. The Bible alludes to it. It is not at all without basis. We will continue to live like humans live only with God being here with us. Like the garden of eden in a way. They lived like humans only they were meant to live forever.. Without any pain or suffering. When they went against God’s will then God sent them out into the harsh world where they were now prey to thorns and thistles.

Will we have our family with us? What about eating and drinking? What about personal projects and living out our purpose? Would there be something like universal basic income? Imagine the prisons throughout the world, those would be torn down. Wouldn’t need those anymore. Maybe God brings with Him the tech needed for perfectly operating self driving vehicles. Maybe God and His angels are beings in outer space. That’s what “heaven” means, doesn’t it? That is why I believe it is an alien race sort of thing and some Christians say that Ezekiel described a spaceship. Maybe we could sum up the greatest possibilities of science fiction and know that God will bring them into reality. From which a utopia is formed. To live a thousand years over, perhaps, a hundred, with our whole family with us. To see our grandparents again, lost loved ones, people who just went their separate ways earlier in our lives. I hope and pray it is all so.

20 Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, 21 nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.” Luke 17:20-21 NIV.

Little Gifts, Greater Gifts

God loves a cheerful giver.. Cheerful, without reluctance, without compulsion:

6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 ESV.

In other words, the more you give the more is returned to you, just as Jesus also said:

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete   withal  it shall be measured to you again. Luke 6:38 KJV.

When I first set my heart to mailing out gifts to my family I had feelings of wanting to have had that money for myself instead. After a year of doing it however I had no more doubt that it was something I wanted to do: for every birthday, Christmas, mother’s day, and father’s day. That is something that you can never lose. I can have all kinds of things of my own yet lose them all in a turn of bad events. The gifts you give stand forever. I especially enjoy giving gifts to the children of my family knowing just how much they enjoy things over adults.

I came from a gift giving family. I came from a Christian family. Who knows how things may have been without the Christianity in my family. Probably a lot worse. My family is Christian however. We celebrated holidays and went on vacations and it was money well spent. I think that holidays, happy times out, and birthdays, are all money best spent.

I like the idea that what gift I give can last and last a long time. It will go further than the person you give it to. What I mean is something like it becoming a hand me down. Someone younger gets it. It may go in the direction of becoming a desired collectable. Then it is sold online to a buyer who wants to add it to their collection. It could be more or less valuable to them and they leave it to someone else and so on. It may wind up in a flea market. Might be in a garage sale or two. Anyways, I like the idea that the one gift I give will come into the possession of many different people for who knows how long.

Thinking back to my youth, I wonder where all of my old video games went. Those have become a lot more collectable than comic books. People want them in the box and all of that. I can say that I left them clean and intact. My old Mega Man 4, Ninja Gaiden 2 game, and NES console. I wonder where they are today and where they have been.. A child probably enjoyed them at first. They rise in value though, so much that they are no longer things for children. So they may be on someone’s book shelf along with other items in their collection. They could be posted online to sell for all I know. Maybe a year is gone and they are on sale online yet again. Maybe they are in a store that sells old games. Or, as far as I know, are somewhere in the landfill or some attic and forgotten all about. There’s one thing that’s true though, that one gift gave a lot of people happiness, not just me.

Go Forward With Peace And Confidence

9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Joshua 1:9 KJV.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; 17 even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. John 14:16-17 KJV.

There was a time of dread in my life. I was just sure that the worst things were going to happen to me. I had no rest of peace. I had just come into a state of fears and worries for no good reason. Then something incredible happened. I became overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit. I went out on that day and walked the most peaceful walk of my life. I felt lighter than air, peaceful, and happy again. I had gotten out of the faith for some time. God set me back into the right direction. I got a Bible as quickly as I could and the first thing I read was the incredible first chapter of The Gospel of John.

To some extent we should be without worldly worries and concerns. The pains of the flesh as they are known: the misery that sin brings, those things do not belong with our true selves. We are a living soul, one eternal. We must always acknowledge the presence of God in our lives with great sureness. He is beside us every day.

It always helps me to think ‘the world (or this person or that) has no power over my soul.’ My soul belongs to God, and so does my destiny. We are tried by this world. We are sentenced by the Devil in it. Satan brought us death. This is a great challenge that we will win, however. This world resembles nothing of our future and there will be a time when this current existence of ours is all but forgotten. A hundred twenty years now, at best, a many thousand and thousand beyond years to follow. That is in a better place. So who wins? I know I would find it insulting. They can only take a piece from us, the smallest piece, which before the resurrection was something enormous and meaningful, but because of the resurrection no longer is. Now Satan is going to hell. I think I would find that shameful and insulting!

Differing Opinions On Scripture

From the start we have Adam and Eve. There is always that question: where did their children’s children come from? Was that incest? I believe those that say Adam was God’s 8th day creation and before that He made all of the tribes of earth. Then there are some that believe Satan really was a serpent, while some say the tree was his body and the flesh was their sin. Some say that sex was the original sin.

Then there are some that believe that Lucifer (from Isaiah 14) was The Devil while others believe it was Nebuchadnezzar. Then some believe that it was referring to rulers over the ages. And some even think that it meant Jesus as in Revelations 22:16 Jesus referred to himself as The Bright Morning Star which is exactly what the name Lucifer means. That may be because Jesus represents everything in the Old Testament. He fulfilled every last thing within it. It all relates back to him. Whatever the Old Testament says, returns to him. Jesus is the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. Jesus also comes as lightning and things like that. It has actually been a topic among theologians.

Do you rest on the sabbath? The Bible says we rest with Jesus. Do we eat pork? The Bible says that Jesus fulfilled the law. As for having a good diet though the Old Testament guidelines still serve us well.

Some dispute what hell really is. The Bible is full of metaphors to begin with. Some of them we take more literally than others and we tend to take the hellfire thing literally. Maybe we should. Maybe that is what it literally is. Others however would say it is death.. The grave.. Sheol. That it is non existence. Some say it is simply existence without God. If that is true then we live in a half hell already, as we are partially without God’s existence on this earth. The word Gehenna just refers to a trash heap in ancient Israel where their trash was burned. There are different words for hell with different meanings. Hades is another one, taken from the Greeks in the New Testament.

Should we enjoy our food and things or not? I would avoid any self sacrificial stuff. God does not want our lives to be meaningless and miserable!

I wonder if Noah traveled to Israel from Israel or came to a new land from an old one. I mean, did he go in a circle?

Then some believe that the right translation would read: and the earth became void and without form. So God said “let there be light, and there was light.” It brings to my imagination that in the midst of a volcanic eruption a bird was trying to fly to land, escaping the darkness, pleading let there be light.

Some say that the right translation reads: Adam’s side, not his rib. The right translation says “from his side.” My sister told me that a man’s side has more DNA in it than other areas of his body. God put Adam to sleep. That sounds so much like anesthesia!

I think that most denominations have it right, they just do things differently. They just focus on things differently. I believe God appreciates each denomination for what they are, for what they “bring to the table.” Some Christians feel they should observe the Sabbath on a Saturday, because in Israel Saturday is Sunday. I highly doubt though that we can track so far back as to remember what the first Sunday was. Sunday would go all over the place, wouldn’t it? What the original Sunday was could be a Monday right now.

The Baptists don’t emphasize the mother Mary as much as Catholics do. In fact no other religion does as much as them, to say the least. Jesus however told the disciples that his mother was their mother. “Behold: your mother,” he said. Some believe in an infant's baptism. Some believe it should be a choice and consciously entered into.

We can come into a misunderstanding easily. Things are not always as they seem. They have a meaning missed. So it is always good to see a few opinions on what a verse is trying to say. Sometimes we are only left with ourselves in knowing what a thing means. We might have a difficult time coming to an understanding and cannot find our answers elsewhere. That happens. The context always helps. It puts it into the right perspective and sometimes that context is found elsewhere, so reference books or software is good to have and can be a lot of help. So can a translation book or software which translates every word. Knowing biblical history also helps. Those customs they had, how they did things, where their culture and mind was at, all help in fully understanding the Bible. Finally, you can just use every translation of the Bible. You might just need a certain word to know the meaning better. That word can be different for everyone. No one word is a perfect fit. Nor is the expression of it. The King James version of the Bible is one where people led different lives, said things differently, had different ways of expressing themselves and so on. For most part you can still see what they mean. The thing is even inspired by God. The best King James bibles though have bottom text that translates easily mistaken context.

Christian Enough

Anti sin can become a problem. We begin to doubt ourselves that way. We feel insufficient towards God that way. We might even come to believe we cannot have any good thing. We should not come to the point where we are stripping every good thing from life because “it is sin, it is not doing without, it interferes with spiritual things, the flesh is evil,” and so on. Once a Chrisitan is well enough, once they are redeemed and generally without sin, then there is no work needed for them. They can continue to get better a little, and they stay well. The Bible says:

15 Now all the tax collectors and sinners were coming close to him to hear him. 2 The Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, “This man welcomes sinners, and eats with them.”

3 He told them this parable. 4 “Which of you men, if you had one hundred sheep, and lost one of them, wouldn’t leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost, until he found it? 5 When he has found it, he carries it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 When he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ 7 I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance. 8 Or what woman, if she had ten drachma[a] coins, if she lost one drachma coin, wouldn’t light a lamp, sweep the house, and seek diligently until she found it? 9 When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the drachma which I had lost.’ 10 Even so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner repenting.”   Luke 15:1-10 World English Bible.

 The Current World Is Disgusting

The formula for so many things is: controversy, vulgarity, violence, harshness, perversion, dirty mouths, blasphemy, and iniquity. For the people creating things in this fashion there is a large audience. Nothing is off the table.

You can’t hear politicians talk anymore without hate and slander coming from them. Some of them act childish. They all talk to brick walls, one closed mind to another.

You can’t turn on the TV without seeing that  some horrible murder has happened. Mass slaughter sometimes. Murder that had no justification in any way. Against people who were not even their enemies, just done for their sick pleasure. People like those who throw large stones at cars cause that’s the thing they like to do. They can’t leave that off of their schedule today.

People take pictures of their food to post it online. They are constantly trying to break through as famous online with little to no success and are willing to whore themselves out for it in full. Lots of adults in today’s time have not even grown up. People have taken up problems they don’t need. They are always looking for a fight to fight. There was a time when philosophy meant something. Modern philosophy does not. It is based on strange current world ideologies that in the future will probably appear as weird, meaningless, and frankly insane.

People now are insane. Some are demon  possessed/ possessed by evil spirits and it shows. Not to list the kind that are on drugs that make them that way. With a flick of a switch they do some awful thing. They often just get themselves into trouble. They often dig themselves into a pit they can’t get out of. They are very well articulated when it comes to slander. They are verbally impoverished when it comes to speaking normally and saying kind things. Evil sides of things have always come with new accents and the identities behind them. For metal it is growling and for gangster things it is “yo bitch.”

Things are grotesque. They are deformed, twisted, and dead to me. I’d rather live in the past.

Accidents Happen, They Should Be Forgiven

6 Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? 2 Don’t you know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Don’t you know that we will judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? 4 If then you have to judge things pertaining to this life, do you set them to judge who are of no account in the assembly? 5 I say this to move you to shame. Isn’t there even one wise man among you who would be able to decide between his brothers? 6 But brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers! 7 Therefore it is already altogether a defect in you, that you have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded? 8 No, but you yourselves do wrong and defraud, and that against your brothers. 1 Corinthians 6:1-8 WEB.

Christians don’t sue. We all know just how bad and unreasonable lawsuits can get. Some mistake, whether foolish, a freak accident, or something beyond total control occurs and people will immediately sue over it. They get a grand amount of money too, an absurd amount. Taking millions of dollars from a person or entity damages society. It is greedy. It is harmful. It should not be done.

It is Christian to forgive. It should be understood that accidents happen on the road. No one is trying to cause a wreck. No one in their right mind anyway. One bad apple doesn’t mean that the rest are bad. The power to forgive is a great one. Violating a forgiving person’s intentions however is akin to blaspheming the Holy Spirit. That means when they are using such a thing against you. That is an instance where you no longer forgive them, for they have abused the fact and turned it against you. And it isn’t the same as turning the other cheek.

If some food goes bad, it comes bundled with salmonella, that is natural. If some unforeseen event occurs, a rare accident, that is just the nature of the world. We shouldn’t put the blame on others for our own mistakes either. If we were dumb regarding something then we should acknowledge that and not blame someone else for our mistake. Sure things should have warnings on them. This contains peanuts/ soy, this game should not be played by epileptic people, and so on. The rest is up to us.

Why The Old Testament Is Harsh

34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. Luke 23:34 KJV.

We were still living under sin. The power of Jesus had not yet entered into our lives. The power of our forgiveness and salvation were not yet our own. The Bible says that once we are saved, sins are no longer seen or regarded.

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. Hebrews 8:12 KJV.

That is a stark difference from what was before Jesus Christ. God saw sin in every living being before Jesus Christ. The animal sacrifices were not substantial enough. They could never blot out our ancestral transgressions or our personal ones. God so loved the world though, that He gave His only begotten son (John 3:16.) “That whosoever believes in him (His son) will have eternal life.”

That really explains it all: the old testament people were without Jesus Christ.

Insight Into The Mentally Ill And Mentally Disabled

They have just as much right to exist as everyone else. California recently rolled out a thing where they can more easily hospitalize (mental hospitalize) the homeless who are mentally ill. That was met with some objection and honestly I don’t even know if that is still going on. That is all that these people need however, sometimes, not all the time. When they do, though, they really do. It can turn their lives around. Some homeless people are not mentally ill (certainly not something like schizophrenic at least.) Those that are schizophrenic need to be on medication. These pills don’t “sedate you into being normal,” or “chemically lobotomize  people.” Those are common misconceptions. The symptoms they live with are paranoia, delusions, and hallucinations. Delusions for them are highly bizarre. Think ‘people online are communicating from hell. They are in a black hole talking to us on earth. The pocket radio can hear my thoughts.’ Medication for schizophrenia stops this kind of thinking. I know, I am schizophrenic myself.

I was homeless for a full year for no reason other than needing to get back on medication. I had gotten the thought though that the doctors were trying to poison me. I was grandiose thinking they were trying to take the reality from me that I was destined to become a king. I had been on social security income since I was 19 years old. I was getting my income on a special card. I used that card at a store which had a data breach. So the government canceled my card and reissued a new one.. To my address in Albuquerque. The problem was, I was in San Francisco by then. I had taken what money I had left and took a greyhound bus there (here.) After I tried using my card it wouldn’t work. I finally found out why (the whole store thing.) A homeless shelter told me to go to “general deliveries” to have my new card mailed to me. That is a post office thing for the homeless. I tried three, maybe four times to do just that. I called the 1-888 number to have it mailed. After the third or fourth failure I gave up and ended up homeless, insane frankly, not to get placed back onto treatment for a year's time. Now? I live in a nice hotel. I have everything I could need. I take my medication. I do my bloodwork to be sure of its safety (as the one I am on requires) once every three weeks. My life is back to normal. No longer roaming the streets yelling crazy things and thinking crazy things through and through. A pill does that for me.

I can tell you there is nothing more miserable.. The cold, trash can food, not to mention the mental problems that accompanied it all.

The Beatitudes

Blessed are the meek [quiet, gentle, and easily imposed on] for they shall inherit the earth.

Are you the kind of person that always wants to be on good terms with others? Some are just the opposite, they would go around all day causing trouble. Jesus gave us the comforting words (as shown above) that people who are “softies” will have earth itself. I act like a pushover but I don’t feel like one. I won’t let an argument stand. I don’t want to be the pain of another. I want to peacefully coexist and when I do get into any little argument I would amend it. As a result it makes me someone perhaps too easy to take from but the Bible assures me that these sorts of things are not only worth it but desirable.

Blessed are the poor in spirit [people who acknowledge their own spiritual poverty]  for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. People who want more spirituality around them, who feel like it isn’t enough and they themselves don't have enough, are “poor in spirit.” Being poor in spirit means you undervalue yourself. It means you feel insignificant. It means you don’t feel good enough. As the Bible says here, such people belong in Heaven. Heaven is not for arrogant people. It is for the humble.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name have done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:21-23 KJV

Blessed are those who mourn [over any wrongdoing they are at fault for], for they shall be comforted [forgiven. Restored by God’s grace.]   God wants what is best for us. We will find comfort after our penalty is paid and we can move forward and beyond it.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [God’s will], for they will be filled [nourished by it.] God would have us have it and it is a good thing to have. It is a greater nourishment. It is beyond fleshy nourishment.   13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. John 4:13-14 KJV. Doing God’s will makes us complete and full beyond “bread alone.” “Man cannot live on bread alone. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4.

Blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy. When you go too far in harming others, you will receive a harsher punishment. The worse you treat others the worse they will treat you. The more wrong you do the higher the penalty you will pay.

Blessed are the pure in heart [innocent, as a child, untainted, honest, and all loving] , for they shall see God. God is love and when love is seen God is seen.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the sons of God [will be known as coming from God.] They are princes.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the  prophets which were before you. The Bible shows that those who did the will of God did so bravely, and succeeded, even when the world was against them.

The Best Christians Have Far To Fall

A great Christian can become a highly iniquitous person if things were ever to reverse. If they follow after temptation too far then that could happen. Being fully enveloped in good can produce the opposite at the turn of a coin. It may be caused by Christians who are lured into sinful things, towards power and such things. Lots of Christians have gone the perfectly wrong way just by being attracted to magic. They might think such things as they’ll only try it, keep it white magic perhaps. The Devil wants the purest Christians. He would put the world itself before us. Even if it is just a chance at diverting their beliefs he would bring them into fame and riches. Often the worst Satanists were once highly Christian. They know all too well the side they’d become, when they do, and so they become it in full. That is the extreme case of things.

There has never been a money maker so great as Christianity is. You gather a hundred people in a church and live the rest of your life out of teaching the bible. Some pastors are good pastors. Others are con artists. Some great pastors come into wealth that they would hold to thinking that God has blessed them, blessed them enough to live the rest of their lives frivolously.

A person who grows up going to church and grows up fully invested in being Christian may during their late teenage years have too many other things to care about. By their early adult years they are more atheist than Christian. They may not think much about it in those years. Then some sort of thing falls on their lap. It is usually a sudden epiphany that comes to them. Then they are fully into the faith again, even more so than ever. It is a swim or sink thing. They might go on being a Christian again for the rest of their lives or they may drop out of it again, with all energy for it gone, spent.

