The battle is for peace and the war is for pride. The die must cast, either to lose the battle and win the war or to lose the war and win the battle…
To either sacrifice peace for pride or pride for peace, to either be the hero or the coward—the decision must be made. The battle goes beyond the war but the war stays within the content of this battle. If the battle is won, then the war ends but if the war is won, the battle just only begins in new dimension.
You may judge it cowardice but in it I see paradise. I step out of war to win the greater battle of peace because in peace is my pride. I will pay the great price; I will roll these dice of love for the greater pride of a greater tomorrow.
Call it cowardice but a true friendship I won’t jeopardize. I step down from the contest of pride for the conquest of peace and love, for a future proud enough for me, a future proud for US.
