Petals
On this stream of life
We strew crimsoned with joy
By the golden petals-eccentric as the winds we are
Though roses whither in the unravel sand.
Its scent still lurchs in our breath,
Whitening blackened hearts
An arrow short by an angel
Piercing thro' our aching daylight,
Making us leak diamond dust
And breaking the oracles of our nightmares,
But we just get swept away in the etched memories
On the unstained petals.
Drifting on the sailing knowledge
Like wonder, it opens minds
Petal by petal, of flowery thoughts,
Stopping us from being passengers in our own lives
And as we glance into the future
Thro' the scope of hope