Then we get to old age and go back to it. Besides, we are starting to realize just how finite life is. We return to Church. We live for heaven, which draws closer every day. We find our faith the best part of our life and know it to have our greater future in store for us.

Just as strong as it left is how strong it can return, too, so, you may have fallen hard (fallen light just the same) but ascend greatly and easily. It might only take one little thing, some little thing someone said, some kind of urge that sneaks up on you, that brings you back to Christianity. That can be a very powerful feeling, as from the Holy Spirit.

Things About Jesus Christ And Some Apologetics

Jesus had a way of speaking calm and rationally. He had a way of being calm and rational. He knew just what to say and so he said it. He in fact had excellent articulation. Some things bothered him but he would never go around hurting anyone. He made his point known sometimes but never made a fool out of himself. People tried to make a fool out of him but were brought to shame. He knew what he meant and meant what he had to say. He was a speaker of pure truth. No lies came from him. His knowledge and wisdom exceeded his contemporaries. People either loved or hated what he had to say depending on where their heart was. He was The Lamb of God.

It was his lot to sum up the Old Testament within him. The Old Testament spoke of him and his promise. Jesus can be seen in all of it. We know that Jesus was crucified. Lots don’t know that Jesus went into the grave to free the old saints, not just the living and the future life who believes in him. That was retrograde you could say.

Jesus said things that most people would take as sheer grandiosity, which came true. He said the whole world will come to know the gospel. He said that the gospel will be taught to the entire world and it did. So when he said he is leaving to return to heaven as a king, then back to earth as one that inherits his kingdom, I believe it! You can’t ignore the magnitude of Christianity and the prevalence of his words. Nothing has inspired so much. Nothing has become so well known, used, appreciated, loved, hated, or whatever else, as the gospel. These were not words of a mere man.

Believing in God is not like believing in Zeus. There are no silly stories to tell such as from things like rain gods and the reason it rains (as based on a story.) It isn’t like some Pagan belief that “it becomes winter because a god has to be sealed away at that time.” There are stories in the Bible but they are all reasonable, unlike those in ages old myths. You won’t find Oddysey like stuff in the Bible. You hear of a giant but not a cyclops or a kraken in the sea. There is no medusa with her snake hair turning warriors into stone. Those sorts of things are not found in the bible.

Just a holy trinity. A creator God. His angels. His Heavenly Kingdom. And the greatest power bestowed on our great creator. That power far exceeds our own. Just think about how limited in intelligence animals are to us. Just think of how advanced artificial intelligence may be over us. Intelligence above intelligence, to angels, with the greatest intelligence belonging to God. I think that “time” is nothing but processing. To go off into that moment, things only take as much time as they need to process. We process thoughts slowly. AI processes them incredibly quicker. God processes them quickest of all. God’s thinking is both quick and full. Though He thinks so quickly, He fully grasps it all. This may seem impossible with us, but is not with Him. We are mere little creatures with minds simply too primitive to compare to His own.

That is my reason for things like “how can God know all and all at once?”

If that seems unfathomable, to have thinking so great, then just look to outer space to see something that is also unfathomable. In complexity and size we only need to go a short distance in space before it goes beyond our comprehension. I mean a solar system is one thing, but a galaxy? (There are between 100 and 200 billion of them according to google.)

The universe itself is magnificent. Earth is especially magnificent. I had a teacher that said the moon looks the same size as the sun because of an exact mathematical calculation. That would be distance plus actual size of course. I think that thinking these things were just made by chemical voodoo is a misvaluation. To me it goes against my common sense to think that these things came about spuriously, even if it was a billion year process. In my eyes things are just too greatly made. Things all have their meaning and purpose. Our very existence is the most incredible of things. That we exist, yet we may not, but do, is unfathomable. We have a wrong conception of the spirit. When we want to depict it we depict things like ghosts. We put a physical representation to it. When you plug the refrigerator back in it says, “where did I go?” In the future are we going to be riding in space boats? We could put on some VR with things like touch sensors making it just as real, without leaving earth.

Which brings me to my next point. This shows how things are possible even when we can’t conceive them. It shows that the impossible is possible. If we went back in time two hundred years and put our tech on display, how would those past people regard it? What would they think of a silly CD player? A TV and video game console, or whatever else it is? The only explanation they could have of it is ‘it’s sorcery.’ Believe me it all goes far beyond just a thing or two. Look at the things in your room to get a better idea. The only things in there they could explain is your bed and furniture.

Then the same can happen to us! If someone two hundred years from now came to us and showed us what they had, what would we think of those things? Would they be recognizable? Would we not right then and there think they are gods?

Then to the final point: angels (heavenly beings) are advanced billions of years more. They’ve stepped out of the concept of time and space. The greatest things have been accomplished. If aliens found us (aliens know us very well, they are what they used to call angels) they would not come on equal footing. We would not be nearly as advanced as they are. We would not “have happened” to be in the same one or two hundred year scope as they are. They have been evolving for untold sums of time.

I have to ask that if they can believe in multiverses, dark matter, fusion energy, simulated gravity, warp speed, and such things, then why can’t they believe in a creator God? That’s the one thing that is off the table. It is because on a personal level they think that Christians are superstitious nuts and they don’t want to be one of them.

Doesn’t love mean anything? Doesn’t a rose mean anything? Don’t our childhood joys mean anything? Doesn’t the fall weather mean anything? Doesn’t our celebrations in life mean anything? Doesn’t our existence have a meaning and purpose?

Christian Grandiosity

As God’s children, we would be at fault to think that we were better than anyone else. When we pray we pray for each other, not only for ourselves. The Lord’s Prayer is a very “we” and “us” thing. We should avoid thoughts that tell us we are better than other Chrisitans and have some sort of greater destiny than other Christians. Those thoughts lead to cults and not properly identifying yourself as you should. Your place in this world is among all the others in it. “We are all in this boat together.”

They call them “bling” preachers when they show off their gold. That is a total sin when a preacher takes money from their congregation and spends it on gold, jewelry, and the nicest of clothing. They have to explain to the tax collector why they need such expensive things, and usually win in the name of religious rights. It isn’t right with God, however. If a Church is not helping a community but only paying its clergy then it is not doing what it was meant for.

Some Christian grandiosity comes from people thinking they are Jesus, but we’ve already discussed that.

Other Christian grandiosity comes from the “wrath of God” kind. They think that if the scripture isn’t followed to the letter then their detractors will go to hell. Their quarry doesn’t even have to be going against scripture in any real sense. They just take any enemy and claim God is against them. They feel that God is with them and not with others. The others are just always damned and insubstantial and this and that. They commit some dumb crimes then tell the police they are going to hell and that the judge is going to hell because “God is my judge, not you.”

Some preachers are in it for the power trip it incurs. Being passionate is not always a bad thing. Being motivational isn’t, unless they start saying this person and that person should die. When they start to incorporate death wishes against certain people and certain kinds of people (like gay people for example) then they are doing wrong.

How Fragile This Life Is

We are in a death sentence in a way. Maybe the rapture will parole us. Apart from that, we all die, every last one of us. The world lies to us. It was built upon a lie. No matter how good we are we still have ancestral sin. We are a far weaker race than we know. Our bodies are highly subject to death. We barely grasp our consciousness. We are barely “there.” We can fall prey in many ways. If we are lucky we live to middle age. Life is a fragile thing. Knowing so however can bring some relief, because we should not depend too much on life but instead put our focus on the life to come. In a sense we are only holding on to a bad thing.

People Who Act Childishly

I have seen grown men and women who seem to have gone from being a child to being a child teenager to being a child adult. Really then they were never teenagers and never an adult. They act erratically. They throw fits and tantrums. They cannot tolerate simple things. They’ll lash out at you if you suggest anything at all to them that goes against what they are accustomed to. In all of the generations that have been, this new generation (made up of my age and people in their 30s) has never been so childish.

They continue playing with toys. They want to live at home. They won’t work. They use college as a career. They are self centered as the modern world would have them be (such as through modern psychology.) Are all in one “special” but for no reason. They take on mental illness identities, and are in love with labels like that. Sometimes they go onto video channels with animal costumes on.

They aren’t emotionally well because their minds have not matured. It is like some biological phenomenon where their minds have not grown correctly. They are susceptible to rage which is a sure sign of mental damage. Indeed they are like possessed people in many cases. They are zombie-like in certain ways. They don’t have the light of life within them like we do. So they go around in mad and bizarre ways not fully grasping what life is, instead living in a kind of animal state.

Fortunately we are not all that way. Christians have never been so stable a people compared to the rest of the world. We see and know life for what it is. We have a strong spirit and soul within us. We aren’t falling prey to this bizarre phenomenon of the day. Among other people we are doing exceptionally well, in fact. Let’s keep things that way by being mature, grown, spiritually self disciplined, and good God obeying Christians.

Evil Fails Completely And Spectacularly, While Truth Prevails

The only thing that continues on forever is The Truth. Evil things are made up of lies. Evil things can only exist through deception. Evil has to hide and it cannot hide forever. Evil has to cover things up. Evil has to disguise itself. Evil has to force itself to be believed through falsehoods. Evil has to have power behind it to exist. The truth is a greater thing which overcomes it in the end, relentlessly making its way through. The foundation of truth is a most pleasing and satisfactory thing. Evil only grows more and more sour while truth is forever sweet. We are not nourished by evil. It pains our stomach. We starve for the truth and ever more greatly seek to fill ourselves with it.

Having Some Fun, What’s Wrong With That?

There’s nothing wrong with having joy in your life. It isn’t being anti-spiritual and worldly or whatever misconstrued scripture would have it mean. I always say a happy child becomes a happy adult. One of the things I most enjoyed growing up was the skating rink which I normally went to on my birthday. My parents really loved me! When I was eight we went to a church camp in the Colorado mountains. The trees, the moss, the rivers, the lake with the mysteries of it, were all incredible to me as a child. I smelled the forest and it was all a beautiful thing before my eyes. I cannot understate it. Making a child happy is true happiness unlike anything an adult can ever experience.

I was raised very Christian but cartoons and video games were not kept from me. We should never take things from children in God’s name, if all they do is bring them some happiness. I would have probably gotten into more trouble with gang like things if I wasn’t at home on video games. It is like the first line in the Legend of Zelda. The sage gives you a (pretend) sword and says “it is dangerous to go alone, take this.”

If it isn’t a real sin, one obstructive and harmful most of all, then there is no need to split hairs. If it doesn’t harm you then it doesn’t harm you. If you want a little wine, then why not. If you are just unable to stop smoking then that doesn’t make you a bad person. People on drugs are not bad people. In fact the Bible would probably say they are weak, and deserving of better things, so they should be cared for. We are more victims of sin than we are sinners and “bad” people, most of the time. I mean, there are bad people out there, truly. They give drugs to kids. They are perverted, insane, and psychotic. For the most part however people are good people. I would say that the good are easily the majority. “God hates the sin, not the sinner.”

The church that I first went to, when I was six, maybe seven years old until I was eleven, gave us special baskets of treats and toys during Christmas. One of them I will always remember had a water flute. A water flute uses water inside it in a way that makes a very neat sound. It almost sounds perfectly bird-like. A “coo” like a dove. I was going to a Catholic church for a while just for its classical music performances, usually a duo or trio of musicians. One on piano, another on cello, a flute maybe, and things like that. I think that is a good thing for any church: to draw in new members with things besides, things like a breakfast on Sunday morning (coffee and donuts) lends to its success.

Christians all too often think they should live deprived lives, like those of spiritualists. I’ve been there myself before. It is kind of confusing. You know God wants good things for you yet there is a side saying to you that He doesn’t. He does want the best for you. He wants the poor to have good things (to be at your level.) He doesn’t want to take you down a few notches. That is just a silly circle. Give to the poor (me) now I am not poor (I’ll make myself poor again) give again to the poor (me…)

To Be Involved Or Not To Be Involved

The early Chrisitans were always on the run from the law. They were soft hearted renegades. The whole world would hunt them down. Just as the Pharisees thought ‘Jesus must be stopped (he is ruining what is good for us, he makes himself out as better than us),’ did not end with his crucifixion. It was only getting started. They knew they had trouble in their hands. They said to put a great stone to seal up his tomb. That was easily removed by an angel however. Jesus walked the earth for 40 days more. Oh they greatly detested such a powerful movement. By the way it was made, through the words of God’s very son, attempts to stop it were just counter-productive. They were willing to pay their lives to teach and spread the gospel and so did those they reached. The governments were left with nothing more to do than to incorporate it all into government. Constantine was a Roman emperor and Christian in those times. Things led to catholicism, to a Pope, the successor of Saint Peter. The governments of the known world brought about a Christian State. The world to become known was largely motivated by teaching the gospel. It is an extraordinary legacy. The Church remained in power up until recently. Now it is bombarded. It is looked down on. It is entirely disbelieved by many. Satan has entered the earth just as the Bible said he would.

My point is, the days of us being honored are gone. They don’t like us. They don’t want us around. They disagree with us in every way. Yet there are still preachers who believe that what they say is honored by one and all. Not by one and all. Not by most. Our presence on earth has been greatly minimized. Our influence has greatly dwindled. We were spoiled for so long. The whole world based things on scripture. That isn’t so any more and we have to keep that in mind.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. Matthew 7:6. KJV

This means that if you offer the gospel to bad people they will hate you for it. They’d detest you for thinking they need any change in who they are and what they believe. They’d take what you have to offer and be vocal against it. They’d tear it to shreds among others.

And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Matthew 10:14 KJV

Christians are meant to be brave. If we are living in the end of days then we will have the greatest of challenges ahead of us. That is the time of the unholy trinity. That is, The Beast, The False Prophet, and The Devil. The Devil’s angels are brought into all of it too. In those times, if anyone does not worship the beast and his image, they cannot buy and sell.

15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Revelation 13:15-20. KJV

If we worship the Beast we are damned. We can buy and sell, but in the end we are damned. His rule will not even be for very long, just three and a half years. In the meantime that challenge is set before us.

Being Christian does not mean that life goes perfectly for us. Jesus said that people will hate us just for being who we are but to “keep the faith.” Those that keep it despite the worst things are saved. “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” Matthew 24:13 KJV.

First, Jesus Christ did not walk away from his destiny. He could have. He had the power to. He had all the power of Heaven behind him. But like a lamb he gave his life to give us life. The disciples were persecuted, hunted down, captured, and executed. Jesus said that those who continue being Christian despite persecution will receive the greatest reward in Heaven. Let that bring you happiness, he said. They used to make a mockery out of the first of Christians by throwing them into the Roman colosseum with lions to tear them apart. Maybe it was like the Devil’s food or maybe they really were aware of Daniel in the lion’s den (God led Daniel safely through a den of lions that he was put into.)

The Devil knew what was going on. He probably thought things were going perfectly well for him with nothing that could change that. Since then he has tried his best to harm us Christians and our establishments on the earth. He would have a poor picture painted of us. He would make up Islam to counter us. He’d truly have us go off course with Mormonism (Latter Day Saints as they call themselves.) He would use every trick in the book. He would gather as many souls as possible to join him in hell. That is about all he has left to do, damn as many people as possible.

He has only himself to blame. From the start he damned humans to spite God. The earth belonged to Satan. It still does for now. He would purge all of us from it. Things will not be so easy. He created his own problem: the necessary emergence of Jesus Christ into the world. Now God’s kingdom will be brought into the world while Satan is cast into hell. For the time being though, the earth still belongs to “the prince of this world” and he would do all he can to drive us out of it.

Being An Honorable Person

I don’t know about you, but I feel ashamed when I don’t tip. I kind of want to keep the money. Am a little cheap that way. Usually I am low on money when I decide not to. Then again all the waiter or waitress may have done was put my plate in front of me. Does handing someone a plate and scribbling on a paper really deserve five dollars? I mean certainly after getting coffee after coffee does. By comparison a delivery driver deserves an okay tip. All of that carrying around, driving around, looking for your place, it would be shameful to leave them empty handed. Christians think of these things. Some people are just outright cheap. I thoroughly cleaned the apartments and homes I left. Nearly every time though the landlord did not give me back my security deposit back. You know why? It’s because they spent it. I don’t fool myself into thinking they left a few hundred dollars saved up like that. Secondly, they knew I would have to take them to court to get it. So why not just take a chance on what the judge would say or that I would go to one at all? But I saw one of those landlords that did that at the grocery store a little later. He had shame written all over his face.

I have seen these interrogation videos before where they caught a killer and tried to obtain their confession. They start off comfortable enough. They act like “why am I even here” people. They might subtly try to have that question answered. After all, they “didn’t” do anything. ‘Why am I here?’ They are told, “we’ll get to that.” “First, answer (this) question and (that.)” Like “where were you on (this) night. The conversation goes on like that. Excuses are added to excuses. They had probably rehearsed it in their head a hundred times. They get more and more nervous. They sort of get wrapped up in a circle of logic that doesn’t serve them well. They are trying harder and harder to make their lies be believed. Little by little the truth comes out. Then in the end, after a few hours, they basically slam their fists on the table and declare “It was me! I did it!”

It’s like they say: honesty is the best policy. At least you would have the truth on your side. To come clean with a thing is in a person’s favor.

Some people just do not care. They make commercials that make you believe they are on your side (whoever you are, whatever we belong to, and so on.) But what does products even have to do with those things? They are perfectly fine with making products that appear good. Then they come to your home and you find they are just total junk. They break within a few days. They’d trick you into thinking that their aspirin is better aspirin. They do things half heartedly knowing it will pass the test and gain them a few easy dollars. They make the worst video game you can imagine but publish them anyway. I was a kid at one time playing those crap fest games. They wasted my whole weekend.

They’d throw you out of a home that you lived in for decades, even when you are now old. They want a little more money that you can pay. Likewise they’d fire you if you were not there for optimal reasons even though you worked with the company all of your life. They say that show business is business and will drop you at the turn of a dime. They’d never give you the raises you deserve. Like in the movie “Christmas vacation” they promise you a grand bonus but leave you with the cheapest sort of crap possible. I could never be in those professions (a boss, landlord) and do people the same way.

On the other hand I had a friend that would write notes to a Christian landlord “please forgive me for not being able to pay rent. In God’s name let me stay.” As for him he wasn’t any Christian and had a drug habit that was out of control.

