Chapter Eleven

“Salvation?” The Analyst vs the Synthesist

reation, overall, seems to be fundamentally premised on the ethos that one can either settle comfortably in C maya—taking the good with the bad and thus generally accepting the paradigm—or, seeing that “there is more to this than meets the eye” and thus strive to find the Path that takes us back to the prime essence of all things.

Since not all of us will, in their lifetime, encounter a living Savior who will initiate us into the Path (they don’t exactly advertise themselves, and the world is replete with many a false teacher—“gurus”), how are we expected to play the Game such that a genuine Savior pulls us to him or her?

If we have never heard of a Living Savior, or we expect the departed Jesus to take us to Heaven, though in John 9:5 and John 14:6 he clearly said that “As long as I am in this world, I am the Light of this World…[and] no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”, is there an accepted, prescribed and authentic way to live our lives?

Even if there is, are there any good alternatives to going the way of the Path? What are the consequences of not playing the Game in the “right” way? Is there a right way? We discuss all this in this chapter. Alternatively, we can pose certain question.

Did God go into the trouble of making us independent Souls only for us to want to unravel it all and go back to the relative stillness of the Primordial? Or does God want the Game to continue such that “he” is never alone?

So, does God actually want us all back to “his” essence, as mystics aver? Is the Game a test to see if the Soul can retrace its steps back to the Primal Cause or if it will forever lose itself 51

in maya until the next Grand Dissolution? In short, are we to enjoy the Game or must we seek Salvation?

Those who advocate for returning to the Primordial would be the Analysts, and those advocating for the status quo and the ongoing evolution of civilization would be the Synthesists.

Of course, whether one wants to be “saved” or not will depend one’s personal ethos: what am I comfortable with?

What is it that might drive Synthesists to be comfortable with the status quo despite its often-cruel “survival of the fittest” ethos? Indeed, looking back at all that we have learnt thus far, it is apparent that the All-Source took much trouble to make elaborate mini-copies of itself.

And not only that, it was a process for the Father—the Custodian of all the power of the All-Source—to separate the All-Source’s essence as much as possible from Creation, so that the Soul can live an independent life and existence that is full of drama and excitement and challenges.

Through us, the All-Source is no longer alone, complete in itself. Indeed, being everythin g at once, the Grand Everything is a little like the Void: one vast and replete ocean of relative calm. Some Saviors, however, allude to a frenetic period they call the “misty chaos” …presumable an interlude within the relentless cycles whereby for that span only there exists no articulating harmonic we call the “vibrating Word”.

Then the Mauj (Will) burst forth and Shabd (the Word) was born. Then, by the emanation of Sat Purush (True Lord, i.e.

the Father) were all the worlds created.

In the lower ends of Creation, there is drama and boredom, fear and security, pain and pleasure, sickness and healing…all dichotomy. While we enjoy (or not) the “independence” that God created to vicariously appreciate “himself” through us, we find that we now appreciate the infinite from an essentially blind but admiring standpoint removed from the Creator.

52

Valid Ways to View “God”?

People, animals and plants who love our paradigm need to also accept their lot as part of a food chain, and must see the ethos of “life must subsist on life” as natural. Per that way of looking at things, there can be no shortage of the undulations of triumph and tragedy, of drama and routine…

So, for those who accept this ethos as “livable”, why would they want another paradigm? For many, why would they even believe there is another paradigm? After all, thoughts stay nicely hidden inside skulls, and you hardly know for sure whether someone is plotting good or evil: only actions might reveal this. It is all survival of the fittest—and those sitting comfortably at the top are not in a hurry to change things.

For those unsatisfied with our phenomenal world as-is, promises of “heaven” or “a new earth” are soothing. The only hitch is which of the many renditions and promises must we believe? But even for those on the Heavenly Path itself, they will likely find at least one of the more benign and alluring paradigms to be most satisfying. Then their appetite for the Hidden Giver will either diminish or cease. When this state is attained, the job of the Demiurge of the region is done.

The Gnostic understanding of a “Demiurge” is beyond the intended scope of this book. It is squarely addressed in my other work…in particular Yaldabaoth Explained. But even as that book explains, the often-misused term “Demiurge” needs disambiguation. Correctly understood, it reaches right into the heart of what “salvation” is all about.

When the Father (Akal Purush) separates Himself from all Creation that lies within the bound of Time and puts them under an alter-ego of sorts—Kal Purush (effectively a lower manifestation of the same Father), and then sets up what we counted as Seven Demiurges4—including himself—as each the 4 There are several ways we can break up the bands of frequency that make up Creation. As it is a spectrum, some may see or interpose a distinctive range which another may see as merely a subtle shift within a broad band. I follow Mark 16:9 when it says Mary was the woman out of who seven devils were cast out”.

53

sub-creator and administrator of a region within the hierarchy. The job of each Demiurge is to ensure that no Soul passes through to a higher paradigm. In reality, the Father is the last Demiurge—as it were--for he stops passage to the All-Source…unless one qualifies. Seven Demiurges in all…except we cannot really call the Supreme Creator a “Demiurge”.

Now, the Demiurge that stands in our way—who guards the way into the Astral Plane—is akin to a jailer. He rules the most terrible dimension of existence. We know it because we live in that dimension. The whole ethos and planning of Nature is that no one must sit comfortably here.

