TRIBUTE

The sun is on high today. I take my sit on the elevated high bay to get a clear view of the empty high way. Today I remember her and my high fever may return if I do not get a hold of myself.

Adufe, I never thought someday I'll have to sit and write you a tribute. Ah! How unfair is fate. Fate served you beauty but forgot to spare you LIFE.

Adufe mi owon.
Pelu ibanuje ni mo fi n ko iwe yi fun o.
Laarin egbe ewa re sowon.
Orekelewa, pelu ewa iyebiye lo fi lawon
Iwo gangan ni n ma pe ni okanlawon.

It pains me beloved that you are dead. I'm grieved more to feel your spirit in dread. I sorrow not that tomorrow you'll be laid to rest in one piece. But my sorrow is in the danger of your not resting in and on peace (king of Salem). Yet today, I joy in the hope of GRACE there still is for the living dead like you and I hope this note will change a whole lot of things.

Emi-tire-tooto,
'Motayo.
