Battlefield

I've never harmed,

I screamed,

then I whispered,

'I have never harmed...

anyone!'

This roller coaster of deception

has left fingerprints

on my chest.

I lie bruised,

battered,

defeated

myself.

Fear not thy failure, my child!

Fear not thy failure,

for when thy ashes stain

thy blood

you shall be free

of pain.
