BITTER ROOT

Pseudo-energies emerging

I must reclaim my victory

I must carefully examine

The whims within my psyche

New memories emerge

Memories beckoning the past

I don’t want the joy to slip away

I don’t want to continuing

Chewing on the bitter root.
