Love can never be defined,

But for me you gave it a meaning.

The day I was born you took me in your arms,

I opened my eyes and was mesmerized to see your charms.

You brought me to the house with joy,

And played with me all day with each of my toy.

You stayed awake for nights to make me sleep,

Never did you show any anger, all I saw was love to reap.

I took my first step holding your finger,

For my happiness, sometimes you became a child, sometimes a singer.

You went to leave me the first day to school,

Helped me take my first jump in the pool.

I saw the fairs sitting on your shoulder,

Never did you say it is paining, though I knew you were growing older.

You fulfilled each of my demand with a smile,

And I was enjoying my childhood all this while.

The day you passed away my father,

I touched your feet and promised myself to be one like you rather.

This is just the beginning part,

I’ll write till I empty my heart.
