If you were Yi-doryong,
would I be your Chun-hyang?
They shared one mind, two bodies,
envied no one, no, not even the eternal.
Their mind reflected
light from clear skies.
Note: Yi-doryong and Chun-hyang are triumphant lovers in Korean folklore.
