His Warm Teddy

As the little boy stares at his teddy

He takes in his soft, adorable face,

The teddy gazes back at him steady

Gently he would the soft teddy embrace.

He takes in his soft, adorable face,

He feeds his teddy some cornflakes and tea,

Gently he would the soft teddy embrace

He knows teddy's alive, he names it Lee.

He feeds his teddy some cornflakes and tea,

At night the boy tucks his teddy asleep

He knows teddy's alive, he names it Lee,

Comfortable and warm he would Lee keep.

At night the boy tucks his teddy asleep

He asks Lee does he want anything more?

Comfortable and warm he would Lee keep

How's Lee today? Happy, glad, sad or sore?

He asks Lee does he want anything more?

It matters to him how his teddy feels,

How's Lee today? Happy, glad, sad or sore?

He feeds his teddy some banana peels.

It matters to him how his teddy feels,

The teddy gazes back at him steady

He feeds his teddy some banana peels,

As the little boy stares at his teddy.
