The grocer boy was teasing Snip
By pelting him with rice,
And keeping just beyond his reach—
Which wasn’t very nice.
Just then the bullet clipped the chain
That held the pup, and—joy!
He fairly sprinted through the air,
And nabbed that grocer boy!
