Run Away Fox

The hunters are coming, run away fox,

They're chasing you with all their guns and hounds.

Run as fast as you can, you're no built ox.

Their horses are strong, their dogs are like rocks,

They'll chase you through to the tinniest sounds.

The hunters are coming, run away fox.

The hound dogs are fierce, their sharply teeth shocks,

The fox's determination astounds.

Run as fast as you can, you're no built ox.

Where will you hide?  Can you fit in a box?

Dogs are much slower when they've put on pounds.

The hunters are coming, run away fox.

The trail of the fox, the hunting dogs mocks,

They lose the fox's scent and run for rounds.

Run as fast as you can, you're no built ox.

He distracts them with someone's stinking socks,

That gives him time to move to better grounds.

The hunters are coming, run away fox,

Run as fast as you can, you're no built ox.
