I once met a fellow, named Mickey,

Who poured me a drink, rather sticky.

Club soda and lime,

With rhythm and rhyme.

He said it was called a Lime Rickey.

In poetry, the theme is often an emotion, a feeling, a sentimental journey from smile to grin to laugh to pleasure. Word play is a way to generate smiles. The format (limerick) is often used to generate grins. The recipe above is clearly meant to make people laugh. The only doubt is about the title.]
