I’m not sure how to explain it

It would make you scoff anyway.

But I’ve got this feeling

A certain kind of joy that can’t fade.

My spirit has been forged

Out of the mercies from your heart.

With diligence, you sweep up the pieces

Of dreams that were torn apart.

Hope- you’ve given me a glimmer-

Shelter- you’ve covered my naked bones.

To what price should I pay?

I owe you my life.
