6.3 - Recipe for Best Poetry

Ingredients:

B.E.S.T. = Beauty + Emotions + Smartness + Technique

Preparation:

"Cogito, ergo sum", had said

The wise René Descartes.

"I think, therefore I am", it means.

He thought that he was smart.

But for some clever poetry,

The brain is just a start.

The Edgar Allan Poe-try

Had horror, fear, and mystery.

Technique that makes hands blistery

With always something twistery.

When mister B kills sister E,

Histeria ends his story.

Both brain and skill are paramount,

But not enough for art.

To make a poem precious

It takes a lot of heart.

Best buy a box of happiness

And add it to your tart.

Image-in-paint a happy bird.

Just let it fly around.

Its colours brighten up the day.

How joyful is its sound.

With beauty, every well-done work

Is able to astound.

Your laughter in between the lines,

Your tears, your fears, your curse,

They travel with your work of art

Throughout the universe

To change, some way, your reader's day:

Your poetry, their nurse.
