KOALA EYES

I'm yearning for two lovers

I'm burying my feelings under goose-covers

Sunshine Coast looks at me through glass eyes

Will I ever throw a full-Monty dice

Koala eyes give me an eclipse of the heart

Every time I see you my heart falls apart

Voiceless I scream; Turn around

Is this my final love-count?

I'm tired of listening to my own tears

I'm swimming in my pool of fears

I really need you tonight

I kiss your Koala-eyes so bright

I want to sing my love song in your arms

Wearing your seahorse charms

Why can't you tell me how you feel about me

You and I came from the same South sea

You gave me your image words

You always take your paper bag-cords

Your name is imprinted in my glass

You gave me a movie-world pass

I discovered a new universe in your moonlight-eyes

Was I only a willing moth in your web of lies

You closed the door between us

You left me in your desert-gush

Lonely I stand in your circle of words

You played your walk away chords

I stand alone

Wondering if we'll ever belong
