Flowering Trees
Pink, purple, and white,
Is what we sport,
The colors of our flowers,
Under the house's lights.
We have the beauty of the night,
The house's warm lights,
The sky up above,
And roots planted deeply,
In the ground below.
Soon my flowers will be gone,
My branches bare,
For soon winter will be here,
And I'll be asleep for it.
We flowering trees,
Sleep in the winter,
So we can bring you much joy,
In the seasons to come.
