Bridged Water
There is a river
Whose name is Cedar
Above it is a bridge
For people to walk across.
This river is home
Too many animals.
The mallard is one
That spends time there.
The bridge above
Can be used for fishing
But since there is a roadway near
It is not permitted.
Lots of people cross this bridge
They can look north or south
They can see things all around
But the best view is of River Walk Place.
River Walk Place is a large building
But what’s beautiful about it?
The beauty lies in the landscaping
And in the four fountains on its east side.
