XII

Would it be peace on the earth

If toys were alive?

Who could knife

A toy dog or shoot

A Barbie doll or a toy monkey?

Would this be the key

For solving the problem of war and peace

In the world? Don’t we miss

Something that we could have

If children would be brave

And would stay in front of the canons

Holding toys in their arms?

How would the street look like

If toys would drive toy cars?

Would anyone place a bomb

In a toy car and hope

That toys would die?

I think we still can fly

Because nobody could do such a thing,

Ring, bells, ring!