The roar of a tidal wave, the tremor of an earthquake, the eruption of a volcano, the fury of a hurricane, the upheaval of a tornado, the clap of thunder, the strike of lightning, the gape of a Black Mamba, the sting of a wasp, the roar of a hungry lion…all these and countless more fill us with dread, with a question: what on Earth am I doing in such a terrible place?

And it is all designed to make you ask that question.

But when we live in a green, pleasant, bountiful and idyllic location, we might never ask that question. Still…disease, death, handicaps, and many other setbacks or deficiencies may make us wish there was a “reset” button. But if we have no major impediments and instead have power, wealth and prestige, we could remain locked in this paradigm and we’d be happy if the status quo remained.

But in all cases, rare, rare is the Soul that wants only the Hidden Giver and will settle for nothing less. These are the Analysts. They wish to break down the whole, synthesized complexity of maya and access the Essence. Everyone else—a Synthesist—has a “price” (a paradigm)—where all searching will stop. Unless, of course, one has the guidance of a Savior.

And this brings us to one last consideration.

Most people seem to think that a Savior—even Jesus after he departed from this sphere of existence—will reach into the Mind or Soul and have the Comforter (or the Holy Spirit) take 54

Valid Ways to View “God”?

control of these faculties while we sit passively by…and in an instant make us suddenly and totally God-like, assured of being saved. Nothing could be further from the Truth and Jesus himself said so, as we will see.

One thing the Creator definitely “conceptualized” was to create independent points of view that the Creator can live vicariously through. No induced, robot-like love of the Savior or the Father is ever inserted into a Mind or Soul. Our minds are akin to the soil in Matthew 13:3-8, commonly known as the Parable of the Seed. The sower casts seed onto the soil and it falls into all sorts of conditions (minds). Some find good soil with depth and they flourish. Others find hard ground or weeds and they do not grow well, or at all.

That is why Jesus (Luke 22:32—KJV )had to sit in hope (“pray”) that Peter—when or if he is at last converted—will tend the “sheep”. (John 21:15-17) In reality, conversion is a Path wherein one has to change oneself through cultivating one’s own receptiveness to positive stimuli—as in exemplary behavior, a glimpse into uncommon knowledge, etc.

But no one reaches in and changes you. That’s not how it’s done—even as the Parable of the Seed teaches us. And Jesus implied that if one does not understand this parable then all one’s effort at finding God are wasted.

Effectively, when one behaves as if one is already in the Astral paradigm—where one’s thoughts are open for all to see through an aura—one will find themselves in that paradigm.

And once there, if one behaves as if in the Second Heaven paradigm, one is already there: the literal getting there is just a formality. So, why Jesus’ parables compare the “kingdom of heaven” to a spiritual state is little understood. And when he says, “Blessed are the meek” or “the Kingdom of God is inside of you” (Luke 17:20-21), I hope we now get it.

Most Christians are waiting for Jesus to return in a physical way. In the meantime they neglect their spiritual state as if they will suddenly change when that time comes. But Jesus 55

warns that the Kingdom comes not with observation. In other words it is spiritual: one’s spiritual state. In Matthew 24:23

Jesus also said he is not to be found here or there in the future.

He gives an example later in Matthew 24:42-44.

Jesus warns disciples about “prophecy” pointing to when he will come, saying if the goodman (i.e. master) of the house was to tell the thief exactly when he will be away, the thief knows exactly when to break in. So, if Jesus was to tell us when he will come, we will do only last minute preparations to try and

“break into” heaven…like the thief in the night.

But “come” refers not to a physical “second coming”…else he is contradicting Matthew 24:23 and Luke 17:20-21.

Only living Saviors carry on the work of the Father. He means when that Savior—even he—will open the Third Eye and pull his own initiates to his “Holy Ghost” (Astral form)—even if after his own physical death. After all, as lightning flashes from East to West so shall his earthly presence (“coming”) be.

(Matthew 24:27) Jesus meant that his mission will be short (3.5 years) like a flash of lighting that lights up a vast area, but quickly ends. It means nothing else. In all of Matthew 24, Jesus actually warns all who lean on a “second coming”.

The human being needs to recover or at least recognize the status of the Soul as a drop in the ocean of all possibility, the All-Source. It is easily understood. Less understood is that the Soul contains the All-Source. Each Soul is like a hologram

a photographic plate through which “coherent light” (a laser), projects a holographic image on the other side. The entire

“picture” (Creation) is contained in every fragment of that plate …any smallest piece the Light shines through.

So, to yourself, you are everything there is. And inside you , you will also find everything…even the “Kingdom”.

Or you can choose to be a Synthesist. It’s fine…now that you fully understand what that holds for you…

Would it ever come?

A view premised on fresh concepts that drill right to the core of all contentious issues surrounding “God”.

The baseline concepts herein form the solid framework for all future deliberations on “God”. It’s a big step if everyone is left with no wriggle room at all as to if there is “God” or not…and with that solved, better understand what, then, the overarching purpose of Life is, and why we find ourselves

*

in this unique part of the universe…

This done, it becomes a simpler matter of whether one prefers the “Analyst” or “Synthesist” route…and we’re now debating at a much higher level…
