The Lake of the Valley

I bathe in the clean, serene valley's lake,

I make note of the beauty around me,

A beautiful, sublime scene in my wake,

I taste the cold, fresh waters carefully.

I've never been so at one with nature

My small feet beneath are nibbled by fish

Small fish, medium fish and more mature,

In between my legs they all do vanish.

Though the water's cold, I don't want to leave

My splashing about is the only sound.

No one's around, I'm as naked as Eve,

If they were, I'm within the waters bound.

I close my eyes light and meditate deep,

A feeling so peaceful, I'm soon to sleep.
