Ruckus in the Barnyard

The farmer was about to kill

The pig of the fattest weight

When pig cried out,

"I don't want to be on your plate!"

"Okay," said the farmer

And took out his gun again

This time to kill the fattest hen

When the hen stopped him short,

And said, "Dear farmer, I've chicks to support!"

The pig and the hen took a sigh of relief

And the farmer was out for beef

When the cow stopped him too

When she said, "How can you kill me after all I've given you?"

So instead of a killing spree

The farmer had carrots, lettuce and broccoli!

The Frog and the Dog

There once were a frog and a dog

Who both were resting on al log

At the end of the day

They had drifted away

Into the deep blue fog.
