Prayer of Consecration to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel

O Blessed and Immaculate Virgin, Mother of Carmel, I consecrate myself to you.  O Dignity and Splendor of Mt. Carmel, you who with special kindness look upon those who wear your holy scapular, look also favorably upon me

Robe me in the mantle of your Maternal protection.  Fortify my weakness with your power; enlighten the darkness of my mind with your wisdom; increase in me Faith, Hope and Charity.  Fill my soul with grace and virtue, so that I may be ever dear to you and to your Divine Son.  Assist me in life.  Comfort me in death with your most gracious presence and lead me to your Divine Son as your child, and as your devout servant to praise and dwell with you and the saints of Carmel in the kingdom of your Son for all eternity.  Amen.

Sr. Josephine Malabug Sanchez of Jesus, the Merciful Savior, CM, better known as Sr. Jo, belongs to the Congregation of Carmelite Missionaries.  She was born in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines on March 20, 1969 to Mr. Gaudencio Teves Sanchez, Sr. (Senior) and Mrs. Consolacion Frogoso Malabug. She is second-born, first daughter of four siblings: two brothers and two sisters (all married).  Currently, she is the Sister – In – Charge and Administrator of St. Therese Dispensary, and member of St. Vincent De Paul Group, St. Monica Catholic Church, Kitengela.
