A BOUQUET OF FLOWERS

I am a condor facing the line

that separates day from night.

At dawn, I take

the brightest and most beautiful stars,

I take a rainbow,

with all its different colours

and paint the stars

in beautiful shades,  making a bouquet of flowers

for you, my love.

This is the symbol

of my love.

Darling,

I am just a poet

who can put together

night and day,

taking the stars,

the rainbows,

for you, my love.

I want to be

both light and shadow for you.

Darling,

take in your sea hands,

this bouquet of stars

from the sky.

You who are on Earth,

with your body of snow

and your golden hair.

Dead or alive, I will continue

with our shared life.
