The Fall of the Bee

The busy bee sucks upon its flower

Collecting all he can for his honey,

Her huge golden petals at him glower,

She laughs as he does, it tickles funny.

Collecting all he can for his honey,

Plant by plant he sneezes the pollen sweet,

She laughs as he does, it tickles funny,

He'll soon go home, he's collected a treat.

Plant by plant he sneezes the pollen sweet,

A small innocent child falls in his way,

He'll soon go home, he's collected a treat

The child chases the bee, it's not his day.

A small innocent child falls in his way,

The bee is provoked, angry and buzzing,

The child chases the bee, it's not his day

The angry bee's wrath results in a sting.

The bee is provoked, angry and buzzing,

The child screams and yells and begins to cry,

The angry bee's wrath results in a sting

That's a tragedy, for this bee will die.

The child screams and yells and begins to cry,

The child will be fine, knows  a kindly bee

That's a tragedy, for this bee will die,

Moving on with his own flower, gently.

The child will be fine, knows  a kindly bee

Her huge golden petals at him glower

Moving on with his own flower, gently,

The busy bee sucks upon its flower.
