Reality?

Reality?

Reality is always such a drag. It must be, why else would the human race spend so much time trying to avoid it or cover it up?

Today we speak of Barbies…Plastic people are perfect on the outside, hollow on the inside, and when heat is applied things start getting messy and a little stinky.

Have you ever thought of it? If you ask people how they are doing they will say they are doing fine. What are the odds that this is true? If it isn’t. People who say they are fine, when they are not, not only aren’t doing well, they aren’t telling the truth to the very people who could help them.

What would happen if someone found out that you aren’t perfect? Really. People probably aren’t going to be surprised. They probably knew the truth about you all along and were wondering when you would find out. Little do they know what you know about them though ;)

The reality is that most people will not look back at their lives and wish that they had held more grudges. If today was your last day, what would you regret? What can you do today to start making the changes necessary to deal with it?

Once you’ve helped someone else out of the ditch, they can back up their truck and help pull you out. This is how the world changes, not through spectacular feats of supermen, but through the actions of individuals brave enough to face reality, grab it, and maybe bend it a little.
