3.3 - Dialogue
John:
I was looking for a poem
To be pasted on my wall.
I looked throughout my emails
And messages I recall.
But this Sunday is different.
You weren’t on the ball.
I couldn’t find one anywhere.
There wasn’t one at all.
Ronaldo7:
I wrote some words last Friday
When I was in the Mall,
But I broke my rhythm in despair
And my finger in a fall.
[Author's Note: When to write? Always! A shopping list is an excuse to play with words. A message to your friend is an exercise in excellence. The poem above is the result of several Sundays of inspiration, and nothing this week. John worried and wrote the Inciting Incident, to inspire me to start another adventure. I lost my Final Fight against gravity, but saved the messages for you in this bundle, with hope to inspire you and your writing buddies to do the same, with a warning to concentrate on the stairs instead of your phone.]
