SENSATION

Petrified silence amid screams of agony

I heard the cackles of some dark force

trying to harness my positive energy.

I cried out, “Let me loose!”

Petrified, but I remained strong,

I know this dark spell that’s going on.

The darkness lied to me.

I trusted the voice until the thoughts

seemed maligned and filled with dread.

I tried to break loose, my body spun around.

This place was somewhat familiar,

I should try to run from here!

“Shut up, shut up!” I shouted,

But the force was relentless.

My only hope was to resist this power.

I woke up and reclaimed my dawn.
