When You Are Falling…

Flashing a smile like a model

she feels like a collection of pieces

falling to the floor

and no one sees the pain bleeding

down her cheek

What can you do

when you have everything

and still feel worthless

Looking fresh from the photoshoot

he still feels the ache

the desperation of the lonely

and no one sees the emptiness

that hides beneath the tan

What can you hold on to

when the camera loves you

but nobody else cares

What if there was still beauty in the broken

and love was more than a feeling

what if you are worth more than what you are doing

and help was out there for those searching

what if you would stop waiting

do you really like the crisis where you are staying

what if…what if you would

start reaching…out

would things begin changing

would you write a better ending

then the one you were thinking

what if…what if you would…

start calling…for help

the pages of your life

are there for your turning…

sometimes a dark chapter

is only the set up for the final victory

over misery