There are people being gravely harmed sometimes while a person is just on a phone recording it or else “too busy” to help. A recent example I have seen was of a person that was being stalked. She went into a restaurant and begged the workers to help. The guy followed her in and assaulted her. All the while the people working there considered her a nuisance or something and refused to call the police! That was something that really happened and it is indicative of what people have become. “If it isn’t being done to me then why should I care?” That is a mentality that is very harmful to society itself.

One very shameful thing comes from those who are totally willing and able to date a married person. They both dishonor a person’s marriage. There are plenty of people out there who just don’t care in any way that the person is married. Marriage doesn't mean anything to them. Why would a marriage that isn’t done under God matter? To them, it is just an institution without a religious basis. They take pleasure in the forbidden fruit aspect of it.

Cigarettes are another example. I used to think ‘so what, they advertise.’ Or they used to. I thought ‘isn’t that free speech to let them?’ Then I actually took a look at these old commercials and saw they were very liberally marketing to kids. The kind of advertising that posed it as an adult thing to do, something that a man does, within cartoons. They dismissed any negative health effects from it too. They are highly addictive. I have that addiction. I think they shouldn’t be so hard on vaping however. I would have switched to vaping a long time ago if they did not outlaw them in San Francisco.

We should live honest lives. If we know that how we treat others is unfair then we should not treat them that way. We should not let people have to fend for themselves if all it takes is a little bit of our help to fix things for them. We should do good and honest work on what we create over providing junk and passing it off as treasure. We should never rob a person of what they have earned. We should have at least a little respect for everybody. We should not cheat anyone by taking things from them that we do not deserve and what we have not earned. We should live more honorable lives than that. We should keep our promises, too.

The Greatest Degree Of…

Work ethics– Comes with being comfortable with your job. Comes with being good and dedicated to your job. Comes with satisfaction over it.

Morality- You would not do a person wrong. Your consciousness won’t let you do bad things to people. You have people’s best interest at heart. You cannot do bad things.

Being Giving– You don’t mind the money it takes. You are happy to give gifts. You are happy to help others. The money it takes does not bother you. In fact you feel it is money best spent.

Helping– You don’t feel like it is a chore. It brings you happiness to help others. You just want better for those who do not have things as good as you do.

No need of repentance– You don’t do anyone any wrong. You are all around polite and peacekeeping. You don’t have any “skeletons in the closet.” You don’t have anything to be blamed for, are blameless. You don’t have the kinds of sin that hurts you and others. You are very faithful and pray to God often. You occasionally read the Bible.

Responsibility– You pay for the things you need instead of wasting your money on what you don’t really need. You “put food on the table,” if you have children then they are provided for as much as they should be. You don’t do things at work that would have you fired. You stay out of trouble.

Faithfulness– The world and the things in it do not distract you from God. You pray often. You read the Bible. You might worry less about the here and now. You go to church. You are always eager to learn more about the Bible. You don’t act as sinners act but are a righteous person.

Being Christian– You are able to do the more difficult things that Jesus asked from you. Things like loving your enemy and turning the other cheek. You are a forgiving person. You live a moral life. You don’t even use curse words. You don’t go along with the world and what it is doing. You know the New Testament very well and follow it entirely.

Making a great thing– You will not pass a cheap product off as one with high quality. You are dedicated to getting things just right. You have the right team behind you, you would not have otherwise. You make sure your product is a good one before it goes out on market.

Philanthropy– You care about the suffering of others and want to do something about it. You feel empathetic, sympathetic, or at least have understanding towards those less fortunate. You donate what you can towards those ends. You believe in human rights and human decency. You feel it is intolerable when heinous things occur to innocent people.

Healthy lifestyles– You do not overeat. You exercise regularly. You don’t smoke, drink, or do drugs. You get lots of rest. You have minimal stress, worry, and anxiety. You are not depressed. These are a challenge to have but that is the greatest degree of being healthy.

Doing right– You have nothing to cover up. You have no plots and no conspiracy. You are fair towards others. You are not a troublemaker. You don’t associate with bad people. You admit wrong doing and try to make things right. You are law and rule abiding.

Doing God’s will– You are a peacekeeper. You bring and want love to be in the world. You have faith in God. You don’t cheat or steal. you follow the ten commandments. You don’t slander others. You are good towards other people. You don’t have hate in your heart.

Spirituality– You can see beyond the physical things of your existence. It is not hindered by materialism. You have the Holy Spirit within you. You act on it accordingly. You see beyond the current life living for the next. You have a substantial amount of faith. You have a lot of control over your physical body.

The Ten Pillars Of Human Rights

One– No Cruelty. This goes over a broad amount of things. If it is cruel then it should not exist in the world, it is that simple. That means no torture, extraordinarily harsh punishment, using chemical weapons, and sadistically wrought pain upon another.

Two– No harm to the innocent. Some governments (dictatorships) would execute not only the person who committed the crime but their whole family along with them. We must be sure that innocent people get by in life without being harmed or locked up (for doing nothing wrong.) People shouldn’t be bothered by the police for any reason if they are not doing anything wrong. Interaction between the police and people should be minimized. Unless they are sure of having done something that really did violate the law then they should not be bothered. False charges must be taken most seriously. The innocent should be more able to go about freely and have more rights as long as they are more responsible than others.

Three– No tolerance for war crimes. A war criminal is worse than a serial killer. A war criminal is worse than a civilian mass murderer. They kill many more and kill just because they think the other nation and its citizens should not exist. That is genocide. As for me, my heart breaks each time I turn on the news to see that a whole apartment complex was bombed (by a certain contemporary nation) killing a person’s family, leaving them with nothing, all because the leader of the other nation felt some insult from them and he hated them.

Four– These certain freedoms for all: The right of self defense should be taken more seriously. In a world of spoiled kids the only discipline that can come comes from a person who will not tolerate it. Evil people should not be allowed to harm innocent people without any repercussions. Being entirely “united” is just not possible. In San Francisco, where I live, the Tenderloin neighborhood is full of drug addicts. Do I mind? I really don’t care. I don’t live in that neighborhood. If they are all agreed to be doing drugs over there then that is just their little space. It is the community that they created for themselves over there, so whatever. Maybe it is better they are seen instead of driving them all into hiding like brushing something under the rug. My point is that people should all have a place of their own. We should have the right to say what we want to as long as we are not making very real threats. Should people have the right to get up into another’s face and scare them to death with yelling and cursing? I don’t think so. I think it is perfectly self defense to do something about that. Besides, maybe they’d have nicer things to say in the future if it wasn’t tolerated.

Five– No enslavement. If we need slaves we should be inventing androids and robots or something. Slavery comes in certain forms. There is the outright kind where people become total property. Then there is the kind where people are put into debt they cannot get out of. Then there are those making riches out of miners who barely get by day by day. There are labor camps for those imprisoned. They live everyday working, sometimes rather harshly. In any case, slavery should not be allowed in the world.

Six– To live free. Being unbothered! Wouldn’t that be nice? We are tied down by regulations. Everything needs a dumb process when all we want to do is create or use something. People should be taken as more competent than they are thought to be. People should generally leave each other alone. In Eastern countries people could go sit on a mountain and basically live there without being bothered. The holmes were not so bothered. If our homeless put up a tent in some discreet and out of the way place they’d still be told to tear it down eventually. That goes again with my idea of “a place for everyone.” The housing standards are too high! If we give them a mini home we have to give them sewer and everything else too. We shouldn’t be bothered by propaganda either. I mean, no wonder why we are so stressed out. “Do this, don’t do that, this is healthy, wait it isn’t, can’t sleep my eight hours, this is going to kill me,” Is hammered into our brains endlessly. The ironic thing is that stress is about the least healthy thing you can have. It is mentally and physically harmful. Two years after my uncle quit smoking he died from a stroke after filling up an air mattress with his mouth. We never know when we are going to go. A Christian is more around for the ride. Let us stop and smell the roses. Let us eat well without being bothered by what we put into our mouths. I mean, with some reservation, but certainly not according to strict science. I am just talking here about the general idea of being free, free like a bird, instead of caged, hindered, inhibited, regulated out, like a rat.

Seven– To be protected. That must have been the original purpose for the government and kings. That we had people who would protect us. A whole society can fall. It can happen after anarchy. Anarchy cannot stand however because we need people to protect us and our loved ones. So we put those in power that will do so. There is a scary thing happening in America today. The people are demanding that others go to jail even after government officials deemed them innocent (they were defending themselves, most often.) They go on these angry protests and scare the politicians into punishing them and their reasoning that they should not be charged is invalidated. So in effect a person cannot be sure if they are allowed to protect themselves. The very thing carries over to the police. So the police are afraid to protect themselves as well.

Eight– Scientific and technological progress. Because that would do a lot of good. I am talking about developing it for philanthropic purposes here. The kinds of things we need to reduce human suffering. That over things like ever greater smartphones. Science and tech can fix a lot of our problems if we direct it to. It could feed the hungry if we figure out faster food production things. It can protect us and reduce crimes with something such as AI cameras. Those cameras would know who everyone is, it is that simple. It could lessen our burden of labor. It could house the homeless by making drones and 3D printers that do all of the work itself. Those are the kinds of scientific and technological advances we need.

Nine– Universal Basic Income. This is not yet entirely feasible but may be soon. Certain science and tech is needed before then. For example, fusion energy. For example, androids that are good at doing work. We need to collect our resources better and accumulate them better before then. Our resources need to grow. There are just a few things we need before that time. When it gets here then everyone can be sure to have a home and food and basic things. If they choose to work after that then they can continue to, and have yet more.

Ten– The right to be alone and the encouragement to be alone. This is the odd ball out of the group but I feel it is worth placing here. Criminals can learn better in prison if they are allowed to be alone and think. People could stay out of a lot of trouble by not getting into bad groups. There is a thing that I believe is occurring which I call an “ isosociety .” The two words there are isolated and society, an “isolated society.” More and more we have all we need in our homes and not enough outside them. They used to say “go get some sunshine,” “go to the park,” but can we really have pleasure anymore in things like trees? People used to live in caves. Oh how far that is from the truth now. Things are where we can have anything delivered. It may be drones and driverless vehicles doing it soon. Socializing has been made more possible and realistic without leaving the home. Things like augmented reality are sure to enhance that. When universal basic income comes, and I believe it will, then all the more, people will remain in their homes. Personally I don’t see it as a bad thing.

Is God Having Us Prepare Things For His Coming?

I mean this in a way of human creations: movies, shows, video games, internet, books, and all else. I believe that heaven will be like earth only with God here. That our lives otherwise will be the same. That is my common sense telling me so. We are not going to be standing on clouds playing harps. God’s kingdom will be on Earth. God created this Earth. So we will have Earthly things. It is my theory that God has sped up the way we create things so we will have lots of things when that time comes. The internet sums up our knowledge. It makes a market out of every past thing, all of it able to be gotten with the right sum of money. I believe in heaven we will have universal basic income as well. I think He will give us greater knowledge over science and technology with the help of His angels.

I consider it a time of creating and gathering. We made these things. I do not believe that God will take them from our hands. A father doesn’t just throw away his child’s things. He knows we love these things and spent a lot of time and work on them. He wouldn’t cause us to be empty headed creatures by not allowing us to have them. Wouldn’t we be empty headed without the things we created and without the ability to continue to create? Those are all perfectly good reasons to believe that our life on Earth will be much the same. He is not going to take us from our loved ones. We will have our family and loved ones back. Jesus had a friend (Lazarus.)

So it is like “get all of your best things together.” It is now time to have and create and those things will always be with us. Some of them brand new, some evolved, some redone, others added unto. We will be bringing a lot with us into heaven, just as it was meant to be. These recent years have seen a rapid growth of it.

The Seven Pillars Of Christianity

Doing God’s Will– The Bible lets that will be known. God doesn’t want one human being to harm another. God wants us to believe and trust in Him. He wants our faith. He wants bravery in His name. He wants us to put Him first.

Love– It is said to be the greatest commandment for Chrisitans. This means having a positive understanding of others. It means being kind. It means being without hate.

Forgiveness– Although some are deserving of punishment, even severe punishment for those who abuse others, we should generally be forgiving of things like arguments and personal disputes. With the measure we forgive we are forgiven.

Morality– We do not let sin enter into our lives which could harm us. We don’t do bad things to other people. We live without sordid habits. We live without perversion and aggression.

Philanthropy– We want the best for the world. We want better things for those who hunger, are homeless, are in pain, suffer, and have bad things being done to them. We help as much as we can.

Faith– We put our trust in God. We don’t allow others to get in the way of that. We know that our better future is in store. We live for the life to come. We know that acting on God’s will is never a bad thing. We know that faith is a powerful thing.

Living well– We try to lead blameless lives. We are law abiding. We are mature. We are self disciplined. We are people with values and virtues to live by.

Learning To Blame Less

Humans are creatures of blame going back to Adam and Eve. They’d do anything to get out of trouble. I’m not talking about all of us but it is worse with some over others.

I ordered something online not long ago which never arrived (.) Just never got here. It had tracking on it. The driver was tracked. When it said that I was the next delivery a long time passed, then suddenly the vehicle was on the far south side of town, miles and miles away, and said “delivered.” I never got it. I just let it go. I have learned to let a lot go. I prefer to not have emotions that I consider painful. I don’t know if the driver just took it or what happened and couldn’t assume either, but it doesn’t matter to me.

These workers came in to clean my place a few months ago. They were hired for that. After they were done I entered my room and looked to see if anything was missing. I couldn’t find my tablet anywhere. I thought for sure it was taken. I even considered reporting it as stolen. I knew just enough better to not to. After all, you shouldn’t make such a claim without being 100 percent certain and I wasn’t. Then yesterday I was looking for some old video game controllers of mine and remembered I had them in a box tucked away under a table. It was right there, my tablet. I thought to myself I was so glad I didn’t accuse anyone of anything. That is a common blame from people: they stole my stuff. Like this thing I saw on the news. This lady left her phone in the bathroom. Outside the bathroom she couldn’t find it. So she blamed the person nearest to her. “Where’s my damn phone? I know you took it!” She went off into a rant against him and then this lady came up to her from the bathroom and said “you left this in the bathroom.” And she fervently apologized to him.

We sometimes get into thoughts that we are being sabotaged. That we are kept from our potential in some form or fashion. That’s a paranoid kind of way we blame people. If our ego is weak then we accuse them of cheating. We might even feel the world itself is cheating us even when it gives us every opportunity. We don’t see the problem is inside of us. That we do have means to grow, to live better, in better places, with better things, just like everyone else. We might not be able to be first or second but maybe we can be in the top ten. Some people in life will like you and others will not. At least some do, however. There is more to be said about turning your enemies into your admirers. Only people who are greatly jealous of you would want you to fail. Doesn’t matter most of the time because most of the time they have no power to do so.

Unfortunately in a wicked world we have to worry about people who would falsely blame you. That is blaspheming the Holy spirit when you make a lie about a good person in order to have them punished. Were it not for some of these peoples cell phone cameras they may have ended up in jail over some false accuser. The very meaning of the name Satan is “The Accuser.” It takes an evil and heartless person to lie about another in order to send them to prison, because they offended them, and sometimes for no reason at all except maybe some sadistic nature of theirs.

We live in a Karen world. Karen is a modern term for people who are petty and try to have others punished. They throw fits when things don’t go their way then threaten to call the police. They broke the law of not kissing up to their demands. They broke the law of not satisfactory addressing their unreasonable concerns. Or they just want to use the police to punish them for making them angry but that can only be done by lying. At least some of the time it is them who end up being arrested.

Some people would complain in every way possible. They would take it to management. They would even do so with things a normal person would consider to be trivial. I say that you should only complain when forced to, when it is totally necessary. One of the only times I ever complained was from a horrible neighbor I had. She was constantly yelling and cursing. She pounded on the walls. She pounded on my very door. She put me and those around her in fear. The other neighbors put in complaints as well. I could not live a normal peaceful life with her there, and nor could the others. It went on for months. Then one day I saw a sign on her door, “eviction notice.” I heard a drill. They were changing her locks. She was gone and things have been peaceful ever since. I don’t feel happy that she had to go. I felt bad for her in fact and hope that she found some sort of place where she is tolerated. That just means without people near her.

I try to find solutions other than bringing things up with others personally. Most of the time they’d ignore my complaint and hate me for it. Unfortunately people are not as diplomatic as they should be. My neighbor most directly towards my room is loud. He yells a lot himself. It bothered me at first. I noticed I heard him much less when my fan was turned on. That little sound muffled a lot of the noise. Granted it was a high powered fan I was using one summer. So I looked for a white noise machine with a fan noise setting and found one. I got two of them and they block out every outside noise. I don’t hear a thing from outside. Sometimes noise comes from below my room too, which was also gone. That neighbor of mine really angered our other neighbor. So badly that the guy pounded his door in yelling at him to be quiet. He too was evicted. I guess it really does pay to take the high road. I am now in the most peaceful area of the entire building (and hope and pray it stays that way.)

Things Of Hope And Optimism

We have lost just about everything when we have lost all hope. With hope we can be sure of good things to come. Without it, nothing good ever comes. We have too much doubt to let ourselves get excited over anything. At best we just find relief that it did happen. But it was going to happen all along. If we had known that and had been too reasonable to disbelieve, we’d have had a thing to look forward to, instead.

Maybe something will go wrong. Maybe it very rarely does. If it often does then there is reason for doubt. If it seldom does, then you should not doubt.

Violating a person’s trust is a bad thing indeed. A person should be careful not to promise things. You never know if something bad may come up that prevents you from following through. “A bad penny always turns up.” Don’t promise at all, as the Bible says:

34 but  I tell you, don’t swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God; 35 nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of his feet; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. 36 Neither shall you swear by your head, for you can’t make one hair white or black. 37 But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one. Matthew 5:34-37 World English Bible.

12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither  by the earth, neither  by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation. James 5:12.

You sort of force a person into hope when you promise them a good thing. If you had left it up to the moment it happened instead then there could be no beforehand stress.

