Phil Collins IS The Man!
When I was eleven heading onto twelve,
I first heard this man and I would delve,
My radio was on and I would hear his tunes,
One by one filled me with various moods,
Some were slow and others were quite fast,
Finally my folks got me that album at last,
It of course was Phil’s third solo effort,
Not long after I really got into his work,
His new Genesis album became an instant hit,
I then memorized it bit by every little bit,
I knew now I was a huge Phil Collins fan,
Still to this very day he’s the hit man,
He’s my favourite there’s no denying that,
From In The Air Tonight to Wear My Hat,
All his work past and everything in between,
Nowadays still making noise on the music scene,
From stage to music and then screen,
Mr. Collins has done it all it does seem!
