Snakebite

Fangs, carving white flesh,

blood, turning to stone,

statues, among stars

brilliantly blinding

believers.

I crawled around that tree trunk,

as a shadow, and snake.

I crawled around the Earth,

as a soul, as a bird,

I crawled...

The sky stood ashen,

a statue of waves,

threatening angels,

threatening demons,

threatening the guiltless

with doom.

Vomit in a cup,

stain the Holy Grail,

stain it with your wrath, oh Lucifer!

A snake in holy essence,

the wisdom of the ages,

the wings of winds of hatred

towards man!

What have you done, oh, man?

Look at the waves of blood!

Stray bullets wheeze through spirit,

splitting a hole in God!

Oh, evil beast! Oh, man!

What have you done?
