The Cabin
Snowbound trees,
Snow all around,
Sits a single rail fence,
Its cabin and tree.
The cabin looks cold,
And musty and blue,
But for the inhabitants,
It’s cozy as can be.
The trees in the back,
Are covered with great care,
The fence, tree, and cabin,
All share in the covering.
The cabin is home,
To who knows what or whom,
Through its cold, musty, blue look,
You find comfort and warmth.