When things go seriously wrong in life then things get better, we are left with fear that things will return that way. We have doubts that things will continue to be well in our lives after we have emerged from hard times. I have a few things to say about it: first, “all’s well that ends well.” Second, if you turn your life around once you can do so again. If you’ve taken a bad thing and made it better then that means you can do so again. Third, it may not be as bad as you remember it to be. You may re enter into it stronger than ever before and able to beat the problem better than before. Fourth, you are letting a good thing pass you by if you cannot appreciate your new life. If you cannot appreciate your new life due to fears you will lose it, then you are missing out on what good has become of it.

They say that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. That was certainly true with me. I moved from one place to another for twenty years. Whatever little problems came up (bad neighbors, area not good enough, cost too high, not enough space, ect.) made me move someplace else. Then again, I landed in a great home. I went from New Mexico to a nice hotel in San Francisco so I guess I did well for myself. Bus system here is great. I love the city in fact. I wouldn’t let any little problem make me move out anymore. I have accepted things for what they are. Nothing is ever perfect. I have done well enough.

Being Content With What You Have

That should not be a forced thing in either direction. You either have enough or you do not. I am not saying that you should have satisfaction over what you have, either. You might not want and need it right now but you may come to. At least you know you have it, “waste not want not.” In fact contentment can mean that you know you have something and you can use it, if it ever happens. That instead of not having it and feeling it is impossible to get into it because of that. So you then have urges to buy something you may not even ever use. If it is resting somewhere though you have a “possibility” stored away.

We all know what we need and we all have our different forms to them as well. There are certain things we are always needing to replenish. They make a difference from being clean and smelling good to being stinky everywhere we go. They make the difference between having a clean home or living in a mess. Those things don’t cost a lot. Maybe because of the high and regular demand of them. What sells more can be sold at lower cost and has too because of competition.

Sometimes we don’t know the usefulness of something until we get it. I got a pack of rubber bands I thought I might sort of use. They turned out a lot better than having bag clips. My retractable keychain broke not long after getting the rubber bands. The string part of it snapped off. I was going to buy a new one but then I saw my rubber bands and by tying three together (in a loop sort of way, you know, looping around) made something better than a retractable keychain. I was just about to throw out this small box but then realized it was the perfect size to mail my brother his birthday gifts. Then again I threw out a fan that had a lot of dust on it instead of cleaning it. I regretted that at first. It was a small fan though and I ended up getting a much better one. I am glad it went that way. When it gets much warmer it is certainly going to help.

The Judge Us Without Knowing Us

They get into our churches and corrupt them too. They think it is just one big party where God can be anything. They treat us like everything we believe is silly to begin with so they come in and change the rules, the designs, and everything. They never take the time to understand us. They just think we are poor misguided people who think there is a God in the sky. They throw out our moral beliefs. They also make fun of us all over the place. It’s a part of their entertainment to ridicule us. We have become the most hated of religions.

They do so out of ignorance though. It doesn’t all come from understanding. It goes along with what the rest of the world thinks of us. On one side there are those that think we are some kind of bossy superstitious people. On the other hand they listen to the scientists who refute every little thing we believe. Both together they just consider us a waste of time and delusional.

They wouldn’t put an hour into the Holy Bible however. Sometimes it is their parents that teach them to stay away from us and could even fear just having a Bible. Some might be wealthy people. They just feel like Christianity would rob them of their money and lifestyle. Some are parts of other religions. Christianity came before Islam and Buddhism. It has stood the test of time. It has had the strongest presence in the world for the last two thousand years. You still see a Church in every small town and many of them in larger cities. You might think that San Francisco wouldn’t have so many, but it does. On the popular street corners you always hear a street preacher preaching. It might seem like a modern phenomenon that our numbers are vanquishing, but no, we are still standing strong!

What Place Does Science And Tech Have In A Christian World?

It has a strong and highly valued place in the world. These things the human race has earned with its sweat and blood. God placed us in a place with enormous resources. What we wrought from this place is our own. That is why he gave all of it to us. He has always expected us to work and to build. He has interest in our progress. We have designed the kind of world we wanted. God has given us that capability and that luxury. Heaven is not an empty place where all angels do is sing and play the harp “up in the clouds” as some would depict. When we think spirit we think ghostly. We have certain misconceptions. Ezekiel described a spaceship. Angels really do have wings. (They are not to be worshiped by the way.) An angel removed a large stone from Jesus' tomb. It was not a stone any human could have moved at the time. Angels have appeared on earth at times to help people. When Jesus resurrected he remained on earth for 40 days. He still had the scars on his hands. Then he went back to heaven with the help of the angels. He did not turn into a ghost or anything like that. That was his spiritual body and we will have a spiritual body too.

To get back to the main point, having these things we have is fine except for one missing component: we need God to govern over us. We need God, more generally. Without God we would never come to a utopia. We would just continue using science and technology against ourselves. We could become lost in it at some point. Think ‘simulated realities.’ We need God to eliminate human suffering. When God’s kingdom comes it will bring with it the missing pieces we need. Those things of immortality, the things of abolishing diseases, the surety that everyone will have a home, everyone will have food, the earth will be renewed and made more beautiful than ever before when God returns to establish His kingdom.

We can keep the things we made. They are in fact treasures among the angels and the universe as it were. They are worth something after all. It wasn’t all for nothing. It took ages for us to procure them. The internet has brought them all into one. We have a certain existence as humans according to how we were made and the resources we were given. It isn’t all going to be wiped clean as though it is just junk without any value or meaning. We will have them in Heaven with us. We will get to enjoy them in Heaven. What we have created before then will be brought into Heaven. We will continue to have them and continue to enjoy the success of what we have made. We will still be toy collectors if that is our thing. Or if our thing is collecting whatever: video games, books, comics, whatever, we will still be collecting them. We will have universal basic income to buy them. Getting them to begin with will be made easier in certain ways. That goes into a direction that I can’t get into, but will get to us faster, be more easily made, and things like that.

We Are Just Fine In God’s Eyes

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. Hebrews 8:12

Let’s take that verse more seriously! God has forgiven us and sees our sin no more. As long as we are morally good people then we should never doubt the love of God in our lives. God will forgive you whenever you ask Him too. I would say ask for it once and remember it is so, with faith. We are on good terms with God. God cared so much that he gave us His son to die for our sins. That is a great, strong, and powerful love. Paul said he was the worst sinner of all:

15 The saying is faithful and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. 16 However, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first, Jesus Christ might display all his patience for an example of those who were going to believe in him for eternal life. 1 Timothy 1:15-16 World English Bible.

God saved Paul to show He is here for the sinner and by the power of Christ he was saved. The worst of all sinners was saved. Christianity is never about us stamping out our own sin. “Jesus cannot be crucified twice.” It is actually wrong to think and act like we do. Salvation is a gift, not something we earn (John 3:16.)

15 But the gift is not like the trespass . For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! Romans 5:15 NIV.

Jesus always has it in his heart to save us. He would go out of his way to save one sheep among 99 who already are. He is never looking for our condemnation. It is Satan who is the harsh judge, not him. The Devil would put all kinds of doubt in our heads. That is a thing that is harmful to our faith. We should have faith that God is loving and forgiving. We will go further as Christians when we do. When we do wrong we might feel bad for it and move on, which we should, move on. From there knowing we are in right standing with God, we will have room to improve and evolve as Christians. Certainly if you have pretty much turned away from being a bad person, say, if you were one when you were younger, but since then have matured, then just let the past go. It is not Christian to live in remorse and guilt. It is Christian to receive God’s forgiveness. Otherwise we will just never have His grace in our existence.

“Only God Is My Judge/ God Will Punish You”

There are people who make sick cults who actually believe they have the power of Heaven behind them. They have these polygamy things with girls way too young. They build up a little “Holy” army which isn’t Holy but bent on apocalyptic destruction. All the while they think that God is going to swoop down and save them from persecution. Christianity has a dangerous way of making believers think they have that power behind them. That power behind them is more than absent. There is probably Heavenly power against them. Be on your guard when anyone makes themself out to be Jesus. Believe me, when he returns, the whole world will know. They will know all at once. He will not be living some life in some city with a little followers or anything like that. He returns in a way different than the first time. He returns with all of the angels of Heaven behind him.

I have met homeless people (who seemed just fine to me) that told me I was going to hell for not giving me their money. Christianity is sometimes abused that way. If you don’t follow the Bible their way, if they are even competent to help themselves but choose not to, they think that you are going straight to hell for not doing so. They must live under a strict, hateful, and punishing God.

What tone of voice should you be looking for from a preacher? It is not an angry one. It is not from those that we call “pulpit pounders.” That is not the Holy Spirit working in them. It is in fact an evil spirit driving them.

Too often do Church clergy abuse children. They too act on an evil spirit, that of the worst kind. If it is happening to you then you should report them to the police. You should do all you can to remove yourself from that situation. You should tell your children to do the same: to let them know if anyone ever tries that on them. Otherwise they might be fooled into thinking that that is what God wants. I had a friend who was abused when he was younger. It made him a homosexual person. He was still dedicated to the Bible and Christianity in full. But an evil clergy member put those feelings and that confusion within him.

Christianity For One Is Not Christianity For All

It is an under-appreciated thing that God not only made us unique but gave us unique kinds. God made us diverse. He placed one kind here and another there. He gave us differences whether the modern world would let us acknowledge that or not. He didn’t want us to be made into a stew. We will battle forever in trying to unite ourselves though. That cannot be. It wasn’t meant to be. The Antichrist will unite the whole world. That is what Satan wants. If that is any example, it is Satanic.

There are different denominations. As long as they don’t warp scripture in a totally wrong way then that is fine. They just focus on one thing more than another. They just do things a little different while one is just as valid as another. They have chosen to serve God in unique ways. There is nothing wrong with a Jehova’s Witness going door to door. There is nothing at all wrong with how the Catholics believe in the mother Mary more than most other denominations do. Maybe the Devil has kept that from the other denominations. Jesus said to his disciples: “behold: your mother,” when he was on the cross. I am a baptist. Maybe there should be a baptist denomination that would include Mother Mary?

We can take a lot of judgments away from other denominations when we know these things. I am sure that from denomination to denomination God appreciates each of them for what they are, so long as they do not get the scriptures totally wrong.

Modern American Society.. The Problems It Has

Satan has chosen “the new world” to be his nation. There is such great evidence of that. We are the producers of sin. What in forms of entertainment is paramount in the world. We do get help from Japan, such as in video game and anime form. No one knows the demonic like the Japanese do. As for a nation that once was built around Christianity, that has been turned on its head. Now it is the anti Christian/Biblical that runs amuck. Those who are Satanic have the power, the influence, and the authority in so many ways. Their words tread forward new avenues with Satanic forces paving the roads. Maybe this is where the wicked belong.

14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. 15 Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and fornicators and murderers and idolaters, and every one who loves and practices falsehood. Revelation 22:14-15 RSV.

Those who purify themselves may eat from the tree of life. Those who live in sin will not be allowed to enter into God’s city, where the tree of life is found.

31 “But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. 32 And all the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; 33 and He will put the sheep on His right, but the goats on the left. Matthew 25:31 NASB.

The wicked will have their place at the left hand side of Jesus Christ. He will separate the good from the bad. The bad will dwell together while the good will be on his right hand side dwelling among their own.

Little Christian Adventures

I once walked out of my home to be homeless to know what it was like. I was out there for two weeks and came to understand it much better in just that much time. Here were people that lived under tarps, that rested when they could but had to move from place to place, who had their own little social circles, who went across town to find a free meal, and I went to a church sermon (the auditorium kind) with them one night.

Unfortunately I had a year long homeless thing that happened to me not long after that but at least I was somewhat ready.

There is a possibly great job for anyone who wants to be a missionary. They get to see the world and share the word of God to everyone they come across.

You yourself could visit Israel to gain a greater appreciation for it all.

There are Bible camps. Those are a lot of fun. Especially in the right environment such as snow capped mountains and forested areas.

I used to always enjoy summer bible school. That is a lot of fun for a kid, full of crafts and neat stories to hear.

Going through different churches can be fun, trying to find a perfect fit.

I used to attend church outings. Some were just trips to special churches. We’d go there together in a van and they were a lot of fun. One was in a large building when I was a teenager. It was just good to get out of town for a while.

We can have lots of adventuresome fun as Christians in fact. We don’t even have very far to go. These things are all over the place. If we want an adventure out of going to a university and getting a degree in theology then that is just as well. Adventure means different things for different people. Building a new church and gathering followers may be your adventure.

Choosing Things Of Better Influence

When I was a teenager and young adult I was into adult themed things. The more the better. I was into heavy metal, I have to admit, not good metal either by any stretch. I was into the controversy that surrounded cartoons, video games, and other things. I never thought I would become like my parents and grandparents, who found it distasteful. I did though. I can’t just turn on a horror movie of the worst kind anymore. Back then for me it was “the worse the better.” It is just tasteless and without style, just grotesque stuff to me anymore. Besides, controversy has gotten rather cheap. What is controversy anymore anyway.

As for what I watch most of it is either news of video game things. Retro gaming videos are my biggest interest. I don’t play a lot of games. I did beat Mario Bros for the first time in a long time yesterday and would like to get through 2, 3 and Super Mario World though. Those are the least bad things you can find. A lot of fun though. What I mostly watch is in video game form, most of all of classic games (very classic, pre-32 bit.) It comes in many forms: playing them, reviewing them, history of them, speed running them, collecting them, conventions, and top tens, to name a few. I am a “video game historian.”

It is a good and wholesome community to be in. We know things we all know about old games. It is easy common knowledge that we have with them. Such as “the video game crash of 1983,” Nintendo's background, and what most commonly make up the top games for old systems. There is a lot to know but it sticks with you. It isn’t a burden of books when it comes to the history of the stuff. There are the top video game based channels on YouTube. There are others to come across as well. I think about ten of my subscriptions are of lesser known channels. We see these people doing things their own particular way. One thing that I enjoy is watching them go to conventions to buy old games. All in all it is a good community to be in compared to so many others. You don’t find these people being over involved in the world or making trouble, not at all. They are just people that love to collect games, learn about them, talk about them, and play them.

I listen to a lot of video game music as well. You won’t find cursing in them. You won’t find vulgar things revolving around them. They won’t get you into satanic things, gangs, or poor behavior.

That is just one example of good influences. It is certainly not limited to that. In fact, focusing on a job is about the best thing for a person. The education for it is a good thing to have and to get. People long ago did not have any time to do bad things. Now? There is a lot of space to fill so it is understandable why things have become so bad. Who would have known that a little work could have kept the world a much better place, but it does. In some areas of the world there are still people who do day long work. They’ve become masters at what they do. Whether it is specialized tile, difficult harvesting, intricate woodwork, or whatever else, thoughts of doing bad things never even enter into their minds.

Sometimes we have to isolate ourselves from bad people. We may live in a bad neighborhood but deserve better. If a parent can then moving can make every difference. My parents moved from a large city to a small town for our sake. Some would home school and I believe that’s a good idea, especially in today’s time, at least in America.

There are lots of good things that continue to exist. We in fact have our pick and share. There are Bible shows and movies to watch if our standards are particularly high. I knew a lady pastor who would only watch movies in that form and only listen to Chrisitan music. I knew a youth preacher who was asked if Christian metal is okay. He told us, “would the disciples have listened to it?” Then a moment later we all said “no.” I cannot say that is true of me, in all honesty, I need more than purely Christian entertainment. Again though, there are things out there that are perfectly fine and I would say “we don’t have to split hairs over it.”

Fashioning You Life To Become Better And To Make It Better

We can goof up a lot in life. The youth have their excuses but hopefully we’ll not have landed in prison. Some are so that they live a lifetime, maybe only going to jail for a misdemeanor. They were just at fault for having lived so confidently thinking it would never happen, got into a small fight or something and that was that. A fine here and there maybe, but have lived good enough lives to stay out of jail. One bad choice can cost a person dearly. A foolish person once shoved an old man off of the bus because of her impatience. She probably went home that day finding humor in it and ignoring the fact that what she did was totally wrong. The old man in fact died in the hospital over it and she was charged with murder. I could not be the kind of person who could commit an awful crime and live with himself. These people should realize that there is hard and smart work being done against them and there really is nowhere to hide. Hopefully we are not in the numbers of such fools who think that way.

We either grow to maturity or grow into wickedness. If we learn to live right we can live long and happy lives which never warrant any punishment over us.

We should focus on good honest work. We should adapt ourselves to that over a cheap buck and ill gotten gains. The only shortcuts are all illegal. Hard work = Christian gains. As the Bible says “we reap what we sow.” If we build ourselves a nice home from good work, a good education, by starting a business, or some such thing then we can expect to keep that home and hand it down to our children. We would be a good influence on our children as well. That instead of doing the same as with things such as selling drugs. They can have it all taken from them. They will be removed from their children. They will have nothing good to give them.

Christians are often pillars of their communities and do better from generation to generation. Build up the best life you can for yourselves and your children. Put effort into that everyday. Establish the best lives you can in honest ways. Work towards your future. Secure a good future for you and your loved ones. Remove yourselves and them from bad influences. Teach your children to work. Do not overburden them, but give them a heart to work and to do a good job. It will make every difference.

Self Pity/ Feeling Sorry For Yourself

Tears really do go away when we become adults. Some Christians say that we are born into sin just as much as babies cry. The baby could be called sinners in no other regard, but its self pity is its sin. When a father disciplines his children he becomes harder on them when they begin to cry and feel sorry for themselves. In a sense that shows that the child feels they are the victim. There is no uglier thing than to see a grown man cry. In a Christian sense we are meant to be more emotionally strong than that level a child would have. Tears have never made up for a mistake. Making amends and crying about it has never been hand in hand.

As adults we should be stronger than that. We can either choose to feel we are a victim and “how sorrowful it is for us,” or to be stronger and more emotionally stable when addressing our problems.

11 When I was a child, I spake  as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 1 Corinthians 13:11 KJV.

When it is that we do not feel sorry for ourselves and our lot then we can work harder, we can be more stable, more logical and rational, and address our problems in a much better way!

How God Wants Us To Be

How should we be towards God overall? There are different things to keep in mind. First, we should not be greedy in prayer. Things may not work out in life as we want them too and God has the power to change all things, but that doesn’t mean we should expect Him to and get angry if he does not. We would have Him warp time and space sometimes to have our problems solved. Some pray for riches. The Lord’s Prayer says “give us this day our daily bread.” There are all sorts of real and true problems all around but some would pray that their sports team would win. It is better to pray for those who are suffering if you don’t really have any problems in life right now.

