Fun at the Shops

The way your eyes twinkle, the way you smile,

As both we girls make our way through the shops.

I hadn't had this much fun in a while.

Beautiful dresses, try on a new style,

So many trousers, lots of different tops.

The way your eyes twinkle, the way you smile.

We try on hundreds, all stuffed in a pile,

Summary shoes too, try on the flip-flops.

I hadn't had this much fun in a while.

Try on some jewellery, you look like the Nile,

Glitter-girl, gorgeous; wear some more props.

The way your eyes twinkle, the way you smile.

So many shops, we could walk a whole mile,

Bags weighing us down, my new earring drops.

I hadn't had this much fun in a while.

You need a manicure, your nails I'd file.

Not over, we need to make some more stops.

The way your eyes twinkle, the way you smile,

I hadn't had this much fun in a while.
