The Valley's Call
Every night Liz looks up towards the sky
And preys upon a bright star in her wake.
She knows of the valley, she hears its cry,
The journey towards it she has to make.
Liz hears the valley's call, she knows it's there,
Her journey to it will be pilgrimage
She pays her respects each night by prayer,
To the valley's harmonic heritage.
No one's told her of its place, yet she knows,
For it calls to her every single night,
Its distant presence gets her through her lows
And much more content with her daily plight.
In future, Liz will to the valley go,
However long it takes, however slow.
