PALE SHADE OF GOLD
The sun can’t decide what shade to be.
Early in the morning, she was tried on various hues.
She adorned her illumination with
A bright, bold glow, but the sky tested her will.
In the end, the sky prevailed-
The sun was given over
To a milder, pale shade of gold.