We should be humble to an extent. Not so much that it feels like we are “walking on eggshells,” but at least a little humble.

God wants us to forgive and not seek revenge. God said that wrath is His. That means He is not so much punishing someone for you as it is that God Himself felt that wrong was done. So He does not want a command from someone to have their enemies punished. That is a thing He does on His own with His own will, not acting on commands and not used  to harm another. God forgives those who forgive and the most you can forgive is the most you are forgiven. So forgiveness is a highly valuable thing in that sense. We all have our faults in one way or another. More in the past maybe, with some bound to come up here and there, we all have them.

God wants us to be loving, peacekeeping, and understanding towards others.

God wants us to do what is right. He wants us to be honest. He wants us to turn away from sin. God wants our salvation. He wants to establish His kingdom on Earth. He wants to rule beside us. He wants to restore “the garden.” He wants an end to evil things. He wants things to resolve. He is ready to give us a home of our own just as we would have it. In the meantime He would protect us and watch over us.

God wants us to live a clean life instead of one like an animal. He does not want us to be perverted. He wants more for our lives than pleasure seeking alone, such as living for things like food. He wants greater spirituality from us. He wants us to conquer our flesh and exalt our spirit. He wants us to reach a more spiritual, godly state. He wants our minds to regard Heaven and the spiritual. He wants us to be more angelic. He wants our spiritual state to be established. He wants an end to our curse, which Chrisitans have received in part, which we will fully receive when we dwell in His kingdom.

Bear Your Cross And Follow Jesus Christ

24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? Matthew 16:24-26 ESV.

How would we react if we were in the time of Jesus Christ seeing our teacher and Lord being taken to Calvary? Peter denied even knowing Jesus three times when the rooster crowed. He then cried bitterly, which is known as The Repentance of Peter. Mourning over our sins is a form of repentance.

17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”

Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.”

Jesus said, “Feed my sheep. 18 Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” 19 Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him, “Follow me!” John 21:17-19 NIV.

This is such a bitter sweet thing. On one hand, it entails death, but on the other, eternal life in Heaven. I’m sure Peter was afraid to die just as all humans are. But he came to know Jesus Christ. He walked with Christ. He witnessed his miracles such as when he walked on water and pulled him up when he was drowning.

28 Peter answered him and said, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the waters.” 29 He said, “Come!” Peter stepped down from the boat and walked on the waters to come to Jesus. 30 But when he saw that the wind was strong, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” 31 Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand, took hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” 32 When they got up into the boat, the wind ceased. 33 Those who were in the boat came and worshiped him, saying, “You are truly the Son of God!” Matthew 14:18-33 WEB.

This suggests that Jesus will pull Peter up from death. Peter would be crucified due to being a disciple of Jesus. The name Peter means “stone.” It was the stone Jesus placed to establish his church. I am sure that Peter is doing quite well in Heaven. He is one of the greatest among the Saints. After all: “Blessed are they who are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” As Jesus said. A short hard life cannot compare to eternity in Heaven. Peter can be considered the gate. The story of Jonah tells us of a man who was told by God to teach repentance to those in Nineveh. He instead escaped God’s mission for him, getting on a boat going in the opposite direction. A strong storm appeared and Jonah was swallowed by a large whale. He was in its belly for three days until he asked God for forgiveness. He then followed through on God’s mission for him.

Faith To Do What God Wants (In Today’s Time)

The Bible shows us again and again that when God would have us do something He wants us to do so strongly, without fear, and with faith and trust in Him. Taking up this lot, some would cower. Some will fail at it. Others will go most bravely forward such as David did against Goliath and Daniel did in the lion's den. When God tells us to do something then it must be done, without fear of reprisal we must do God’s will. We must teach what He would have us teach without watering it down. Without “softening it up.” People may not like to hear what God would have us say. If some are turned over then its purpose is fulfilled, and that is so with even a little. People should know God’s will. Unfortunately our church is being infiltrated with its message distorted. People are even finding it easy to creep in and change the Bible’s message or disregard it altogether. They have their own message to bring and use us to deliver it… the cowardly among us anyway.

As things were in the past, God had people sent out to deliver that message that did not want to be heard. From the beginning to the end of the Bible that was so. The early Christians faced a lot of danger but continued to preach the gospel. Martin Luther wanted a better form of Christianity through his Disputation on the Power of Indulgences document. He put himself at risk by opposing the Catholic church. My point isn’t that one is better than the other but is that in a Christian way he showed he was brave. Christians have a way of being brave when they are. Not all Christians are brave but some truly are. We act on God’s will, not our own. So we should speak the word of God, not some gross misinterpretation of it.

If God moves us to speak His word then we should do so literally and without warping it. We cannot add or take away from The Bible.

And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Revelation 22:19. That was about the last thing the Bible said.

If we cannot follow that rule then we should not become preachers or Christian teachers.

Evil Grows Everywhere And Fast (Like A Weed)

Evil chokes out the good and harms the good crop. Good grows slowly but beautiful, like flowers. A little bit of wrong can quickly become a lot of it. Given any room to move, bad people will take it all. They’ll take everything they can from good people. Given any right at all, any leniency, they will abuse everything. They will go into stores with large bags and take it all. When it is seen being done and gotten away with, more will do it. They imitate one another all too willingly. They encourage each other all too much. They’d have things turned to anarchy. They cannot live honest lives. They cannot stand being unknown, so are willing to do horrible things for attention. Some of them are just born fools. Well, the world made them that way. It made them throw large stones at passing cars and kill a person. I have also seen a news article where a large group of people entered a store, greatly trashed everything, and then charged out. What kind of demonic possession does something like that require? There is something wrong with them in the worst mental way.

It takes time to establish good things in the world, in every society there is. It takes a much shorter time to ruin it all. The best societies could exist which in a matter of years can become rotten with just a little disorder. Then tougher laws have to be made, propaganda, whatever can turn things around and there can be no small amount of it. It takes a lot of work pulling up weeds. You have to get them at the root or else they will grow back. If you miss just one then they can quickly become two, three, then multiply. We have a special problem nowadays though: the godless being empowered.

When God returns however those weeds will be uprooted and thrown into the fire only as God can do. From east to west, north to south, beauty will flourish. The world will be left with the good people alone. An untold amount of problems will be fixed. God will make the earth more beautiful than ever before.

Riches And Fame.. Or Contentment

Those are the focus of most people. Those are the two big ones. Those are the grand goals in the lives of many. To me, money goes a long way. I don’t have a lot of money, for sure, but it feels like a lot. It goes a long way when it comes to modern prices and things available. Take a large TV for example. There was a time when I really wanted a large flat screen TV that cost something like $800. About ten years later the thing is around $200. How do they do it? I imagine that the shipping costs are lower, what they are made up of is too. I mean, being so flat. I had a 32 inch CRT TV. The thing was a monster. It was a hundred pounds heavy. Now there is augmented reality coming out. Just glasses. Glasses with a special lens and little speakers. You can’t tell them apart from ordinary glasses yet they make it seem like a hundred inch TV is in front of you. That is child’s play tech when it comes to materials used. I thought the terminator sunglasses were cool in the early 90s. My point is: we can live like kings with such a little amount of money. What the wealthiest person had twenty years ago the least wealthy now owns. In fact they didn’t have any of this sort of stuff available back then. If they did then it was less powerful and all of that.

One more example are the “mini consoles” you can buy. Such as a SNES console which includes 21 games on them. The price was 60 dollars for it. Maybe it was $80, can’t remember but no more than that. Anyways, the thing would have cost over a thousand dollars for those games when they first came out and the system, $200. Not to mention that is before inflation! I look forward to the day that the Playstation 4 Classic comes out. I am sure it will eventually happen. I can wait.

I feel content with my money. I feel like I couldn’t really use more than I already have, in fact. I have a nice printer. Those are affordable with the littlest income. I have an internet TV (Roku) with thousands of on demand movies and shows. I pay $10 for that every month (the cost of my wifi.) My smart phone can do what my Windows 95 PC did and then some (to say the least.) I had to get my first PC in payments that took a year to complete. So what does inflation even mean anymore? About that, they talk about us being in a recession and this and that yet the fast food restaurants are still full of people. You find people with things that they just never could have had in the past unless they were wealthy.

As for being a little famous we can have that. We might not have thousands of followers (unless we are lucky) but we can have a few hundred who watch what videos we make and what we do online. I was going to the cheapest grocery store in town for a while. I am a man that has to take the bus too. The lines and the amount of people there was a lot. I found out about grocery deliveries from Amazon that had free deliveries at first. A driver brings it right to you, how convenient! They started charging $7 a delivery for a two hour window for when they’ll arrive. At first I didn’t like this. Then I put it in the perspective that if I had a friend who would bring me my groceries within two hours and all he wanted was $7 for it, of course I would choose that over doing it myself.

Keeping Ourselves Together

A person can have the best life and make such a bad matter out of small things. A person who is homeless finds great satisfaction from a pocket radio and a cold drink. They don’t have a lot to be worried about like people who are better off. Even if they end up in jail then at least they’ll have food and a bed. I felt a lot more confident in fact when I was homeless. Would I have ever thought that I would lose this or that? I am afraid of homelessness happening to me again. My worries are over not having such grandiosity. It helps to know: people would regard problems in the best of lives. There are people out there who really do have some serious problems going on. Consider yourself fortunate and well off if you are not one of them.

I used to have to deal with people on a common basis. I lived in housing that grouped people together. I had a roommate. I was not made for that. “Familiarity breeds contempt.” I could never escape the same people. People I had to be on good terms with but something like that is not as practical as it may seem. These dumb little things they say to each other start becoming offensive and such things just pile up. I could not be alone to smoke as I so wanted. I could not enter a kitchen and cook something without being bothered.

Then I came into my own home and was able to be alone. I am not a lonely person. I don’t feel that I can even be lonely anymore. I am alone most of the time and I don’t do things like talk to myself or desire someone to email. I spend a lot of time on TV to be honest. I write for the first three and a half hours every day. Then I am just fine switching over to TV until about 2 in the morning. If I receive money on a day I spend it. I have certain appointments I have to attend. So very much so however, I am emotionally flat. I prefer it that way for most part. As for me I feel that it solved a great deal of problems in my life. I just wanted to be alone.

Teenagers have issues with their parents and siblings at some point. Keeping your family with you beyond twenty years old requires things like forgiveness. Many just abandon their family after a certain age because they could never let certain things go. They don’t even have to be bad things. If they are particularly bad then good. You have gotten out of a bad place and just want to leave it behind. If your family never did you any wrong however, then bring that into consideration.

How far is it between being calm and snapping when it comes to people? If it is a short distance then that is something that should be worked on. For some it happens when things do not go perfectly right. There is a name for that. That’s a “short fuse.” For others it takes a pretty bad situation for it to happen. For some it is unpredictable. It may happen when some sort of past trauma resurfaces. Something that resembles it can come out of nowhere and the person is suddenly overwhelmed by it, which is perfectly understandable. Just be on guard with yourself and your actions. It is better to not curse at all because those words are accompanied by anger. Without them our words cannot be so hateful. We have to hold our tongue. Sometimes people are thrown into a fit of rage and then all hell breaks loose. That may not end well for them. Those are particularly bad memories that a person essentially gives themselves when they do. Those are hard memories, the sort of “being taken” kind and acting like a fool kind. If we feel sorry then we become better but as God forgives us so should others.

There are certain things we should never engage in. They are: accusations, blaming, slander, aggression, words that are very poor choices, unreasonable complaints, being controlled by our emotions, and certainly use of weapons.

I have experienced times when I controlled my anger. It was hard on me, it was anger painful and strong, but I kept quiet and thanked myself for it later. I never regretted doing so. Then there were times for me when I did not control my anger. I felt like a fool and was left with feeling like a fool. I wished in those times that I had controlled myself a little better. Then there were those times when I dealt with it without becoming angry, I fought for my dignity. I did so calmly and rationally and it fixed certain misbehavior being directed at me. At least I did not act out in hate and I could believe in my own self righting the wrong they’d do to me. Not everything has its place. Some things do, other things do not.

Modern Christian Things

As far as material things go we have more than ever. We have things today that we could not in the past. We have new technology as they sometimes require. We have a greater market to find and buy them and so on.

For example we can buy all sorts of scripture cards (the trading card kind and the larger kind as well.) Some of those are better made than others. Some are plastic in fact which come across as printed better. Similarly, there are bookmarks. These are good to send in letters (as like snail mail) to your Christian family. As for me I also buy Christian stickers to seal up an envelope. A family member of mine sent me a little booklet about heaven which I enjoyed reading.

I can understand why someone would want the King James version of the Bible over the others. I can understand why they’d want a newer translation as well. Someone once told me “the KJV has style.” And another said, “it was inspired (by God.)” As for me I love the KJV but need a bottom area translation on it where things can be misunderstood by modern articulation. I really like those bibles. I like the Gideon Bible. That makes some simple changes based on grammar but is largely the same thing. We all have our favorite.

I had the Strong's  Concordance for a while. That very fat and large book that gave you a direct translation of most words (all of the words other than the very common ones such as “the.”) Modern apps are available to fit those needs. There are apps that very quickly show you where certain words are. Not to mention the internet itself to look up certain things. I never learned the verse numbers. I know the Bible well. I know the New Testament very well. It is a small book after all (with the greatest things ever said.) So I can find those verse numbers just by searching for what I know is in the Bible. Like I know the Lord’s prayer but what verse? The internet can quickly pull that up.

We have more Bible stories put into online video than ever before. We can see the life of Paul or the story of Samson or whatever else. We have whatever Christian songs or gospel songs we want to hear available to us.

There are golden cross necklaces, or wooden ones, as we want them. Some Christians like to wear the Star of David.

I have given a lot of Bibles in my time. My late grandfather gave them to people who were in jail. My first Bible was a really small Gideon Bible that contained only Proverbs, Psalms, and the New Testament. One night as a little boy I was under my covers reading it when my mother came to me with some ice cream. A youth pastor gave me a really nice white cover bible, the NIV version with the verse Jeremiah 29:11 written out (which was relevant to me.) I once found this bible in a used book store that was in perfect shape yet came from the 1920s. It could not have been handled any better.

The Spirit Of The Bible, The Power Behind It

First and foremost it is God’s Word. It is a book of ultimate authority over humankind. It is the instructions of God. It tells us who He is. It shows how God was always with us. It tells us the reasons why we are here. It answers a lot of questions. It is light in the darkness. The words of Jesus Christ were particularly powerful. No man spoke the way that Jesus did. No greater wisdom can be found than that which is in the Bible. It is our way out of the curse. It is a book of hope.

It is a complex book in a way. So many people have explained it in so many different ways. The meaning behind what it says is multifaceted. Things in the Old Testament relate back to Jesus in that way. When you are reading the Old Testament you are often reading about Jesus and that is the best thing to know while doing so. Parables are a powerful way of expressing things and Jesus spoke a lot of them, and masterfully so. The Book of Revelation was actually Jesus’ book. It creates a beautiful painting of the end times. As a result of these things a person can never exhaust the meaning they find from the Bible.

So it makes many different religions. It leads to many different books being made. It inspires a lot of people to say the least. Just a few lines of the Bible can be highly inspirational and often are. There is no comparing the Bible to any other book, there is simply nothing like it. There is a lot of meaning to it. Even the smaller things are broad in scope. It is there waiting for you to find answers. For many people the Bible has been a lifetime guide and a good one at that.

The Way That Scripture Is Abused

Be cautious of anyone who comes up with answers, ideas, and things, which don’t make sense, yet they’d pull off as “biblical.” In other words, some people find ways of making the Bible say what they want it to when in reality it has nothing to do with what they are trying to say it does. These often make up quick and seemingly useful lessons for those who read or hear them. They have in fact just twisted things around to conveniently make the Bible mean what they want it to. So if you are left with the question “what does that have to do with what is written down?” Have some doubts.

They’ll rob a person blind. They’ll have people put their house up for sale for their Church (more likely right into their own pockets.) They’ll convince people it is God’s work and is a way into Heaven. There was recently a preacher everyone is calling the “bling” preacher. He was said to have a million dollars in jewelry on him. Then one day while preaching he was robbed blind. People thought, well, they both were wrong. I think that wearing a million dollars in jewelry you got from your church is liking putting it in God’s face. “Look at how I took things from your children,” is the sort of thing I think. “Look at how I profited from your words,” “look at how I stole what is yours.” Those are the things that come to mind. Anyways, he shoved a lady later on out of anger. Then later he was found to have committed financial fraud as is facing trouble over it. I bet he probably thinks all that jewelry was a gift and a blessing from God. Then again he may have very little regard for God.

There are those who would have you take your own life for Christian sake. These are madmen that get ahold of the Bible and have it horribly misconstrued. They “drink the red flavor aid.” There was an instance of this in Africa recently. Followers of a person deliberately starved themselves to death. The leader was sent to prison where he deliberately starved himself. This is a gross misinterpretation of the Bible when it comes to fasting. Fasting to death isn’t fasting. Fasting is meant to grow you spiritually. Not to slay you.. That’s just suicide. Suicide is a sin. People like that should at least keep that in mind. Destructive rampages are not Holy. Christianity should never be used to rob a person of their life. Killing your followers is still murder.

The witch hunt or more generally the anti heresy things.. People can be pretty vicious, especially if they are given power to be. Separation of Church and State (I say so with some controversy) at least stopped those who would abuse Christianity. That is just the wrong people getting a hold of Christianity. They probably often think that they should be the ultimate authority and if anyone falls short, they should be punished. An atheist abusing Christianity is far more common nowadays. Way in the past people didn’t have much more than the stars to stare up at and much mystery of the world remained. A Church at one time was only allowed to play Dorian music, “Dorian chant.” When the organ crept in, that was controversial. Is it right to say that their standards were too high? I wonder what kind of true lessons there were for those who attended Church. For so long they were not allowed to have the Bible for themselves. Perhaps the lessons were always in the State’s favor and these were just things used to control people.

Some only use Christianity to control and manipulate others. If they are taking everything from you and isolating you then it is time to go.

Truly Finding Peace In Life

That means that you just have to drop things like worries and concerns.

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not  life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? Matthew 6:25-27 NIV.

I have found that not worrying can be a choice. That is the most powerful way to go about it just as a thing is taken and cut off.

