Permutations

I am that I am,

all people united,

all oceans as one,

the sky and the stars,

the planets collided,

a universe and every atom

that never existed.

What I observe, I become.

What I teach, teaches me.

Not all shall be divulged

yet everything must be.

This madness,

this illness that I bear

in my heart, mind, and chest,

this amnesia, crawling up my spine

as a matter of pathology,

makes me

the snowflake,

the sun, the rainbow,

the futile expectation,

and the worm preying on decaying flesh.

Behold them all within me,

behold me turning into each!

Behold the tempest bowing before me,

in the tornado that I beseech.

Crashing down sentient

corpses,

I take pride in being your God.

Tearing down misconception,

I stand a devil.

Yet, I walk aimlessly among you,

in the form of a creature

that wears a burden on her back,

leaden,

condemned.
