The Hairdressers

My hair was growing, it needed a trim

Getting tired of my natural colour

It all just seemed so much duller and dim

So I went to a hairdressers parlour.

At the hairdressers I check out new tones

With all the numbers of various styles

The busy hairdresser's equipped with phones,

Three ordinary ones and two mobiles.

The phones ring now as she tries to explain

Eventually I a colour do choose

The end result is a nice sunny stain

And lots of complements I don't refuse.

Smiling today, I've enjoyed my day out

Back there I'll return, there will be no doubt.