We should master our doubts and fears. We should be hopeful in a strong sense. It is always better to look at the light side of things, the “bright side” over the darker side of things… those things which put you in doubt, make you speculate over things like sabotage, that all possibility that things will turn out well in the end are all gone, these are the thoughts of miserable people. If we are going to be happy in life then we must overcome that way of thinking. We should instead be ever hopeful, accepting of our problems, and if nothing else turn our eyes to what is good about life. It always helps to think about the good over the bad. Just think of what you do own. Think on the bright side of everything. Think of those who do care about you, never about those who do not.

If we start to become too negative such as against a person, then we should change course to more positive thoughts about them. We have a way of amplifying the bad. We have a way of ignoring the good. But things don’t have to be that way. Our perspective can always be reguided. It can be offered to the better things and regard the bad things less.

The right perspective considers the good. The good in.. our existence, our future, and the people we know, and the outside world. It is an “at least” way of thinking. Things may be wrong in this way or that, but at least (this) is so. The wrong perspective says “things will never get better.” “I will never get better at this.” “This problem will never go away.” “I am powerless to change this.” We might even find the fine talent of turning a bad thing into a good thing along the way. There are cleaning conditions where I live. If things are not clean enough people enter who thoroughly clean it. It takes hours. During that time I am displaced . But I don’t get out enough. So I decided to save my money for those days. Now I’d just see a movie, eat somewhere (across town at the Fisherman’s Wharf) or get into a nice hotel apart from this one for the day. My allowance is coming in so late that I doubt it will and I’ll have to have it sent again. So I have to wait a little longer and have a little patience. I find that I have and I know it will be resolved. As much as the allowance is about having more, I decided to appreciate what I already have. That is what made me feel better about it all. I haven’t touched a video game in awhile so I played my copy of Super Mario Bros and a few other games. I guess that would not have happened if my allowance came on time. I was cleaning my clothes in the two washing machines of this place. You are always lucky when you get both washers empty. Even better, both dryers were empty. So I was minutes away from the washing machine being done. While waiting for those couple of minutes a guy came in with a small jacket and asked if I needed the dryers. I felt for a moment that it was an offensive thing to do. I was just about to get everything washed and dried without any bother at all. This guy just had a small jacket, a dry one. I didn’t want to be bossy or anything about it. I just told him that I can put both loads into one dryer if he wants. I think I stopped a possible argument there. The guy said “no it will just take a few minutes.” But what happened was not another minute passed by before he took his little jacket out and said “thank you.”

True triumph comes for those who master their negative feelings in life.

Bad Has Become Truly Bad

Christians are kept from the cup of God’s wrath. We have been set aside for a better future. We have been made invulnerable to these evil spirits which have been released. Even more atheistic people have to admit, some of these people are truly demon possessed. Some of them growl. Some yell total nonsense as though something else is speaking through them. They say the sorts of things that leave that sheer impression. Being that way on drugs is one thing, but some of them aren’t. The Devil wants jungle living for us. He wants us as animal as can be, away from a spiritual and godly life as far as possible. He wants us to act on hard emotions. He wants to remove God’s image planted within us. He wants anarchy and a world where only the strong survive. He would have the weak trampled all over. He calls it progress.

And people are driven into their animal nature and are carefully deprived of anything spiritual… those things are blocked off. They are detoured. They are as removed from society as can be. The criminal person has been given more and more liberty to do what they do. It is the peacekeeping and right living person who is condemned. If one of their own is harmed for what they do (they could be a great threat to the police, they could have been defending themselves) that is no matter, the prosecutors are forced into punishing them. Maybe that was the plan all along. To rile the public in such a way that they know that through protest they can have good people punished and bad people protected. It does not take a lot to come to that conclusion. The Devil would divide us into lambs and wolves. He would have anything that resembles a Chrisitan to be devoured. Not in name only but also by attribute only. He hates what a Christian is.

We will not be subject to God’s wrath however. We will not partake in that cup. We will get by much better than others. We will not succumb to evil spirits that would overtake us. The majority of the world will join one and all in a fiery wrath. People without Jesus in their heart will do what bad does.

It is time to look up. It is time to focus on God and His kingdom. It is time to get ready for His rule. No wicked thing will enter in. No wicked life would be given life, because they’d take it from others. They would use it for wicked purposes. God will not be had like that. His standards are our own. We believe in peace and happiness. We believe in living honestly. We don’t have the hands to steal the least of things. They’d take an armful. For our sake they will be removed from us. The will of God is far different from the will of The Devil. We then will see drastic change when God enters into the world. The wicked will just be wiped away from it. The rest will live under God’s will, which is to live good, Holy, and righteous lives.

The Wicked Cannot Be Trusted

There is no life among the wicked. They live under the throes of sin. They are enslaved by their sin. “There is no honor among thieves,” they’d throw each other under the bus. They would have another punished when that time comes that they must confess to their doings. To the authorities they would lie. Any lie that benefits them is used. Taking a little is never enough. They are conditioned into taking as much as possible. They would make every lie to take from you and to use you. We know people by their fruit. We know them from what they sow. If you see evil all around them, then just flat out abandon them.

Some Of The Good Things We Can Establish

I say to you that in this manner there will be joy in heaven over one sinner repenting more-than over ninety nine righteous ones who have no need of repentance. Luke 15:7 DLNT.

Every soul counts. Everything given counts:

42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. Matthew 10:42 KJV.

There are different ways a Christian can help their community. The easiest and most straightforward way is to provide to the homeless… be it money, food, a blanket during winter, or, a pocket radio. That could be the only form of entertainment that they have. I know that when I was homeless I valued it over everything else and two AA batteries felt like gold in the pocket. I was always greatly happy to get a cold soda. Beats the luke warm water that some think is needed. Water fountains are easy to come by. They say to not look a gift horse into its mouth but sometimes you just can’t help it. I got this super cheap thin polyester blanket once which did no good at all. Night came and I was sadly disappointed. Getting a lukewarm can of soda kind of makes you sad.

I was always losing my shoes. Keep in mind I am mentally ill and my existence was a Schizophrenic one. I was not on medication. I believed my delusions were all true and thought of mental health doctors as trying to rob me of my reality. For whatever reason I was walking around barefoot, always losing my shoes. I was at the fisherman’s wharf at one time and there was a wooden dock around a lot of stores. I liked being there. That wooden dock had wooden spikes coming out of it. I rammed by barefeet right into one. It got a black area around it after a while. It was having spasms like from a blood clot. I was walking around in a limp and by grace a man gave me some flip flops. I had been trying to get a cold cup of water from a fast food place in the area. I was thrown out for not having shoes on. Anyways it all goes in saying just how much help the homeless need.

Some of us would build a church. Some of us would get a loan for its building. Some of us would even take courses on theology before doing so.

Some of us would start not for profit things to really help a lot of people.

Some would be missionaries, perhaps going to exotic lands.

Some of us would preach on a street corner.

Some would bring about a new translation of the Bible. Might make books based on the Bible. Might make pamphlets on their computer to hand out. Then there are the Daily Bread people which many have enjoyed reading. Some would make Christian hymns. Others would learn to play the piano just for the purpose of playing at a church. In grade school one of my classmates made cross necklaces out of beads and leather straps. Everyone in school liked them. What he did caught on.

On a grander scale we can create shelters for the homeless and meals for the homeless. Maybe in box form as “commodities.” The truly successful of these are things like The Salvation Army and Goodwill. They are good to donate to. Just giving them old clothes if that is all it is. Just giving them toys and books or whatever you no longer need. My mother used to stop by these two places and have us drop those goods right in front of the doors. What can be so simple yet so meaningful? I have always thought that there should be an extra garbage bin that is picked up, one for donated goods. I believe that such a thing would help a great deal in fact. Just imagine all the things we throw away that often don’t have any problem or can be easily repaired. Especially these days where fixing things hasn’t ever been so easy. I see people online fixing complex game systems at home only learning how to do so through other videos.

Maybe a store should receive monetary donations for poor people to use. Maybe it should be legal to give out old food for the homeless over throwing it all out at the end of the day. That beats what they are doing already, eating from the garbage. I knew I needed a better place to be homeless while I was freezing in Albuquerque. First I needed a warmer place, but second I saw people on the news taking freshly thrown away things and bringing it to the homeless. That made me make up my mind to move here.

We should let the homeless have their mini homes. Fortunately homes are becoming cheaper to make all the time. Even automated with drones, robotics, and 3D printing. With just a little bit of new technology maybe it will come to pass that everyone can have a home. If this fusion energy breakthrough comes then energy will be limitless. That was once thought impossible. We are advancing towards that every day. It would mean that there will be no lack of energy anywhere for any reason. So providing energy for these little homes would be highly feasible. Unfortunately they make it so that a home is not a home without power, water, and sewage. I think that a roof over the head is better than nothing.

The Philanthropy Of Science And Technology

Science and tech can be the most philanthropic of ventures. Bill Gates is very giving. He wants Malaria to be wiped out among other things. There are lots of helpful side effects whether or not they were created for philanthropic purposes or to get rich off of. I believe that God will bring with Him all of those kinds of advances we need. I believe that angels are some form of aliens. “After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.“

They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” Acts 1:10-11 NIV.

I couldn’t equate them to “humanely” bodies, but rather those which are beyond that realm of things. So all I mean really is: they reside somewhere deep out there in space. A distance for us immeasurable but for them a short distance. Maybe beyond our very physics. God is not limited to physics. Those are things that even we can warp to some extent. They say that nothing can travel beyond the speed of light but we have proven science wrong before, many times in fact. God made physics. Maybe alien beings live under different conditions. They are not subject to things like eating and death. That all depends on God.

As far as helping others go we should certainly bring science and technology into consideration. It is through them that we move beyond a temporary fix into a permanent solution. Maybe our bed room mad science can come up with a thing or two. It is too bad that we focus on better smartphones over things that could help the poor and the suffering. Sooner or later we will get to the breakthroughs that we need. We sure live it up while people don’t have the least of what we own. God would think of it as misappropriated.

The Bible tells of a wonderful place where the streets are paved in gold. Jesus said that he is going to God to make for us a room.  “ My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?” The house is the kingdom. Our home is the room. That room was made just for us.

Moses, Elijah, Abraham, Samuel, were all recognizable in Heaven. They could be spoken to. They spoke as human beings do. They remained identifiable. This shows that their form was not made unrecognizable. They were only now in Heaven instead of on earth. When David’s son died he said that someday he will see him in heaven.

49 Now, our bodies are like Adam’s body. But in heaven, our bodies will be like the body of Christ.

50 Christian brothers, our bodies which are made of flesh and blood will not go into the holy nation of God. That which dies can have no part in that which will never die. 51 For sure, I am telling you a secret. We will not all die, but we will all be changed. 52 In a very short time, no longer than it takes for the eye to close and open, the Christians who have died will be raised. It will happen when the last horn sounds. The dead will be raised never to die again. Then the rest of us who are alive will be changed. 53 Our human bodies made from dust must be changed into a body that cannot be destroyed. Our human bodies that can die must be changed into bodies that will never die. 1 Corinthians 15:49-53.

Our bodies will be like that of Jesus while he was on Earth. We will have our old bodies, only with those qualities added to it. After his resurrection, Jesus was recognizable. He still had the markings on his hands. Thomas said, “show me the markings on your hands and I will believe.” They could not tell Jesus apart from the time he died until the time he resurrected. We will resurrect in a similar way. We will have these human bodies but in the form of that of Jesus Christ.

Heaven is a city and a country (Hebrews 11:10, 13:14.) It is described as a place of mountains, atmosphere, water, trees, people, and houses in Revelation 21-22.

We will remember our lives on earth. Matthew 12:36 and 2 Corinthians 5:10 states that we will give an account to what we did on earth after entering into heaven.

Bad People Ruin Things For Everyone

We would probably have much more freedom were it not for bad people. As a result of what they do, people are searched more, greater regulations must be put in place, more people are suspected, less are trusted, tighter security is needed, prices are higher, rules are stiff, money is lost, and penalties are harsher.

Without the transportation of drugs things would not have gotten where police “take a chance” on them being inside. You could add “foolish people” to bad people. Were it not for their reckless driving we wouldn’t have such tight safety protocols. Bad people lie through their teeth when they are caught. When an honest person does come around then they are not believed. They may have not even done anything wrong. There has been rampant shoplifting lately that has raised the cost of things. Not only that but whole isles are under lock and key now. In fact I can tell of a store that has locked up every last thing. When a good person does slip up then a harder penalty awaits them.

Take another example that people waste too much and so a tax was put on trash bags. People get diabetes from eating too much sugar, let's tax it. Granted that these things may be done just for some tax revenue, but if that is so, it’s bad people doing it. They were marketing vape devices to the young and now nobody can have them, at least here in San Francisco. Just about the time I was going to switch over to the potentially better thing, vaping, they were made illegal here. People must fight for their rights. If they abuse them however, then that goes poorly for all. They get to where they slander just because they can. Sometimes they are mistaken thinking things like they can shoot a person out of self defense (or so they think it was but wasn’t.) Misinterpretation of rights can have a bad outcome.

We had a Whole Foods Market come to our city. That is an honorable thing for a city to have. Due to rampant drug use in the area it was placed it had to shut its doors and leave town. Children have to walk past these kinds of people. The businesses near them have to close down. Larger stores have to close because shoplifting really is that bad. Then people complain that they have to go further to get their groceries. And with how people are right now, they take it personally.

Bad people can ruin a whole democracy. Things like curfews come up. Things like military police are brought in. It would be better if bad people were all gotten in one strong sweep and locked up. That is what happened to a nation recently. They locked up a thousand or more gang members all at once. They brought humility to them. They had them locked up by the wrists and feet sitting down in long rows. Keep in mind, these sorts of people traffic drugs, traffic people, murder, rob, and do the worst of things.

These people think that anarchy would be a nice thing. That being without police is freedom. They only make lawless authorities rule over them in the end. They don’t operate on human and civil rights. They’d slit your throat if you did them wrong. They wouldn’t search you, they’d just stop you and take away everything you had. They’d beat you if you looked at them the wrong way. Those are the kinds of authority present in a state of anarchy. We establish law and order for a reason. Reasons as for our protection and the protection of our loved ones, for “civil” reasons. Fair reasons. To put tax dollars where they should go. In a state of anarchy the strongest among them just take everything you have for them and their gangs.

Bad people slander politicians. Eventually it gets to where nothing they do is right, and they stop caring. Maybe they are just tired of political-talk. Maybe they are beginning to see through these elaborately made speeches and just want them to talk to them in a normal way. I know one thing, I wouldn’t have a smile on my face with how things are right now. I would feel a bit more like things are hopeless. I would come out and say they are. I would be honest about it. I would say we are living in a hell of a storm so buckle up and get ready. That there is nothing that can be done about how things have become such a mess. That the best we can do is survive until the dust settles and we can go from there. Honesty like that would be a truly powerful message.

The United Cult Of America

People have always needed religion. It is a part of our nature. It is ingrained in our biology from times of old until now. A cult has special words. They have these words that define their enemies and what they do and what they are made up of. A cult isolates in certain ways. A cult has martyr figures to inspire them. Cults have a strict adherence to beliefs. They will fight tooth and nail on its behalf. They are vicious to anyone who does not conform to who and what they are. They would ostracize them or use any means at their disposal to black list them.

We do not have to belong to their numbers. In fact if we do, we reject God in the process, turning over to the most non religious cult in history. We cannot worship what they worship. We cannot bend to their symbols, their leaders, figures, or cause. We do not have to. If we refuse to be a part of them and they punish us for it, we must continue to not get ourselves involved with what they do and believe. The early Christians did not fare well against the rulers of the day. They were hunted down. History might be repeating itself only in a different way. We must stay with what we truly know and believe without it being tarnished. That is in The Bible and its true message.

If we have to isolate ourselves from this is it for the better. If we have a good church to turn to then all the better. We can’t speak either for or against them. We have to just go along with what is happening and blend in if we have to. We should do well not to put ourselves on the spot. We should not stand out and have ourselves targeted. We should just pretend to agree. This cult of today is a dangerous one. It is the most unholy thing.

If you find yourself starting to make apologies and excuses for yourself then that’s a sign that it is starting to invade your thinking. We do not look for their forgiveness. We look for God’s forgiveness.

Not Becoming Tainted By Bad People

I have had to walk out on more than a few bad situations that bad people would put on me. One day in Tucson sort of in this hill area there were people in doors doing drugs. I walked out when this guy stopped me. He told me to go into someone’s house and take the meat from his freezer. If I was anyone else it may have happened, to think of that, how things can either go wrong or right. I walked away from the guy. Told him no and walked away. He started to follow after me and I had to run a while to get away from him. It goes to show you that they will use people instead of risk getting into trouble themselves.

There were a few times when drugs were put right in front of me. Normally no one cared. A guy said “there’s a first time for everything,” for me, however, I am 42 years old. I have never taken drugs. Nor will I ever. I have seen three or four people smoking crack while I just sat there. Maybe they were happy they didn’t have to share. After all, I was renting a shack from one of them there. Was paying the guy a hundred dollars a month.

We are a product of what family we were born into. I have seen both sides and chose the more Chrisitan family. One sexualized everything, cursed all the time, had me playing with knives when I was a child. The other brought me to church at the age of 5. Never cursed. Never sexualized things. Had no perversion. Believed in discipline and would not spoil while the other would. One did not care if I had new school clothes or even food. With one I lived off of toast with syrup for days at a time. He was gone on the truck all the time as a trucker. The other was a Christian family. So were his grandparents. Very much so. It is clear to me that this was the better family.

A Christian born into a bad family has a lot of work cut out for them. I imagine that few will and are able to. They are taught that bad things are good things. They’ll never have known the difference. You can’t always see what is bad. You can only see bad by knowing what’s good. To bad people, they can be blind towards it. So a Chrisitan in that instance has to go against their nature. They have to stop cussing and become moral. If this is the case for you then good for you. I am most proud.

The world can carry us away if we become too involved in it. We start to talk to God less and less. If we become wrapped up in the world we neglect our spiritual side. It is never a good thing to forget God, even for a short time. And as for what fell among the thorns, they are those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature. Luke 8:14 ESV.

