A Summers Dream falls asleep
Lost summer dreams lose their daunting peak
Disappointed frowns are sketched deep into the trunk, of an old Maple tree
The eloquent touch of a cool summer’s breeze, drifts on endlessly
Loneliness creeps into a long winter’s sacred dream
One is awakened by nightmares, and vivid dreams
Seagulls dash for forgotten crumbs, left by the sleepless sea
Fierce waves roar at the break of dawn
Swimmers know that it won’t be long…
For the realities of saying their goodbyes
To the low and high tides
The majestic sunsets
Haunting regrets
The unforgettable taste of salt water, mixed with heaven’s mist
Oh, the sweet memory of the starlit skies, and a sultry moonlight kiss!
The heartbreaking promise that wasn’t kept
Yet
A string of winter dreams won’t forget
How Faith allowed hope, to awaken and appear
So that love may shine through summer next year
I pray for a new day
That there is peace
Brotherly love tenderly
Hope for all
A chance to follow your call
Love for the lonely and forgotten
Many true blessings
Wisdom
Joy
Peace
Passing love onto humanity
