THE PROMISE

Two great friends,

Parted in hatred,

The joy of lust,

The fall of temptation,

The agony of sin,

The death of hell.

My love,

I long not to see you,

Until when my time comes,

A love that waits,

Leads to a bliss full of joy,

Behold how soon it blew away,

Like a candle lit in the wind.

Oh my love,

A most beautiful nuptial,

Shall it be,

If you had kept your pride.

Patience lies the head

That wears the crown,

A curse shall mar an unripe grape,

Which make the belly sour.

My love,

I long not to live any longer,

A day before my fall.

The promise you made,

Broken too soon,

And you failed to bade me,

A sweet goodbye.

Gone too soon,

Like a morning rose,

Your heart you broke,

Your promise you forgot.

How sweet the days were,

How lovely were they,

When you forgot your vows,

And broke my heart.

Like a way so bright,

It seemed right unto you,

The end of death,

Lies beneath the starry skies.

Oh my Sun,

How great a star thou was,

That lightened my day,

You made me happy always,

Until the day you moved,

In the paths of the endless dark hole,

Which draw great lights within,

How wish you had listened to me.

The sweetest whisper,

The vipers kiss,

The kiss of a demon,

Why have you fallen so soon?

Their traps so lovely and deceitful,

You forgot your promise,

And never said a goodbye.

In anger, hatred and confusion.

Why did we part ways??

Oh my love,

Gone too soon.