1 John 2:15-17 KJV.

On Establishing Better Things

I wonder if politicians are up late at night thinking about what to include or not include in a budget. Or is it something that they just quickly get it over and done with? They seem to frivolously spend our money. Often in the name of good it is spent. There is a way of how convolution can get too great. That is when a budget gets so needy and bloated that it pops. There are more and more institutions and all else to keep afloat. Instead, more should be expected out of people, they should be expected to be at least a little strong in their lives instead of tending to their every need.

Given regulation (protocol, rules, standards) versus freedom we should always lean towards freedom. Give freedom the double weight.  Also weigh freedom heavier than things made for people-protection. Let people learn from their own mistakes. Don’t stop them if they are insistent on making them. Just let them. Break them loose. We can’t stop them from doing what they do anyway. Untold sums of money are saved that way and the people who are responsible people will not have lost rights due to them. Our abilities will expand, our opportunities will grow, our taxes will be greater… will be better used.

We have to discipline our children or else we will raise the worst generation imaginable. A kid that is able to go unpunished for foolish behavior will in all ways have it in their nature to do wrong things. There were these teenagers in the news recently that were throwing large rocks at cars and killed someone. There were a group of teenagers that went into a store just to trash it and leave. In the school I went to we were swat for doing wrong. Believe me, it kept us doing good. The same with my father and the belt, and his with the belt, and all of his children grew up to be outstanding adults. By not being strict enough, schools are spoiling our children.

We need a harder work ethic. We want significance to be placed on it. We want people able and willing to learn great talents. Perhaps that is coming true however. Thanks to online education a person can learn things far beyond what any book could teach them. Unfortunately many people don’t use the internet for anything more than posting pictures of their food and going off into long talks with a small audience. It is a great time to be an inventor however. It is a great time to learn a new talent. All the knowledge we could need has been put before us and is easily accessible.

We need the kind of technology that helps people. As I’ve said before: faster food production, free energy, homes easily created, universal basic income, and things like that.

We need tougher laws. Sometimes that is the best we can do. No one should be able to make a mockery of the law. People should be aware that if they break the law then there are stiff penalties. We could also use some new tech that would aid in apprehending criminals or stopping them in their tracks. It could only take a little in fact. Like a camera that can identify a person and the movement they have all around.

We need to come to our senses too. This cult of things I was talking about earlier cannot last forever. At least it has the quality of destroying itself. Anything taken quickly to the extreme easily “pops.” It won’t be around much longer. It cannot carry its own weight. Besides, the villains of today are the heroes of tomorrow. Besides that people like being the villain. That is a villain in their terms. Not mine. Whatever “bad” and “rebel” is created is at first a victim and later a victorious thing because it has the forbidden fruit.

Finally, we need to return to the Bible. Those things listed above are what the Bible would have from us. We need God back in our society. That is the most important thing.

Seeing People In A Better Light

Philanthropy sorts of seeps through when we see a drug addict as a faultless person who just has an addiction. We should understand the difficulty they have in life instead of thinking poorly of them and desiring their punishments over it. I am sure that some police are like “got one!” The moment they find drugs on these people.

Everyone has a soul. Everyone has their problems in life. Some have more difficulty than others. Some may seem bad and rude yet they try their best not to be. They could just be people who are unable to be happy due to bad things that happened to them in their lives. They may get angry one day and show it, but it doesn’t represent them in full. Unfortunately humans regard the bad more than they do the good.

People deserve a second chance. That is a thing lost in today’s world. They would make a mistake to be a mistake in full. A person could pay a heavy social price over small momentary things. Christianity believes in forgiving people. When they apologize we would accept it, they would not, but we would.

Some people live sad lives. Some only need a friend. Some are bullied and a friend would make every difference in the world. It takes a brave person and a good person to reach out to those who are treated poorly. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  As Jesus said.

Jesus did not look down on people. His disciples were all sinners. 10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? 12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. 13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Matthew 9:10-13 KJV.

Jesus called on Paul to teach too, someone who described himself as the worst sinner that ever was.

People all have their hopes and fears. We all have a need to be loved. We all have a need to feel important and appreciated. When we begin to see that side of people then we have come far in understanding them better. A person who is cold hearted grew up in an unhappy way. Yet they see their children happy and it makes them smile. Someone who seems to have more liberty than us makes us laugh.

When Evil Is On The Rise

People like war too much. Sometimes those in power want greater power. Sometimes they are irked to hate lower nations and wish to take them over. War has been with us for as long as Kings have existed. That has been for a very long time. Preventing wars from occurring at all can prove too daunting. We like to think that we can stop them from happening. It seems to me that sooner or later things are going to burst from the seams and a major war will occur. No amount of nation policing can stop that. That policing becomes something that is despised. People return to their nature and just like that, another war. One maybe even worse than any before it. The arguments between nations grow larger in the meantime. The arguments get worse. Then someday an all out fight occurs, maybe even one on a global scale.

The same can be said over a civil war. When people are sharply divided there are war tendencies from people. How else can either side ultimately win without one? They can argue all they want. It is like arguing with a brick wall. Both sides are closed minded. They will not hear each other out. They maintain their own thoughts against the other side. They won’t move an inch. So arguments become physical. People gather in large groups and become physical. They both try to force their way through. By then they have learned to despise anyone on the other side.

When anarchy is on the rise…

That can happen because the laws are not tough enough. It can happen when people are not at peace with their lives. It can happen when people just don’t care about the law. It can happen when they can’t respect the law. It can also happen when they have no respect for society as it is. If people do not respect their own nation then that can lead to anarchy. It can lead to the desire to upturn things to what they’d rather have it be. It is found in the power of groups. Depending on their numbers and desire for control, the greater the anarchy it produces.

When sin is on the rise…

We are seen to become more animal-like. Spirituality has always put the spirit in favor and that has better results than flesh based existence. The world loses a lot of meaning due to it. People are just pleasure seekers and do not really care about the greater world over all. They don’t focus on things that make the world better. They only focus on the next good thing to have. Such people are easy to control. They are easily seen for who they are. They are easily pleased. They are easy to keep content. They don’t have any use for intellect and problem solving.

The world becomes more simplistic because of it. People spend more time on things like food, lust, the carnal, drugs, and TV than they do on meaningful things they could bring to the world.

Animal-like living also leaves people more vulnerable to negative emotions. By those regards chaos can ensue. If you take a heart and soul out of a person then that is what you have. If they have no God that watches over them and desires they live better, more spiritually, then you are left with a bad thing.

When godlessness is on the rise…

We still have idols. They just took on different forms. Modern idols are things like trademark signs whether on a coffee cup, fast food sign, or logo. We live for those things. Commercials promote them and create a lust in people to have them. The more expensive the better and without these symbols on them they lack most of their worth. You can even say that these fast food places that come with mascots are demonic in nature and the food they serve is like a sacrifice. I am not a vegetarian but I can only think of slaughtering (how many cows every day?) as an abomination. I googled that and it said that every year in the US 36 million cows are slaughtered.

Zephaniah 1:14-18 describes how bad things will be in the end.

Matthew 10:21-23 says of the end times:

21 “Brothers will turn against their own brothers and hand them over to be killed. Fathers will hand over their own children to be killed. Children will fight against their own parents and will have them killed. 22 Everyone will hate you because you follow me. But the one who remains faithful to the end will be saved. 23 When you are treated badly in one city, go to another city. I promise you that you will not finish going to all the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes again. NKJV.

A thing I saw on the news yesterday was that a woman allegedly killed her husband and then made a book about the awful loss. She made a children’s book with the help of her children about the death of her husband and their father. We have been seeing a lot of instances where family is killing family. There was a guy that went over to his brother’s house, asked a few questions about their mother, “she was at this place or that,” I guess he thought his brother should have been taking care of her or something. So he forced his way in and shot his brother to death. He also tried to kill his sister and law. Then he set their house on fire. Then there was the woman who had an argument with her husband and burned their house down, sitting on the lawn in a lawn chair and watching it burn down.

As for apocalyptic things…

People want to be judge and jury. They will not relent in having people prosecuted. They are the ones that should make those choices, or so they think. Evil getting in means perversion everywhere. Satan would have us be animals, not human beings. He would have us kill each other. He would allow a route for sin but no route for what is Holy. He would take the victim and make them the wrong doer. He would have the villain be the good guy. He would break apart law and order altogether. Those are his intentions and it is in his power to do so. God however, has the last say. With patience and wisdom He will fix everything. For having accosted the world with evil things, Satan faces eternal damnation. Those who are at his side do as well.

Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. Revelation 1:3 NIV.

When Good Is On The Rise

People are beginning to take things like rules more seriously. They are starting to desire a better world for all. They have turned away from hate and choose to love and care more about others. Crime has gone down a lot. People are now living together more peacefully. Things are better established. Their society may have collapsed prompting a return to better things. They then begin to form a thing that was better than before. They have acknowledged the faults they all shared and have agreed to make things better than before.

On a lighter note, it can mean that with one entity a thing will succeed whereas with another it can go no farther. Like Nintendo saving the video game market. Some have it in their power to save an industry and many get to enjoy those things because of them. Were it not for them then the whole thing would have died out and forgotten. Maybe it’s no wonder why some say Nintendo means “luck of heaven.”

Greater good would form if we stopped meeting people the whole way and instead expected them to fend for themselves, at least a little. Maybe a little at first then a little more. The Bible would be on that side. It would have us work more than we do in the world today. Personal responsibility can go a long way.

May philanthropy have the greater power (amen.) If we must go to war then let it be for philanthropic purposes, because that is the best reason to fight. That is the only good reason to fight… to save the lives of others, to regard their suffering under a tyrant, and things like that, make up the only reasonable war. A new nation will then arise. Hopefully one that will come to bring great things into the world. That instead of bowing down and worshiping a leader, unquestionably working for them, and having little to no life otherwise.

After the fall… the good rise. We give ourselves to chaos at some point. At some point we face the destruction of every little thing we have established. Things as they are can only be kept together for so long. Things start to be thrown into the gears by confused people. Leaders don’t want that but that is what happens. Only a complete breakdown can lead to a new society. One not so cumbersome. One of new and different values. Not until these things have happened and the dust has settled will we find one. It comes when things become so convoluted that they can no longer be managed. Perhaps they can no longer be taken seriously. Perhaps people have grown to hate their own standards. Maybe they are tired of the means and ways of living that have been put before them. Those and the thoughts and lifestyles they were forced into. To breathe the open air again things have to change.

Being On The Side Of…

Truth– Honesty is the best policy. When we put a false thought into a person’s head then that is a sin and a bad thing. Some would make others believe they did things they did not. They didn’t earn that belief they give, you could say. They give people false thoughts to who they are. Don’t trust such people if ever it is you find them doing so. They plant falsehoods in the heads of others to appear better and greater than they are. I have two examples of this sort of thing. The first is that I once walked over 8 miles to see my family who was in a neighboring town. I was almost there, maybe another 30 minutes to go, walking. A car stopped and I decided to take the ride they offered. I didn’t tell my family I walked the whole way. I could have. But even if it looked like I just hitched a ride I told them the truth. Then at one time I was playing a video game that I basically cheated at (using save states and looking up puzzle problems instead of solving them myself.) So I never told anyone that I beat that game. I didn’t, not really.

I am glad I don’t have anything bad to hide. I had this strange nightmare once. It was like I entered into the mind of a murderer. He had placed a dead body into a swamp. He was full of dread, like his crime had a physical and tangible form. It gave him a deep depression. He couldn't think about anything other than that swamp. It puts what they must be thinking into perspective. I watch interrogation videos sometimes. It is a guilty pleasure of mine. They verbally defend themselves for hours sometimes. All the while masterfully guided into telling the truth. They break them down until the truth comes pouring out. What I see is a person who is obviously guilty. Any not guilty person would have started yelling that it wasn’t them instead of trying to provide things like scenarios, stories, and “reasons” why it could not have been them.

Compassion– If you have a good heart then it pains you to see bad things happening to others. You might get angry when you see horrible things happening to others. You put things into perspective. You know just a little more (at least) how bad it must have been to someone. Like this guy who was driving drunk with his brother beside him, wrecks his car, and he survives but his brother does not. His mother is then with them at the hospital. How awful that must have felt for them. When something truly bad happens to someone it can bring about a collective rage. One of them was the recent George Floyd incident.

We should not work in places which exist to help others if we do not care to help others in the first place. Our care should be sincere. I was homeless once needing some shoes. The person in the place that gave them to me gave me some ladies shoes and complained at me. One day it was raining and I was homeless and soaked, and wasn’t allowed into a church. I wanted to attend the sermon then get the food that they offered. They fed the homeless. They expected me to dress nice. It was a thing totally against the Bible. The person I was unfortunate to deal with said “give him the sack lunch, he’s not coming in.” I told her that it isn’t her house (it is God’s house) and she treated me like I was racist and demanded that I leave.

Understanding– We should have a positive understanding of people as much as we can. If we begin to start thinking negatively of them then we should take a step back. Sometimes people goof up. Sometimes they have a bad day. Sometimes they just make a mistake. We should forgive and just as God wisely corrects so should we. “Make your judgments be righteous.” People really can turn around. They deserve a second chance. Sometimes we have to bear with people. They may present problems that can’t be changed. Unless they are abusing us or something then the best we can do is to tolerate them.

Work– There comes a time for us all when we have to leave home and start a career. We may go to college first, or even a university. We might be blessed with attending a pretty good one too. We find ourselves doing something we never had to do before. We have day long jobs now and face the fact that without them we could be homeless. Some are handed down jobs based on talents. We may have a relative that has a business we work at. Or we may have a father who teaches us his talent which took him a lifetime to learn. Whatever it is we should expand into better jobs over time not continuing on forever into fast food or such things. We could get a certificate if not a degree. Like for nursing, food handling, or counseling. We may get a job in the clergy. Maybe we will even make our dreams come true via entertainment jobs, becoming an author, or an inventor of something that is worth lots.

We should teach our children to work. We should give them chores. We should give them options on what they would work on too. You might offer choices to them. Such as leather work, wood work, programming, electronics, tailoring, or whatever it is. We should leave those options open and guide them into the best fit. We should also encourage more work from people in society with food help and such things given only to the most “qualified deserving.”

Peace– To me there is a lot of noise going on. Everyone is desperately yelling at each other. Things are very unsettled in America today. I live in San Francisco so I hear a lot of it. I would just go to the store and come home. My life is very simple compared to theirs. I don’t hold on to complications like they do. I look around and see that things are only bad because of a spoiled generation. I don’t want things to be that way for them but they seem like they cannot do without their problems and issues. It is like an urge to war for them. They break down the other side. They get smarter all the time. They break down the other side more smartly. They have their little battles to wage. What they really seek is an all out war against the other side. One that has no genuine basis, just done for its own sake.

Purity– Innocent people can be oblivious to the evil part of things. They can live honest, good, and law abiding lives even when evil is in their midst. Hopefully they never have to suffer from the acts of evil people. We have to keep our guard up and know that evil does exist. Innocent people lead good harmless lives and do right in every regard. They’ve earned what they have. That is just why things like robbery and burglary should be taken much more seriously than it is. If we had only cared about and understood innocent people greater then we would have come to that conclusion: there should be nothing but the harshest punishment for those who would break in and rob them of what they have. Evil against good should be taken most seriously. Evil is a weed. Evil is a thorny, harmful, and destructive weed. Let us know them for what they are.

Righteousness– There are no values, virtues, or high standards among animal-like people. Modern psychology has become a course on making people more animalistic. High standards make things more difficult in life but a little goes a long way, a greater amount can change everything for the better. It just means doing no wrong. It means living right. It means seeing bad things for what they are and doing something about it. It means not putting up with bad people doing bad things. It means working for a better world hand in hand and expunging bad things from it. It starts by teaching people right and wrong. To instill that in our children. To punish those who disobey the law, without prejudice. It comes from teaching people to do what is good and reject what is bad.

The law– A good person may at worst face a misdemeanor. They might live a lifetime only having received a fine. The exceptionally well will not even have that happen to them. Bad people face the harder lot. They may end up doing things that lock them up for five years. The worst, for a lifetime there. So we are fortunate while they are not. I couldn’t live with myself thinking that at any time I could be apprehended. I could not be so confident as to think it would never happen. Some of these people kept from being caught for ten years but in the end they were found. Some people would slander the police, would greatly disrespect them, cannot be cool in any manner, then think that “it is in their right, so deal with it.” The thing is, police are people too. There is no magical thing making them able to tolerate disrespect more than any other person could. So they turn a small matter into a large one and end up getting arrested. Unfortunately they sometimes sue for millions of dollars after that.

I won’t own a gun. I am not even sure if I know how to use one. I don’t own one because self defense can be an uncertain thing. You could have really had your life threatened by a person yet you use one and the law determines that it wasn’t necessary to save your life.

However we do need more of the kind of people who would genuinely save lives. That would defend any victim of a crime they might have witnessed. That we work together to fight horrible things from occurring. People have grown too selfish to do things that way. There was this lady being stalked by someone. She went right into a store and pleaded for them to call the police. They just ignored her, continuing to make sandwiches. The guy comes in and assaults her after that. Or the guy that records someone who was just stabbed and dying on the sidewalk. That was another thing that recently happened.

On the other hand we find people who stopped bad people. Such as these people stealing in blatant ways (filling up their bags with goods and leaving.) You know what though? We find a public that cheers them on and when the security guard holds onto them for the police to get there they are told things like “let her go! She’s just a female,” or “hurry up and get out of here before the police come!”

Positive emotions– There is no such thing as “having to vent your emotions or else they will erupt.” When you think that way you decide to be angry or whatever it is instead of learning to control it. You really can take things to the minimum without feeling any uncontrollable urges as a consequence. To me, anger is painful, so I choose not to feel it. You too can find that power. If I am going to have to deal with a problem then I am going to do so calmly and rationally. That is how things should be for people. One spout of anger and cursing can get us into a lot of trouble. If psychologists are right in what they teach then why have emotional problems become so bad? They encourage free for all behavior where everything is justified.

Positive emotions are: hope, optimism, happiness, joy, and pride (sometimes). With reduction of stress we live better and longer lives. So feel well over feeling bad. Have happy thoughts over hateful sour thoughts. People who do will save themselves from a lot of misery and turmoil. We could soak for hours in things like self pity if we allow ourselves too. Choose to be strong instead.

