Can the sun disavow the sky?
Does the moon betray the stars
That emerges in the night?
Does the smoke abandon the flames
Of the fire burning brightly?
Will a bird forget its nest
When it flies far from society?
Will my Creator turn his face
When this life chills my bones?
Will he lift up my brokenness
And take me home?
