BEHIND THE MASK
As much as I seek to know what lies behind, I must look beyond the reflection into the light that cast the shadow. To seek to unravel the task behind the mask or to bypass the mystery of the mask is like searching for the pedigree of shadows because the real task is unveiling the mask.
Some people wax in the futile effort to start the task before actually unveiling the mask and many others bask in the shadow of the mask’s mirage thereby loosing track of the task itself. The mask is the vision while the task is the mission and the shadow is dream. Catch the vision of the dream and commission the vision into a mission—that is the drill.
Dream about the future, paint a picture for the future (vision), read the script for actualizing that future as outlined in the script for the future called scripture and finally pursue that future (mission). A dream is what you wake from. A mission is what you wake into.
My vision is Hope, my mission is Household of Hope.