The Good Intentioned– A good father has the perspective that it hurts them worse than it hurts you. I find it a pain to be mistaken as a person who doesn’t like another. I am non emotional enough to go along with it. It isn’t that I don’t care but it is just that, I don’t. I could pretend to like someone and like seeing them when I do. I could be talkative to them. I would just be lying to both of us however. The truth is that I am a guy that loves being alone and being left alone. To pass by anyone I want to without doing as much as saying hello. It’s all in my nature to have things that way. The Bible says that we should be sincere with our emotions.

We can get paranoid at times that people hate us. We can see what is normal communication as bad communication when it's not. We just have this bad feeling towards them, one that makes us feel that they don’t like us when there is no real reason to think that. The truth is, that we are pretty much forgotten the moment we leave the room. People don’t think so nearly as much about us as we think they do. What does their little thinking and opinions matter anyway?

Responsibility– We have to own up to what fruit we produce, we have to accept that we reap what we sow. If we have to face a problem to make it right then we should do so without reservation. We should not cheat our way through. We should not take any honor we do not deserve. We should get by truthfully. Unless we need help meant for us and cannot have it otherwise, we should not take it.

I have a different way of thinking when it comes to people in school using things like AI to do their work. I feel that a lot of time can be saved from dropping those subjects which technology can aid them in. In fact we should teach them how to fully benefit from that technology. We have the best mathematical calculators in our pockets (a smart phone.) Just because it is not taught doesn’t mean we can never get the knowledge back. Should we pretend that this tech doesn’t exist?

Human Rights And Philanthropy– Unfortunately rights do not come free and can be quickly lost unless we continue to put up a fight to keep them. Some live under horrible dictatorships. If you commit a crime (which is a menial misdeed there) not only are you prosecuted (without trial) but so is your whole family. Civilian lives do not matter to these people. In the worst instance we have the Nazi’s. If you have never seen the movies “The Pianist,” or “Schindler’s List,” then I recommend them.

There are some under strict labor camps over speaking against these sorts of rulers. They are brutally executed. There are those of war crimes which would use horrible chemicals against civilians. Even the destruction of a civilian apartment building should not go unpunished. It breaks my heart when I see that a person has lost their family because of such a thing. “Why?” they ask.

Then there are civilians that do horrible things. They sell deadly drugs to make a living (off of death.) They are human traffickers. They take good girls and get them hooked on drugs so they can profit off of them. They are mass murderers killing large groups of people. Unless it happened to us we can never imagine how bad those things feel. These are the true enemies of God and The Holy.

Jesus Christ, God, And The Bible– Has much more to say on all of it.

The Bible is the greatest book of wisdom that ever was. Without it we cannot live under the wisdom of God. It is a book that can turn around a person’s life for the better. It provides the best social construct for lawmakers and any who would rightly build upon society. If a person sincerely turns to the Bible then they can take a lot of bad behavior and correct it. The Bible creates a line between the good and the wicked. It teaches right and wrong better than we can, personally. It is a book of empowering our spirit and soul. It is a book of breaking down the wicked and building up the Holy on earth. Without it we will fail in these ventures time and time again.

I pray that God’s wisdom enters into your life. I pray for a good future for those who follow His will. I pray that evil never finds you. I pray you never encounter evil. May God be with you and your loved ones protecting you in these hard times. Then someday we will all see each other and live together in heaven as God’s children, without even a whisper of sin to ever be heard again. Amen.

The Importance Of Family

They say that blood is thicker than water. I had lots of friends in grade school but there is not a single one I still talk to. They were poor influences at times. One of our teachers talked about just that. That we should focus on school because that is where our future is. He told us that someday we will no longer hang out in these crowds. He was right! Some people grow up to no longer talk to their family. The reasons can vary and some reasons are better than others. Sometimes that is an easy choice to make. Sometimes it is the right choice to make, such as if they were abusive towards you. As for me I had a great family and continued talking to them in my 40s. I send them gifts and write letters here and there.

More often than not I see and hear of families that are good in nature. They live the typical lives of celebrating holidays, birthdays, and invite friends over to play video games, doing children and teenager stuff. Good families just seem more common. All of my friends in grade school were doing ordinary things. Some of us had more money than others. Some had better clothes. If someone had a car early on they were very popular just for that. Same if they had a lot more video games than the other kids.

Teenagers are sharply focused on being popular… at school, not at home. It is a time when nature tells them to leave the house. That is something that can generate arguments between them and their parents. They start to lash out against rules and fatherly/motherly comforts, lessons, and certain things because their mind is telling them they should be on their own. I know I regretted some of the things I told my father in particular. I apologized for it as an adult and he just said “that is what the older generation calls growing pains.” He understood.

I had one sibling I was particularly close to. We always watched movies and played video games together. The only game my other brother enjoyed playing were Madden NFL games. I wish I gave just as much attention to my other family though. I wish I had been nicer in certain ways.

Sometimes a good family can mean the difference between being homeless or having a short stay with one of them. There is always one relative or another that may temporarily house you. If you look into it you might even find someone you haven’t seen or heard from in a while, if at all. My family was all I had to help me move. There was my dad and his tractor trailer. Now that I am alone out where I live, it is a nightmare getting something over to a new place. Sometimes the best help you can get only comes from family.

We have a Christian family too. For some of us, that may be the only family we have. We are all brothers and sisters together. We could call Jesus our brother, our greater and older brother. You could say that God adopted us when He gave us the gift of salvation. We will live with Him in Heaven at a future time. So we are growing up into a better thing. It is like the opposite of what happened in our family. Instead of moving out we are moving in. Instead of being on our own we will be given every help. We will have food provided for us again. We will have all we need again. We will have our own room again. That is something that hasn’t happened for us since we were children living at home with our parents.

The Kinds Of Leaders That We Need

We need leaders who are both strong and good. Sometimes good is misplaced by leaders though. They love to spend our money frivolously in the name of good. What good they can do! Spreading our money out everywhere into every arm, wasting it. A good leader doesn’t bend his/her knee to the bad whims of people. A good leader is strict in the right way. They don’t pass on blame to other people easily. They take responsibility or outright admit that there is no known thing they can do about it. They don’t have a smile on their face when horrible things are happening all around. They spend time and focus on solving really bad problems. They are not just there to speak words that appease the public.

They instead spend lots of time thinking about solutions. They are well educated and well informed about everything. They are professional politicians, not avant garde ones. What they have did not just fall into their laps.

We need leaders who look for better solutions than that of restricting rights. We don’t want leaders who run on ego. We don’t want those who have a disregard for our rights. We don’t need those who are obviously in the game for power gaining purposes. We need those who would honor our rights. They may even bring some of our old rights back if they have been lost or diminished. We need leaders who really do care about us and our rights.

We need leaders who are emotionally well. Anyone not blood thirsty for sure. None that have spirals of rage or even strong anger. Rather a calmer person in charge of their own feelings. I have heard it said before that schizoid characteristics are not a bad characteristic for a leader. Those are people who have very little emotion, are asexual to some extent, and are not so social. So their minds are in control over their feelings. They base their actions on logic over feelings.

Finally, we need Christian leaders. Leaders of compassion and moral law. Those who are sincerely Christian in their ways. They are philanthropists by design. They know God’s will and enact it. They have a great book to guide them, the Bible. We do not need any “name only” Christians though. We don’t need the kind that waves around the Bible and pretend to appreciate it. When we look into their lives and how they live and think then we should be able to tell if they really take it seriously or not.

Community Help Without Excess

At some point we have to expect people to meet us in the middle. Doesn’t have to be an exact middle. Just a reasonable amount that people should be expected to put in themselves. We cannot help people entirely: giving them everything free in life, unless they are seriously disabled, say autistic. We cannot make and keep people weak and dependent. We should instead make them stronger as much as possible.

It can be very surprising just how much people can do if they have to. It can also be surprising just how little people can do if they are not expected to. Sometimes a person unwilling to help themselves in any way should be left in that state. Sometimes however they just need someone to pull them up from the water, so to speak. They should be presented with one job or another and describe the reward it would bring them. Sometimes people just need to be pushed a little.

Getting people back on their feet may mean removing them from their comfort zone. They may have lived ten years becoming fully used to their homelessness. They may dream at the same time how nice it would be to have a roof over their head, food that can be counted on, a nice bed, nice things, clean clothes, a shower every day, and so on. But they have become used to the way they are living. Things should be more focused on getting them jobs than with how they are treated, enabling them in all ways to stay the way they are. Lots of them can’t get jobs because they need clean clothes, new clothes, a clean shave, and a shower. Those are the simplest things to give too. We can at least offer them jobs. We could at least have a place specifically made for them and guided there. It could even be a series of chores each day for a reward. That would create a work ethic in them.

The Totality Of Being At Peace

Comes when you place yourself entirely in God’s hands. The best we can do is to be assured that God is always with us. We can let our worries melt away. We can sit in happiness and comfort when we place the spirit over the flesh. We can ignore most problems. We can rationally fix them instead of running into a panic over them. We can win in life by being patient. We can put our thoughts and being into order. These lives on earth are just not everlasting. These things around are not either. The world can throw a lot at us. The more spiritual strength we have the better. That is the real way to peace.

When Helping Another Makes Them Dependant On You

I saw a girl in the hallway (in this hotel) that didn’t have any food. She was hanging around this guy living here that had corn dogs for her but no mustard. She asked if he had any. I went into my room and wanted to bring her some. That is the kind of thing I just cannot do however. Those sorts of things ruin my life. That may sound like a bad thing but it really does cause a lot of problems. I would never get her out of my hair after that. How many times I would have to say no and no again after that. In the past I used to give people things… to people who had money but would go around getting whatever extra they could. As for me I have always paid for the things I need on my own with my own money. In other words I am more responsible with my money. They were always at my door at all hours trying to get things from me and I was at a time in my life where I could not say no.

I learned though that I had to say no. There is no giving a person a small thing and then not being bothered by them forever forward. I used to take cheese chip snacks and pork rind snacks straight from my father’s hand when I was a teenager. I didn’t know at the time how rude that was! I have become more mindful of a person’s property and possessions and my own. These people who would take from me have their own money. Unless I am out in town I do not give things to anyone. I only do it on the outside because if you don’t you could get harmed by it. There have been instances where people are attacked for not doing so. There was this guy right up in my face yesterday. Just as aggressive as could be. He went on this loud and demanding talk about having trouble. The old “car needs gas thing, got stranded out here.” I saw right through it but pretended to believe him. So I gave him a small pouch of quarters and told him “good luck.” If I had not, then something bad could have happened to me, who knows.

There is a “teach a person to fish thing.” You know, instead of giving them a fish. I have lived in a lot of communities where one person gives one day and takes on another. Only some of them never have any pay back and so fights occur. They have one day, giving what they own. They take on another, if they can. I could not live that way. Hustlers are never going to pay you back. They’ll use every trick in the book to take from you. They will promise to repay double or triple. Then when the time comes they feel that it is too unfair to expect as much from them. All you gave them was (this) amount. There are a lot of games they would play with you. They’d make up every lie in the book as to why they can’t pay you back. Just don’t be fooled by these kinds of people.

How The World Is Like A Prison

That is not too Biblically inaccurate. Due to the sins of Adam and Eve we were driven from the garden (paradise) to till the land. Into a land of thistles and thorns and dangerous beasts, partially separated from God. We had to struggle for ages to get by. We succumbed to death one and all. We were given enormous resources however. From them we made life better and better. 16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. Matthew 20:16 KJV. The last of us are the most fortunate. Our lives are simply better the later in earth’s time that we get here. God knew us before we were even born. We were in Heaven with Him before we were born (Jeremiah 1:5.) Then God formed us into the womb. Why don’t we remember Heaven? There is a simple reason for that. We were born into a new mind. That would become our existence. Our early years didn’t allow anything to be remembered. Just imagine being an infant with a new mind and a new world before it.

You could say that of all the ways we can exist we exist in a way that carries a death sentence. Are we at fault for any past thing? We pay for the crime we inherited from our ancestors. It is not something we received from God. God would never do that to us. It came from the Devil in the garden and the foolish choices of Adam and Eve. God always has great wisdom in what He does. The way that things turn out because of Him comes from the greatest wisdom in all of the universe. Maybe it is that Satan thought he won this fight. But God lovingly sacrificed His son to save us. His son dwells again with Him in Heaven. He has had two thousand years there and the day will come when he returns as King. The earth will no longer belong to the Devil. Every knee will bend to Jesus Christ.

God created a lot from a little. What the Devil would have of us will no longer be. More than a garden of eden, on all of earth God’s kingdom will be. God is greatly praised and worshiped by so many. His church is in all places, some that are the most magnificent of places. Under God things always turn out right. Our shackles and bonds are broken by the power of God’s son. You could say we were paroled. We are just leaving this earth for a better place.

When The World Contends With You

The world can feel like a punishing place. No matter how right and nice you are you have to deal with hard people. In fact by being nice you are mistaken as being weak. Businesses only care about their profits. They’d end your work for them if it suits them. We can find disappointments in many places at many times. We may have even wished with our whole hearts for something better. Then we are let down by people who just do not care. There are people eager and willing to fight you the moment they find an opening. In life you can find times of hunger and needs that are not fulfilled, whatever they are. We might even be unjustly persecuted over something. The world is a tough place to live in compared to Heaven. This is a place of suffering. That is a place entirely without it. We deal with a lot. Maybe we should be proud of that. If we can overcome the world through Jesus Christ then we will enter into a life unimaginably greater.

In the meantime it is a never ending rocky road. Even the least of our problems are still problems, and are things absent in God’s kingdom.

Despite it all we can still be happy creatures. We still have our bright and happy moments. Some do anyway. Some live in utter depression, unfortunately. Some live in downtrodden ways. Some become victims of horrible things. It is those people we should pray for. It is those people who find the greatest relief in Heaven. The best we can do is reach out to those who need our help and do our best to make things better for them. Some are in people caring professions for just that reason. Some volunteer their help and nothing makes them happier.

As for the rest of us, we should do our best to not succumb to hardship. We should be as strong as we are able. We must do our work of keeping ourselves together. Bad things must exist to some extent and the only remedy is things like tolerance, working to improve things, getting the help we need, or whatever else it is.

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7.

As for me I have panic attacks and (medicated) Schizophrenia to deal with.

Staying Healthy

I think that emotional health is more important than physical health. If you have anger problems then obesity is especially harmful to your heart. Maybe I am wrong but perhaps the biggest cause of strokes is high blood pressure, caused by anger issues. I guess I am at least a little right about that. They say that nothing kills like stress does. So living a life of worry and concerns is not good for you. The Buddhists live long lives. Asian people do in general. Must be their diet and their spirituality. I am not saying to be a buddhist. In fact Christianity is just as powerful in making someone spiritually peaceful.

The good do not die young. They die older. They are spiritually well in their lives. They work, they don’t get into deep legal trouble or any legal trouble to begin with. Most importantly they live with God in their lives. They lead happier lives. They have better family lives. Their whole generations that follow benefit from it. They have a good dietary guide when it comes to the Old Testament. Daniel said “no pork, just give us the vegetables” while he and his fellow Hebrew people were locked up.

Obviously we shouldn’t smoke. Unfortunately some of us do, including me. At least I can say that I pretty much don’t smoke beyond 7 PM. Moderation on that does not help as good as it may on just about everything else. The Bible says we can drink but should not get drunk. Having a little bit of good food is not a bad thing. Moderation and balance goes a long way. Drugs can take a young and beautiful looking person and make them look like they are 70 years old. Drugs are the worst thing to get into. Among all the sins it enslaves a person the most. They stay up days at a time. They fool their minds with hallucinogens. They give an irresistible craving that must forever be satiated. They rob you of your every dime. They cause people to do the worst of things in order to buy more: whether that is selling oneself, stealing, robbing, or burglary for them. They are not concerned about potential prison time. They only have their thoughts on the next high which they must have at any cost.

 Summary

Knowing good from bad is easy. Choose to be good and do good. See evil and wickedness for what it is. Have no part of it. When someone tempts you to do wrong, refuse to. If you must escape, escape. Bad people would use you in any way they can for ill gotten gains.

We should live our lives right and honestly. Living right takes some responsibility from us. We should work jobs and be productive in our lives as much as we are able to. We should admit the mistakes we make and try to do better. We should remain blameless as much as possible. We should abide by the law. We should follow the rules required of us depending on where we live, if they exist.

We should be good to one another. The greatest commandment that Jesus gave us was “love others like you love yourself.” We forgive. We are kind and respectful. We should be very understanding. We should see people in a positive light. We should focus more on the good in people over the bad in them. We should not let our negative feelings grow too strongly, because they will overwhelm us and fill us with hate.

If we have a family then we should take care of those in it. We should give our children good lives. We should raise them as a Chrisitan would. That means not spoiling them. It means appropriately disciplining them. We provide what we need to. We give them happy lives because without a happy life they will not grow up well. We cannot forget our Chrisitian family too.

We should live by God’s will. God has made His will known to us in the Bible. We should come to know the Bible, too. The Bible is not a difficult book to learn. The things it has to say are memorable, especially the much smaller New Testament section. God would have us doing right over wrong. He would have us have faith in Him and pray to Him. He wants us to have Him in our lives.

We must have our influences be good ones, not negative or harmful ones. There are lots of grotesque things that exist in the form of entertainment. Yet there are lots of much more wholesome things as well.

We should live good and moral lives. We should not allow sin to overtake them. We should be in control of ourselves and our feelings. We should have some level of discipline in our lives. Win sin starts to become harmful then we must reduce it or remove it from our lives. Even if the whole world is in on doing bad things, we are not among them.

We should do the world itself right. We should not bring bad things into the world or into the lives of people.

We should be more with God than with the world. God is forever. What He offers us in Heaven is forever. We should put our hearts in Heaven. “Where your heart is, so is your treasure,” as Jesus said. The world will generate problems that have nothing to do with Christianity. It compounds people and has them deeply enveloped in it. As for us, we know the Bible, we know God’s word and God’s will for us and if that contradicts what the world would have us be then so be it.

We should fight the good fight and conquer evil.

Thank you for reading. Until next time.

I have written three books before this one. They are:

Christianity in the End of Days

Christian Life and Christian Living

Becoming a Smarter Christian.

And I have more planned.

These are free (as ebooks) and in the public domain.

I will leave you here with my favorite part of the Bible, John 1:1-14:

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing  made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power  to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his  name: 13 which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
