Dear Lover,
three days
of laughter

warmth
souls laid bare
beneath moonlight
sweat-licked skin
shining in the sun
and your eyes
are deep rivers
and snow-capped mountains
the volcano of your mouth
releasing a steamy lava
that builds
in layers of silk
fluid and caressable
you have a heart I can stand on
and the earth stopped turning
when I glanced up
and love was in my window
and you were in my doorway
knocking, morning glories in hand
button up, dress suit, cuff links
and there was no one but you
lined in velvet
cloaked in silk
dipped in honey
rolled in sugar
offering pockets full
of love
