A POET AND TWO LOVERS

From the window

I see the sky of heavenly bodies, planets

and stars shivering in envy.

Just I, a poet,

have the pleasure of  sharing

two women in the same bed.

Me, in the centre of the heat,

protected by two bodies

warm with love.

On one side, the warm, thick body

of transparent ivory

of a woman, a natural flower.

On the other side, a warm

little body, soft as velvet,

olive-coloured.

The warm ivory with her sky-blue eyes,

her lips like tulips, strong and red,

have sunk over mine.

The other has black almond eyes

like two pieces of charcoal lit with passion,

and a little mouth, soft and tender.

In the silence of the night

you can hear the beating hearts

of the poet’s two lovers.

This is my happiness, bigger that the universe,

listening to the blood of the underground rivers

singing the melody of love.
